Chapter 29 #3
"You haven't earned a real kiss yet," she whispered. "You're still covered in the scent of that bar. We need to scrub you clean first."
With a series of sharp clicks, Carrie expertly undid the knots. My arms dropped like lead, heavy and tingling. The moment the restraints were gone, Carrie caught my hands, her thumbs moving in slow, soothing circles over the red friction marks on my wrists.
"There we go," she murmured, pressing a series of soft kisses to the chafed skin. "You did so well for me, Alex. Such a good, quiet girl. Stay here. Don't move a muscle."
As the tub filled in the en-suite, Carrie climbed back onto the bed.
She started at my collarbone, pressing soft, butterfly kisses across my skin, moving down to the swell of my breasts, then the curve of my ribs.
Each touch was a reclamation, lingering on every spot until I smelled only of her and expensive sandalwood.
The bathroom was a sanctuary of steam and marble. Carrie guided me down into the hot water, a weighted blanket of warmth that made me let out a long, shaky exhale. Kneeling on the bath mat, she picked up a silk sponge, soaking it in her signature lavender and earthy oils.
She was meticulous, washing my shoulders, my arms, and my chest in firm, rhythmic circles, physically erasing the bar, the noise, and the lingering presence of anyone else.
"You look so much better now," she murmured, her hand moving under the water to rest firmly against my thigh. "No more cheap perfume. Just me. Tell me, darling. Who do you belong to?"
"I belong to you, Dr. Carter,” I said, my voice finally firm and sure. "Only you. Always."
A satisfied smile spread across her lips. She leaned down and finally pressed a real kiss to my mouth—deep, possessive, and tasting of whiskey.
She lifted me from the water, wrapping me in a plush towel before leading me back to the bedroom. Sitting on the edge of the bed, she pulled me to stand between her knees.
"Tell me the truth, Alex. Do you like it? Do you like Mommy owning you like this?"
"I loved it," I breathed, my hands resting on her shoulders.
"I know you do," she murmured. "But I think you need a more permanent reminder for the next time you're behind that bar."
Her lips found the junction of my neck and shoulder. She didn't kiss me softly; she bit—just enough to make me gasp—and began to suck with a slow, deliberate pressure. She moved to my collarbone, then to the soft swell of my breast, leaving a trail of dark, high-contrast claims across my skin.
"When you look in the mirror tomorrow morning, you’re going to see exactly what happens when you let a stranger get too close," she whispered.
She pulled me back onto the bed, hooking her arms under my knees to push my legs wide.
She leaned in, and a focused bloom of pain hit my inner thigh as she claimed the tender skin close to my core.
I hissed, my fingers digging into the duvet, but I didn't pull away.
The pain was grounding—the anchor I needed to stay attached to her, a physical manifestation of the guilt I was shedding.
"Such a brave girl," Carrie cooed, opening my folds delicately. "Look at you. Glistening. Absolutely soaking for me, even after all that discipline. I think it’s finally time I gave you exactly what you’ve been begging for."
I was practically sobbing then—not from sadness, but from the sheer, crushing weight of the overstimulation and the agonising wait.
Then, finally, the mercy came. She leaned forward and licked me—one long, slow, deliberate stroke from bottom to top.
The relief was so violent that my back arched entirely off the bed. The heat of her tongue, the sudden grounding reality of her mouth on me—it was more than I could process. Carrie dived back in, her tongue firm and rhythmic as she took what belonged to her with a ferocious hunger.
The moment her mouth closed over my clit, the world ceased to exist. I didn't just come; I shattered.
It was an explosive, violent release. My hips bucked upward, but Carrie’s hands were iron on my thighs, pinning me down so I had to feel every single throb of the climax. I let out a long, broken scream that died into jagged sobs, my vision blurring as my brain short-circuited.
When she finally sat back, her lips were slick, her cheeks flushed with the absolute triumph of complete dismantlement. She crawled up the bed, looming over my limp body like a predator settling over its kill.
"There," she whispered, her voice a low, gravelly purr. "Now you’re back where you belong. Empty. Marked. And completely mine. Do you need Mommy to hold you now, Alex?"
The last of the adrenaline left me hollowed out. "I need you," I sobbed, reaching for her blindly, clutching at her arms. "Please... Mommy, I need you. I'm sorry."
The shift in Carrie was instantaneous. The predator vanished, replaced by the fierce, protective woman who had held my heart since the day we met.
She didn’t hesitate; she slid upward, pulling my fucking limp, shaking body into her arms. She dragged me against her bare skin, my head tucked firmly under her chin, her heartbeat a steady, rhythmic thrum against my ear.
"Shh, baby. I've got you," she murmured, her voice no longer a lash, but a velvet shroud. "I’m right here. Mommy’s got you."
She wrapped her legs with mine, tangling us together until I couldn’t tell where the fuck I ended and she began. One of her hands stroked my hair, her fingers untangling the mess I had made while I was fighting the ropes, while the other rubbed soothing, grounding circles into the small of my back.
I buried my face in the crook of her neck, breathing in the scent of her—now untainted by anything but the salt of my tears and the lingering heat of the night.
The marks she had left on my neck and thighs stung with a dull, throbbing heat, a constant physical reminder that I was safe, I was claimed, and I was home.
"You're okay," she whispered, kissing the top of my head as my sobs finally began to taper off into exhausted hitches. "The night is over, Alex. You're clean, you're mine, and you're exactly where you're supposed to be."
She pulled the heavy, down-filled duvet over both of us, sealing us into a warm, dark world where the rest of the lounge, the bar, and the world outside didn't exist. In the quiet of the room, the only sound was our breathing as it slowly synchronised.
"Rest now, baby," she commanded softly, her grip tightening just enough to let me know she wasn't letting go.
"But remember the weight of my hand on you.
Tomorrow, you have a day of recovery. The day after, when you put on your uniform and head back to that bar, you carry this feeling with you.
You belong to me in the light just as much as you do in the dark. "
