34. Chapter 28 #2
Loud club music plays out around us, “He’s so sweet, I want to lick the wrapper.
” I hear someone say, but I cannot pinpoint who with all the noise.
Girls come down in cages that rotate up and down.
Stripper poles sit in the very middle in different sizes.
Some move in circles, while others stay still.
Girls are climbing up to the very top, and other girls stay on the stage, just dancing.
Men swarm the edges, cheering and waving money at them.
The lights are so dim that I can only make out small fragments of the scenery a little at a time.
Licorice, bubble gum, peaches, strawberries; the scents are so amazing that I lick my lips and my tummy rumbles.
“It’s the Omegas, Kay.” Tommy rubs circles under my sweatshirt. “We’ll order your food here.”
“So, I’m like an Omega, right?” I blurt out the question. Ever since I found that out, I have been so curious as to what it all means.
“You're an Omega who doesn't shift, yes.” He answers.
We walk further into the building, lights strobing around us, music still plays through the loud speakers.
There are lots of doors on either side of us with signs on them that say “Private.” At the very end, it opens up to a large room, with a table and chairs surrounding it.
They look like those very nice, expensive black leather chairs.
I must be tired, because all I want to do is sit down and curl up in one.
“Shut up, Evan.” I hear a female’s voice. I look over and see a redhead on her knees, she’s wearing a red bikini top with red bottoms pulled down, and her skirt pulled up.
“Ohhhh!” I’m so shocked by what I see that I don’t even realize that I made a noise.
“Evan, I told you that people were coming here.” The woman says as his dick flops out of her mouth.
“Does it matter Little Red? You know you love this just as much as I do.” The man, who I assume is Evan, says.
“Fuck you, Evan.” The red headed woman remarks.
“Too late, baby. You’ve already fucked us all, haven’t you?” Evan smiles.
I don’t mean to, but I can’t help but look down, seeing that he has some kind of metal sticking out of the tip of his dick.
I look over at Tommy, and Tommy just growls.
“Fucking put your shlong away, dude. We have my mate in the room, if you forgot.” Tommy pops out his knife, and starts spinning it.
Evan laughs. “Chill man, you know Little Red is all I want.”
“Yeah, if she doesn’t kill you first.” Tommy replies.
“You got a point there.” Evan fixes himself, and zips up his pants. “Sorry, where are my manners? Welcome to Eye Candy. Everyone else should be showing up any minute.” He says without moving from his current position.
During Evan welcoming us, the woman, Little Red walked out, but then she re-enters holding her arms out to me.
She comes up and gives me a big hug, squeezing me tightly.
“Hi! Everyone calls me Little Red, and I am guessing you’re Kaylynn?
” She looks me over from head to toe. “Wow, you really are something. I never thought that your pack would’ve landed such a beauty like you. ”
"A beauty like me?” Everyone turns to face me.
“Do your mates not tell you how gorgeous you are every day, because I am telling you right now, you are beautiful, and I never would have thought that such brutes would've been mated to such a beauty like you. You’re so fucking special, and one day you’re gonna realize that.”
A tall man walks up behind Little Red and lifts her up, spinning her around. He kisses her, then places her back on the floor.
“What do you think you’re doing here tonight?” He asks her.
“What does it look like? Whatever I want, like usual.” She sasses back. He slaps her on the ass and she giggles. This is truly the kind of love I want. You can tell there’s something there, without even knowing them.
“Evan.” Zach comes up behind me, reaching out his hand to shake Evan‘s. Andrew comes in next, shaking Evan‘s hand. They both drop a kiss on my temples, and then they take places around the table.
“Everyone else is almost here. Go ahead and take a seat while we’re waiting for them. Would anyone like a drink?” Evan asks, playing the host so nicely. The man who picked up Little Red sits down at the table. “Sit down Kay, we won't bite.” He extracts his fangs.
“Sid, stop fucking around!” Evan shouts over the music.
“Fine man, I was just having some fun.” Sid winks at me, and my Alphas growl.
Four more men show up, and I immediately look down. Really, it’s just so natural, but I don’t know why I do it.
“Now that we are all here, let’s get to business, yeah.” Evan says, making eye contact with everyone. “Shipments are missing, and the demand is outstanding. We can't keep up. We really need those shipments, if you want our men to keep pushing Syrup.”
