23. Chapter 17

Tommy

Kaylynn's body starts shaking as we all can't help but growl in regard to what was said about our Queen.

I'm already attached to her, even though she looked me in the eye and lied straight to my face.

I still love her. I will get our girl to trust me, even if I have to do it in a different way.

I grin at my thoughts. “Father, do not talk like that about our mate.

Or I'll make sure this time your head is decapitated from your body, before I burn it. Then I’ll bury your ashes, just to make sure you're gone for good.” Zach is not having this shit tonight.

“Shut up boy.” He smacks him across his face, causing Zach's head to whip backwards.

Blood drips down his lip and he licks the wound.

“I'm the one in charge here!” Our father yells out.

“Eat shit old man.” Zach spits out before he tears his shirt off of his body.

He circles around the other hooded figures.

He raises his fists as hair starts to sprout along them and long talons extract around his knuckles.

He's now in his hybrid form, which is his favorite form to take when dealing with enemies.

We all have a preference as to how we take care of our enemies.

I like to go in between full form and human, deciding when it's a good time to take out my blades, and slash my prey from ear to ear.

I love watching them gag on their own blood, and then turn back into a full wolf, so I can then drink up all that blood, and tear my teeth into the fresh flesh, feasting on their body.

He circles back around, but our father knows his tactics.

He swings around with a blade, stabbing at Zach, but Zach rolls, groaning as he lands against the wall.

“Playing dirty as usual.” Zach taunts, his laugh sounding menacing.

I feel a commotion behind me, seeing more men move in, moving around in all black trying to make it harder for us to see what's going on.

My eyes change to their wolf form, giving me better sight.

‘Protect our mate’ gets thrown in my head over and over from my wolf, almost as if he knows something I don't know will happen.

He starts to thrash around, and a deep frustrated growl slips from my lips.

No one plays games with us. I take one of my blades in my right hand, launching it and striking one guy in the neck.

His blood starts to spray out, covering the room.

I take the other blade in my left hand, turning, I launch it into another man's eye. The tendons and muscles are hanging out, while his head is pinned to the wall. My wolf claws come out, striking left and right. Blood covers my face now, and I smile out of happiness. Father has always been an evil man, so I guess we should have been ready for this. “Father, is this how you treat your sons?” I mock, trying to rile him up. “Be quiet, if you know what’s good for you. All of you.” Father commands.

Coming up to Kaylynn, my father pulls out a chain and wraps it around her throat.

Her breathing starts to come out in slow shallow pants, while she gasps for air. “Let... Me...Go.” She barely gets out.
