Chapter 2
Keyshawn St. James
“One more, baby. Let me give you one more nut, and I’ll let you go on your way,” my man said to me, as he was at the foot of the bed, while I lay at the bottom, feeling like I was getting ready to pass out at any given moment now.
Major got in from New York a little after four this morning, and along with all the gifts that he came toting for me, he also came with the dick that was going to kill my ass one day.
Since he woke my ass up at four in the morning to let me know that he was back, the only thing that we’ve been doing is fuckin, and sleeping.
I didn’t do any of the things that I had planned for today.
I was supposed to do some of my Saturday cleaning around the house.
I wanted to wash my hair, do a treatment, and style it, since I was going out later tonight with my sisters.
One of my nails broke in the middle of me fooling around with him, so now I had to make some time to also swing to the nail salon and get my nail fixed.
“Major, no. I need to get up. I have to get the hell up,” I said to him, dragging myself from the bed, and standing.
I couldn’t look at him for too long because if I did, I would be jumping on his ass again.
I was smitten with this man. Absolutely, out of my mind, and crazy in love with him.
At times, I even shocked myself with my feelings because I didn’t think that there was another man besides Grim that could have me feeling this way.
If anyone knew me, and Grim, then they would know that I was out of my fuckin mind when it came to that man.
I would chew the food out of his mouth. Grim was a hood dude, but God, he loved me so beautifully.
He gave me two beautiful children, and when I had our first son, I watched the way his love for me grew deeper.
When he was taken from me, it was a heartbreak like none other, and I told myself that I would never love again, and even if I loved again, I didn’t think that I could love a man even close to how much I loved Grim.
Major came along, and he proved me wrong.
I gave Major hell from the start. I was out with my sisters one night at a lounge, and he boldly brought his ass over to the table trying to talk to me.
I turned him down right in front of everyone.
Not because he wasn’t good looking or anything, but even with it being years later since I lost Grim, I still wasn’t in good mental standing to want to date.
When I say for a whole year, Major was on my ass, and he wouldn’t take no for an answer.
This man sent his mama to get her hair done by me, and everything.
The thing is, he wasn’t begging for a relationship with me.
He just wanted friendship out of me. Friends is what we started out as.
He was that one person that was always there for me. He took things slow with me.
Having him around, where he always knew what to say when I wasn’t feeling my best is what made me fall in love with him. I could no longer live and punish myself, feeling like I couldn’t move on, and accept love because of what happened to Grim.
“Alright then. Come here,” he called out, removing the covers from himself, and he turned around, so that he could sit sideways on the bed, and plant his feet on the floor.
I walked my naked body over to his big, muscular frame, and the second I was close enough, I wrapped my arms around his neck, while his hands held onto my ass, looking me in the eyes.
This man was so beautiful. His chocolate skin was perfect. Those moments when we’re lying in bed together, I like to lay my head on his chest, run my fingers through his beard, as I gaze up at him, issuing compliment after compliment, letting him know how fine he was.
It was that bald head, and beard combo that made me weak.
Those white teeth. His built. Granted, I wasn’t the biggest thing anyways, but the way he could just pick me up, and toss me around…
it was so attractive. Outside of physical, it was also the way he treated me.
Major was a big, tough dude, running a seven- figure business, so he was used to being the boss, and ordering people around, but whenever he was around me, he was nothing but a gentle giant.
I wasn’t always the easiest to deal with. I go through a lot of emotions, especially when I think about some of the people that I lost in this life. Mainly, my son, and Grim.
Major knew how to handle me when I started going through those sad spells.
Then, it was the way he would spoil me. The money that he put in at my shop, doing a full revamp, and remodel of it.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars from him went into my shop.
The car he purchased me. Any time he took a trip, he would bring something back for me.
Our relationship was great. I just wished that him, and Riot could have a great relationship too, but my girl wasn’t trying to give him a chance. I wasn’t going to rush her, either. I figured that she would do it on her time, but with Riot, you never really knew when that time was going to be.
