Epilogue

ONE YEAR LATER

THE WARM, MOIST air hit Chelsey as she stepped out of the private jet.

She could get used to the perks of having Taylor all to herself while they flew around the world.

She stood at the top of the stairs and glanced around her.

Her first glimpse of Singapore was not what she expected; it was better, even if sweat dripped down her back.

Chelsey turned to Taylor and covered her mouth as she tried to contain her laughter.

Taylor wrapped his arm around her waist. “Like it?”

“I love it. I want to see everything and eat all the food and explore.”

Taylor laughed. “How about we take a nap first?”

She leaned against him. “That too.”

“Do you have the list of all your Have-To-Do’s drawn up?”

“Literally and figuratively.” She pulled a book out of her bag. It was the mockup of her newest coloring book: Berry Goes To Greece. “I think the next one in the series will be Berry Goes to Rome.”

“Sounds amazing.” Taylor kissed her on the top of her head. “Out of all my travel buddies, I know you’re going to be my favorite.”

“I’d better be your only favorite, Mr. Compton.”

“You’re my only favorite, Mrs. Compton.”

Goosebumps rose on Chelsey’s arms when he called her by her new last name.

She hoped she never got used to it—even though she’d practiced it a million times in her high school notebooks—and she knew she would never get tired of the way her stomach collected butterflies every time her husband kissed her.
