Chapter 29
Addison
“Ishould kick your big headed ass!”
Akira snapped, sitting across from me on the jet.
“You had not one, but now two marriage arrangements and ain’t tell me a damn thing!”
I reached over and grabbed her hands.
“I am so sorry, love! I didn’t know how to tell you about the shit that I had gotten myself into. My grandmother’s bills were stacking up and the offer presented before me seemed like the only option I had. I should have confided in you, though. Hell, you would’ve slapped some sense into me.”
Akira laughed as she ran her thumb across the back of my hand.
“Yes, I would have. You know when someone gives me bad vibes, I shut the shit down immediately. Look, I owe you an apology too. I should have told you more about Raheem and his boss. Granted, I didn’t know much about Seojun, but I knew that Mr. Adalyn had no problem helping those in need.”
I shook my head.
“Girl, please. Nothing was your fault, it was mine. I kept my mouth shut instead of asking for help and got myself in this mess. I’m just grateful that you are by my side now and I can get your advice.”
“Yes! Speaking of, you going to let Seojun open them legs tonight?”
I sat back in my seat and chewed on my bottom lip.
“Uh, I don’t know. If I was being honest, I’m scared. Don’t get me wrong, he’s fine as fuck and if it wasn’t my first time, I would’ve been let him in.”
K nodded.
“It’s completely understandable that you are scared, but think of it like this. Seojun will be your husband, even if it is only temporarily, but you should tell him what’s up. I think he’ll be very understanding.”
“You think so?”
“Girl, yes! If you don’t want to have sex, I’m sure he’d be cool with it. Hell, the man let you use Tiffany and from what I heard, no one is allowed to touch her. He must like you.”
I smiled before taking a sip of my wine.
“I-I think I do want to have sex with him.”
I admitted.
“Like I said, talk to him and if that’s what you want, go for it. Plus, he looks like he’ll take his time, before he puts you through the headboard.”
“Akira!”
I shouted in laughter.
“What? It be them quiet ones that be the big freaks.”
“Anyway,”
I said, hurriedly changing the subject.
“How long have you been helping Raheem with the real clean up?”
Akira lifted her eyebrows before she nodded with understanding.
“Yesterday was only my fourth time. He said he doesn’t like me around the violence, but be having my head about to go through the headboard when he see’s me fucking somebody up with my butterfly knife.”
I burst into laughter.
“Okay, see I thought I was tripping, but Seojun was staring at me like he wanted to snatch off my drawls when I was beating up Z.”
“He probably did girl! These men are definitely different and when we show that we aren’t afraid to be apart of their world, that gets them harder than trigonometry math.”
We slapped hands in laughter and continued to talk and sip on wine until we dosed off. It had only been two days and I had been into so much drama that my body finally crashed. After a few hours, the plane landed in Vegas and we were placing our bags in the trunk of a car. I could feel my heart racing. This was it. In just a few hours, I would be married to essentially a stranger, but if I had to choose, I’m glad it was Seojun.
While I slept during the flight, he did everything that he promised. My grandmother and her caregiver were moved into one of his vacant homes and he added me to all of his bank accounts. The mortgage was paid in full and he deposited fifty thousand dollars into Yolanda’s account so that she could take care of my nana without worrying about a missed paycheck.
“I’m starving. Let’s grab some food,”
Seojun said, rubbing his stomach.
“Already on it, bossman. There’s a barbacoa and shrimp burrito in the limo. Plus, a few street tacos for you, Addison. Akira and I will meet y’all at the chapel.”
Seojun nodded and escorted me into the limo.
“Good looking out.”
“No problem. Oh, Seojun, don’t be mean if Addison asks for some of one of those burritos.”
Addison looked over her shoulder.
“Why you say that?”
Raheem laughed.
“Because Seojun’s hungry ass don’t like to share food.”
Seojun threw him the middle finger before we got into the limo. My eyes widened when I saw all of the food sitting inside the car causing my mouth to water. I was grateful that it was mexican food, because I could never say no to some tacos. Seojun grabbed one of the burritos that was the size of a small chihuahua and rubbed his hands together.
“Damn, you going to eat all of that?”
“Hell yeah!”
