Chapter 38

Mama K (a.k.a.) Kim

Istared between my brother, nephew, and son as I sat tied up in my brother’s basement.

After the Reapers and Seojun’s people cleared out the building, they hauled me off to accept my fate.

My eyes darted between all of them and I wish I had killed them sooner.

I had nothing but hatred for them because they all ruined my life.

I should’ve been in charge of the Jaguars. I should have been the one with all of the power, but no!

“Look, this was all her idea!”

Delilah cried, tilting her head towards me. I rolled my eyes. They already knew the damn truth because I told them. If I was going down, then so was everybody else.

“Mama, please.”

Addison said, walking into the room, Denice and Bishop trailing behind her.

“You sold me out all for some money and so that you could run the Reapers. Fyi, they never were going to accept you as their leader.”

“Spare me, Addison. I was the original leader, and they would’ve accepted me had it not been for your ass.”

“No, we wouldn’t have.”

Bishop said, flatly.

“Please, yall have to listen to-”

I rolled my eyes.

“Oh, shut the fuck up, Delilah. You are full of it.”

“Aunt Kim, do you have something to say to your family?”

Addison asked.

“Fuck this family! As soon as I was dismissed, I plotted my revenge. I don’t give a shit about any of you!”

I spat. I looked over at my son before spitting at the ground.

Denice walked pass Addison and punched me in the face. My head flew back and I could feel blood filling my mouth.

“Don’t you ever disrespect him like that again!”

I slowly tilted my head up, a wide smile on my face.

“Ayzo, you going to let your bitch hit your mother?”

Ayzo’s eyes squinted.

“I’m not your son, remember.”

I laughed and shook my head.

“Now that the Jaguars and Reapers are here, Kim and Delilah, you must answer for your crimes. You both have been found guilty in conspiring against your own crew and family. For those in favor to allow them to pay back the family through hard labour say, I.”

Seojun said.

No one uttered a word. Rage boiled through my veins as I snarled at them. I knew it was going to come down to this, but for some reason I thought they’d spare me.

“For those who agree to death say, I.”

Of course everybody agreed. I looked up at my brother and lifted my chin.

“Before I die, at least tell your son the truth about his brother.”

His nostrils flared as he lifted his gun. The last thing I saw was the bullet aiming to my face. I heard delilah scream and another gun shot go off before everything faded to black.
