18. Chapter 12

Kaylynn

The words that come from my father’s mouth hit far harder than I anticipated, making me feel vulnerable.

‘ They were supposed to just use you, and toss you to the side when they were done. ’ And there it is, coming from the man I learned to hate all these years.

False beliefs that someone could actually love me, hits me hard.

“You piece of shit! You are supposed to be my dad, my father .

You're nothing but a lowlife, piece of shit, abusive drunk.

No wonder mom didn't stick around after I was born.” I scream at him.

I am hyperventilating and starting to have a panic attack.

I feel myself holding my breath, Mathew walks over to me, and holds my hand.

His touch sends tingles of electricity up my arm, giving me the strength to pull through the panic attack.

“Get him out of here. Just take him away!” I scream.

I can't keep looking at him while Tommy punches him in the face. Yet, some type of satisfaction washes over me. For all the times he pushed me down, for all the times he rubbed my face into that forsaken brown, crunchy carpet. He deserves far more than that, and he knows it. Being dragged out by his hair, I throw my head back and cry out a laugh, or laugh out a cry, I truly can’t tell which.

Only my life would be this twisted, and complicated.

When have I ever been given an easy so called ‘normal’ life.

“Don't overthink things, Kay. He will never hurt you again. You have our word.” Andrew says.

I sink back into myself, and I have the need to go home. I need my things, and by things, I mean my little black bag. “You are all dismissed.” Zach says to the onlookers.

In all of the chaos, I had momentarily forgotten they were all here. Great . More witnesses to the disaster that is my life.

As the place starts clearing out, Andrew and Mathew come to untie the hemp rope that was laced around my wrists, and then untie my ankles.

Rubbing my wrists that are now free, I sit up, pull my knees in and hug them into my chest. Once everyone has left, the guys take off their masks.

Andrew steps up and pulls me into a hug.

“Sweet baby Kay, it's okay. Things will work out, you'll see.” He gathers me into his arms, and as he carries me away, I curl into a ball and tuck into him.

In any other circumstance, I would have declined or made a big fuss about being carried because I've always had an issue with my weight, but not right now.

“Stop, your weight is not a problem, nor will it ever be. Trust me when I say, I want to lick and suck, every part of your juicy body.” I lift my head up and look at this man in awe, my mouth hangs open.

Andrew leans down and places the gentelest kiss on my forehead.

My mouth immediately snaps closed causing a snicker to leave him.

Glad to know I'm funny now. “No baby, not funny, cute.

You're just so cute.” Wait, how does he know…

.. “Oh that? It's part of the pack mate bonding.

Don't worry, you can still have thoughts to yourself, you just have to learn to close off the links.

There are only very few reasons why you wouldn't be able to close it off, mostly in times of need.

Unfortunately, or fortunately depending how you look at things, we will always know if you're hurt or in any kind of need.” “Wait, we are bonded for life?” I blurt out in shock.

“Yes, forever and ever. You are ours; we are yours.

Over time, you'll figure out everything.

Now, let's go get you a bath, get you fed, and off to bed!” “And why exactly should I trust you guys? Why should I let you feed me, especially after what has happened?” I question him.

“Well, in the end, it's your decision, but I would strongly suggest you just take the easy route with us. We are never going to intentionally hurt you in any way. If you make this hard, you will be forced to eat and sleep. Or you can trust us, and we will make this a pleasant experience.” With little to no fight left in me, I decide to not argue with him, for now.

And before anything else is said, the moment is interrupted by my tummy grumbling.

“See, you're hungry, anyways.” He says, with a sly smirk.

“Fine. What about my house? Am I going back?” “NO!” Four voices bellow out to me, but I only see Andrew.

Where did the other voices come from? “Kay, this is your new home. We will go over to your old house later, so you can pack whatever you want. If you need anything, let one of us know, and we will get you everything you need.”

As we get to a door, Andrew turns the knob, and curiosity immediately gets the best of me.

I look around the room, taking in how beautiful and colorful it is.

It’s filled with all kinds of colors I would actually pick; greens and yellows, along with pinks and purples.

The rainbow has always made me smile. As we stroll further into the room, Andrew takes me towards the bathroom.

When we enter the bathroom, he places me on the edge of the bathtub.

Drawing the bath water, he throws in a bath bomb, and it fizzes and pops, releasing the scent of orange cream into the air.

As the scent calms me, he picks me up again, placing me into the perfect water.

Closing my eyes, I lay my head back against the spa pillow.

The tub is so big you can fit me and the guys in it at the same time.

Keeping that in mind, I sigh as the jets hit all the perfect places.

Andrew grabs the shampoo bottle. “Oh, I can do that.” I lower my eyes, trying to grab the shampoo bottle from him.

“Oh, no you don't, and you will never have to do this on your own again.”

As he lathers the shampoo in my hair, I start thinking about how no one has ever done anything like this for me, ever.

Feelings of completeness fill my heart. Everything just feels so right.

When Andrew finishes up cleaning and rinsing my body off, he towel dries my tangled hair, and then I get wrapped in the fluffiest white towel I have ever felt.

His big arms wrap around my upper chest, and hug me closer to him.

“Let's get you some clothes, then I'll take you to the kitchen to meet the staff. If you ever get hungry, you can either go down to the kitchen, or call from your phone, which by the way, is in the night stand, beside your bed. Also, all important numbers have been programmed into it.” Not sure if it's the ‘Oh’ on my face, or the linky thing, but his smile reaches his eyes. “You got me a phone? I’ve never had my own phone.” I say, with tears in my waterline.

“I know, and I'm not speaking for just myself, but for all of us, when I say that you will have whatever you want or need. Just ask, okay?” His lips brush my forehead, feathering kisses across my skin. Feeling like I’m some cherished gift, I snuggle further into him, and the towel.

He releases me and walks over to a chest of drawers.

“Clothes are in your drawers and closet. We will place out what we would love for you to wear, every morning.” He quickly returns and places a set of clothes in my hands, before he winks.

“I'll be right back to get you. Make yourself at home.” He says, as he walks out of my new room.

A girl can get used to this.