As soon as Seojun got settled, he snatched the drawls off the burritos and was going in. I had never seen someone so lean and fit be able to eat so much food. Not that I had a problem with that because your girl knew how to throw down on some food, too.
“Here,”
Seojun said, scooting next to me.
“Take a bite.”
“You’re willing to share your food with me? I assumed you weren’t the sharing type after what Raheem said.”
“I’m not. I maybe small, but I love food and I hate sharing. Well, except if it’s with you. You, I don’t mind sharing with.”
A smile spread across my face as I leaned over and took a bite. Different flavors and seasonings burst into my mouth, across my taste buds. I closed my eyes and moaned with delight.
“This is the best thing I’ve ever tasted.”
Seojun groaned causing me to open my eyes. He was gripping the burrito so hard, all of the filling damn near fell out. His eyes roamed over my body before staying on my lips causing my body to warm. His stare was so intense and full of desire that it caused my pussy to pulse with need. Seojun reached towards my face and glided his thump across ms the corner of my mouth. My breath quicken as he slipped the same thumb into his mouth, licking off the left over sauce from my face. I swallowed and squeezed my thighs together.
“Enjoy your tacos, yeobo.”
Seojun and I got our marriage certificate completed at the county office and were now in the wedding chapel. Standing at the mirror in the bridal’s suite, I looked over the dress that Akira had picked out for me. It was a beautiful white strapless wedding gown with lace intertwined down the sleeves. The back had buttons going down the middle of my back to the top of my ass. It was asymmetric and flowed just past my feet, but it wasn’t long enough to make me trip. The way this dress hugged my curves while showing off my full breast made me smile.
“Girl, you look fine as fuck!”
I laughed out loud.
“Thanks boo.”
“Did you put that special gift I gave you on, too?”
Akira asked, fixing my hair in the veil.
I huffed out a chuckle before rolling my eyes.
“You mean those two thin ass pieces of fabric they call undergarments.”
“That lingerie is sexy. When Seojun sees you in it, he won’t be able to keep his hands off of you.”
I swallowed.
“You think so?”
K nodded.
“Girl, that man been staring at you since I got here. I don’t think he’d care if you had on a tablecloth and flip flops, he still going to want you.”
A knock came at the door before the officiant poked her head inside, advising us that everything was ready to go. I hugged my best friend, grateful that she was here with me, and followed them to the chapel. My palms began to sweat as Fortunate by Maxwell began to play. Akira stepped out first as my flower girl and maid of honor. I took a deep breath and stepped around the curtain.
My eyes immediately found Seojun’s and my breath got caught in my throat. He looked so handsome in his black on black tailored suit. His long black hair flowed down the middle of his back with his right side tucked behind his ear, showing off those damn gold hoop earrings. I could feel my clit throbbing for him and by the way his eyes roamed up and down my body before a mischievous grin spread across his face. I knew he wanted me too. I briefly closed my eyes and said a quick prayer, hoping that Seojun would be good to me during this temporary agreement.
I exhaled and moved down the aisle towards him. Once I made it to the officiant, Seojun reached out and grabbed my hands as we stood in front of each other. His thumb moved idly across my palms as the officiant began the ceremony.
“I see that the pair wanted to use the traditional vows, is that correct?”
Seojun nodded but then turned to the officiant.
“I wanted to say something first.”
She nodded as I stared at him in confusion. What was he doing?
“Yeobo, I know how we met was not conventional, but I promise to cherish you while you are by my side. You are my once in a lifetime chance and I refuse to let you slip by. No matter what happens, I pray that you lean on me for comfort, support, and safety.”
Tears formed in my eyes as I smiled at him.
“I promise to hold you down on your good and worst days. It doesn’t matter what may come for us in the future, but I vow to be by your side through thick and thin.”
A slow smile crept across Seojun’s face as he leaned closer to me.
“Aht, aht, first the rings.”
The officiant demanded.
We laughed as we placed the rings on one another’s fingers.
“I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Yi, you may now kiss the bride.”
Seojun wrapped his hand around the back of my neck and pulled me closer. His nose brushed mine as he inhaled my scent.
“I am going to devour you, Mrs. Yi.”
He whispered onto my lips before smashing them to mine.
