Eve

Tomatoes and cucumbers have started growing over the last few days.

Wheat and corn are slower, as expected. Chickens are steadily getting used to the cycle of egg laying.

At the rate we’re going, it’ll only be a few weeks before we have a regular supply.

We’re still debating if we should eat some of them or not.

Adam said he wouldn’t mind handling the gruesome part, but we’ve decided to put a pin in it for now.

Things to check up on tomorrow: root vegetables, fruit (+check if the trees need picking?)

Things to get from town: more pans, cleaning supplies, spices

Adam picked a few flowers from the meadow near the fields and gave them to me when he came back this evening. The hydrangeas weren’t strong in smell, but the blue hues of them were beautiful. He said they reminded him of my eyes.