“Our father has something to do with it, but we just aren’t sure what it is exactly yet.
He kidnapped Kay from us, and locked her up in a coffin for a week.
We had no way of finding her, even though we were all over the city.
You know how deep our contacts go, so he’s definitely doing something, and we need to figure it out now.
” Zach clenches his jaw. “To be honest, the biggest thing that we need to figure out is why he just showed up to my office with her today. I mean, I’m very thankful, but that’s just not like him.
He only does something if it serves him. ”
Evan slowly looks at the table. “Where did Little Red run off to? Sorry she’s been into trouble lately. Foxes, you know how sly they can be.”
“Little Red, I get it now. Wait, no one told me there are foxes too.” I slap my hand over my mouth when I realize I was not thinking, but talking out loud. “I’m so sorry, I was not trying to be rude.” I drop my head down instinctively.
“None of that.” Mathew carefully lifts my chin.
“Instincts are normal, don't beat yourself over that. As far as being rude, you're not. You're just curious, because you have been hidden from this world and never given any chance.” Mathew’s voice is so quiet, I don’t think anyone else heard him but me.
I lift my head to see the others smiling.
His words touch my heart. I have so much to learn and so much to see.
“Thank you.” I mouth, and he nods and tucks a stray piece of hair behind my ear. He lifts up my chin, and kisses me like no one has kissed me in front of anyone before. His tongue finds mine, as we intertwine together. His glasses slip down his nose and I push them back up.
“You look so hot when you wear these.” I wink and lick my lips. Laughing internally. My flirting definitely needs some work. Mathew takes his thumb, running it across my lip, “later Kay baby.”
“To answer your question, yes there are many shifters in our world. Plus add in some other unworldly characters.” Evan smiles so genuine at me, I can’t help but smile back.
“As we have talked a little before Kay, there are seven societies. We are on top controlling this world of misfits, if you will.”
A crash rings out from the front of the club with shouting and yelling. Dishes shatter, and six chairs slide against the floor.
“Excuse us.” Evan gets up and leaves with the other guys.
“We better help.” Andrew says, getting up to also leave, along with Zach, Tommy, and Mathew in tow.
Slowly getting up, I follow my guys through the hall. What I see before me is comical, at least to me it is.
Little Red is throwing a temper tantrum, throwing glasses, bottles, really anything she can get her hands on. “Do you know who I am? I can very much well do as I please, and you are not my daddy, sir.” I laugh at her little side remark.
“No, but I sure as hell am.” Sid comes in, scoops up Little Red, swatting her ass, and that’s when she becomes even more infuriated.
“Don’t touch me, you neanderthal." She says, as she’s swatting his back.
“Yeah doll, you say that now, but later you will be begging this Neanderthal.” Sid responds to her.
I practically choke on my own spit.
Andrew comes to my side and rubs my back. “You’ll get used to all this.” He whispers in my ear. I just nod my head in agreement.
“What do you think you're doing, Little Red?” Evan speaks over the music.
“Dancing! What else would I have been doing? I was just about to take off my top, when that body guard you insisted on follow me, stopped me.”
My eyes look over, and Andrew snickers, turning to look at me. My cheeks darken to a cherry red. ‘Oh shit. What a brave woman she is. I want to be more like her’, is all I can think of.
You are brave. My Omega says to me in response. Yeah I guess.
I look back over my shoulder, noticing everyone going back to the room with the table and chairs. Sid walks off with Little Red, as she continues to bang her fists against his thick rippling back.
“Don’t worry about her, she loves to stir up trouble. She definitely knows what she’s doing.” Evan assures me.
I wonder if I caused a little bit of trouble, if that would work on my men. I eye each one of them, and they all seem to know my thoughts.
“When you play with fire, baby Kay, you get burned, remember that.” Andrew caresses my cheek. Somehow my insides love this thought. I mean, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to stir up the guys and get a little more out of them. My mind starts wandering over ideas, as the guys talk business.
Honestly, I’m lost in everything they’re talking about, and I really don’t care about this Syrup shit.
Maybe I should though, I mean what does it do?
Why do others love it? What’s it used for?
I think it’s time to figure shit out! Will I ever be able to shift, or am I some hopeless lost cause?
I hate feeling like I’m a burden to others.
I want to show everyone I’m capable of doing things myself.
I don't need anyone to take care of me, but me!