“You love me?” he asked, his question melting my heart.
“I do. I love you so much,” I was telling him the truth. He really got me out of some dark, depressing times, and for that, I loved the hell out of this man.
“I love you too, baby,” and just like any other time that he would say those words to me, I melted in his arms.
I leaned in, so that I could place kisses on his lips, and as he was picking me up, placing me in his lap, you could hear the loud roar of a car, and my phone started buzzing on the bed at the same time.
I glanced over at my phone, seeing that there was motion detected in my driveway. A black, G- wagon was pulling into the driveway. I knew that car belonged to Dolo, so seeing that, I removed myself from the grip that Major had me in, and I took a step back.
I was a woman that lived with severe PTSD from losing loved ones, and I had very bad anxiety.
You couldn’t just throw new information on me.
You had to tell me when something was getting ready to happen because if not, I would freak out and think the worst. Seeing Dolo’s car pull into my driveway, had me quickly putting a call in to Riot, placing the phone by my ear, waiting for her to answer.
“Ma, I’m outside,” is how she greeted me.
“Okay, what happened? Is everything okay? I thought you were going to West Palm to meet Dolo’s family. That was quick,” I spit these things out quickly, heart racing, still not understanding why she just popped up.
Don’t get me wrong, I loved it when Riot came over because I felt like I didn’t get to spend a lot of time with her, but I was only freaking out because I felt like bad news was coming.
“Nothing happened, ma. Damn. I hate it when you do that. You immediately freak out and start thinking the worst. I see you got your nigga’s car in the driveway.
You want me to come back when he leaves or something?
” she shot, asking me, making me roll my eyes at her.
Sometimes, I really wanted to strangle her ass.
“Riot, when the fuck have I ever told you to come back when Major leaves? You know the code to the door. Key it in and just wait for me to come downstairs. I have to take a quick shower,” I firmly said to her before hanging up the phone.
I tossed the phone on the bed, putting my hand on my hip, as I looked at Major, who had his eyes on me, looking as if he was confused.
“You good?” he wanted to know.
“Yes. Riot’s getting ready to come inside. Something happened. That girl never pops up on me like this. Plus, she was supposed to be meeting Dolo’s family. I hope she didn’t go over there and do something crazy. I need to hop in the shower,” I let him know.
“Handle your business with Riot. Ima come back later,” he said, and I made a sad face, like I didn’t want him to leave.
“Major, you just got here. Why you trying to leave already?” I whined, looking at him as he shot me that award winning smile.
He stood up from the bed, and the only thing that I could see on him was that big dick that was standing tall.
“I don’t like to stick around while Riot is here because I don’t want to make her uncomfortable.
As a man, I just can’t do that to her, you know?
I know how that shit feels to have your mama move on.
I been there. I had to go through that when my parents divorced, and I had to accept the new nigga that she was with, against my better judgement.
Ima just leave for a couple of hours, head to the crib, handle some business, and I’ll slide back over later before you go out with your sisters,” he let me know.
That was typically how Riot’s and Major’s relationship was. If my daughter knew he was here, she wouldn’t come. If Major knew Riot was coming, he would leave.
“Alright,” was all I said, knowing that I needed to get a move on, so that I could shower, and head downstairs to see what Riot had going on.
I quickly walked into the bathroom, and I started the water.
While it was warming up, I grabbed my shower cap, placing it on my head, and Major came inside the bathroom while I was doing that.
He had his clothes in his hands. He sat them down on the counter, so that she could do a quick wash off.
Before I stepped into the shower, I hugged him one last time, kissed him, let him know that I loved him, and I went ahead to the shower, where the water was scorching hot, just how I liked it.
I won’t lie, my shower was quicker than usual. Even though Riot made it seem like it wasn’t anything heavy that led her to my house, I knew that it was. I knew my daughter. Knowing this, I was thirsty to get around her, and see what was going on.
