Chapter 41 Mona
The mattress sinks beside me, the weight of a body pulling me from sleep.
I blink slowly and roll toward the warmth, suddenly remembering I’m in the nest—I’d avoided it since that disastrous attempt at channeling visions, but something about tonight had drawn me here, like my body knew where it belonged.
While we were putting the bedroom and nest back together—blankets and pillows tossed, drawers turned open—Silas explained how they’d searched every corner of the rooms looking for me.
When I tried to apologize again, he pressed his finger to my lips, shaking his head.
Silas wouldn’t hear of it, just helped me clean before climbing into bed together.
Silas is always my sanctuary. Even though my omega senses the shadows he carries inside him—not because they’re dark, but because they’re his—something has shifted in him since we returned. He's a little lighter.
I can’t pinpoint exactly why—maybe it’s whatever happened with Deidre that he still won’t tell me about, or that the ordeal is over, or because our pack is finally complete.
Maybe it’s all of those things. Or maybe it’s just time.
It can blunt the sharp edges, and eventually, with time, his pain will feel less acute.
And he has his brothers to lean on. And me, always.
I fell asleep and noticed, physically, for the first time in a long time, I felt great.
And I had plans.
Which I must have been dreaming vividly about because they’re at the forefront of my mind the moment Grayson wakes me.
“I’m sorry, honey, go back to sleep.”
The muscled bulk of his thighs through the thin gray sweats catches my attention.
Fresh from the shower, yet that unmistakable cinnamon-and-campfire scent of his alpha still clings to his skin, wrapping around us both.
I reach out from beneath the blanket, my fingertips tracing a deliberate path across his leg.
He makes a low sound in his throat. “You don’t seem very sleepy, mate.”
I laugh softly, shaking my head against the pillow. “I missed you.”
The blanket slides away as he lifts me, settling my weight across his thighs. “I missed you too, Mona. Every second without you feels wrong, and I’d keep you right here forever if I could.” His lips quirk up at one corner. “But I know if I tried to tie your ass to my side you’d throw a fit—”
“Rightfully,” I gripe.
“Rightfully,” he concedes with a half-smile. “But remember this—no matter how busy you get with your other mates or your Luna or omega duties with the clan, just know that I’m always here when you need a place to land, always here, waiting for you to come home. I won’t clip your wings, baby.”
My fingers tangle in his hair as I shift in his lap, claiming his mouth with mine.
I tug at the leather tie holding back his dark strands.
Orion enters the nest, freshly showered, moving quietly as though expecting me asleep, yet unsurprised at finding me wrapped around Grayson.
I reach toward him, and he bends to meet me, his kiss gentle as his fingertips trace the line of my jaw.
Chocolate and hazelnut, a perfect combination.
Beside us, Silas stirs from sleep, pushing himself upright while Ghost lingers uncertainly in the doorway.
“You coming in?” Silas asks him.
“I, uh… I wasn’t sure…” he scratches the back of his neck.
Oh, Ghost. Aurelio. My sweet, nervous mate. When I glance at Grayson, he gives me a knowing smirk, his wink telling me the decision is mine.
I extend my hand toward Ghost, beckoning him closer.
“Come here, Ghost,” I say boldly. His gaze stays locked on mine as he crosses the room, hesitating only briefly before approaching the foot of our enormous bed.
His oceanic scent flushes into the room like a tide—salt-kissed air and sun-warmed driftwood mingling with something deeper, more primal.
It carries the unmistakable ancient nature of both his halves intertwined, the magic prickling across my skin.
Ghost’s shoulders remain rigid, his fingers flexing at his sides, but if he’s nervous about all of us together, it doesn’t stop him from moving closer.
“I know how much you like to learn, Ghost. They can teach you,” I whisper, crawling toward him, off Grayson’s lap. “If you’re ready to learn how to share?”
His nostrils flare, golden eyes glowing with hunger. He swallows audibly. Silas slides up beside me, his lips brushing my cheek as he says, “Come on, Ghost. You’ve already seen my cock do wicked things during Mona’s heat in the woods. Since we’re already acquainted, how about I show you?”
A muscle twitches in Ghost’s jaw as he looks at Silas. But then he gives a single, quick nod.
Silas leans down and licks the side of my neck all the way up to my ear, making me shiver. “Let’s teach newbie how it’s done, yeah?”
I moan into his kiss as Silas’s fingers find my nipple, rolling it between thumb and forefinger until it hardens to an aching peak.
Heat pools between my thighs as Grayson adjusts his position, his breathing already ragged as he leans back to watch, still close enough that I can feel the heat radiating from his skin.
Orion drags a chair closer and takes a seat, his eyes darkening as he works himself over his sweatpants, gaze traveling hungrily over my exposed skin. When our eyes meet, the corner of his mouth lifts. Orion likes to watch, too.
Silas rises, his firm grip steadying my hips as he positions me. In one swift motion, he guides me and Ghost onto the mattress, pushing me on top, so my inner thighs straddle Ghost’s hips.
I trace my fingertips down his chest, feeling his heart hammer beneath my touch as I hook my fingers under the hem of his shirt. Ghost works free of his pants with nervous hands, while I pull his shirt over his head.
He really is an absolute specimen. Beautiful, beautiful man.
Silas reaches around me from behind and grips my knees, pulling them further apart so I open wider on Ghost’s lap.
Silas’s voice is low, but still playful. “Ghost, let me see—”
“Aurelio,” he interrupts. “Call me Aurelio.”
Something shifts in the energy between them. Silas nods once, acknowledging the gift he’s been given. Permission to use his name is more than just the use of it. It’s trust, respect, and even the implication of permanence. Like he’s really not going anywhere.
Silas leans closer, his breath hot against my skin. “Aurelio,” he says, “show me Mona’s slick. Show me how wet she is, how much room she’s got.”
My heart thunders against my ribs, each beat pulsing between my thighs, in my clit.
Ghost—Aurelio—devours me with his golden eyes, tracing every curve of my body.
I arch my back instinctively in offering.
When his fingers finally brush against my slick folds, the contact sends electricity crackling through me, making me spasm with pleasure.
“Jesus,” he rasps, barely restrained. “You’re dripping.” I roll my hips shamelessly against his fingers, urging him to slide deeper.
“Nuh-uh,” Silas tsks, hands coming to my hips to steady them in place. “Be patient, pet.”
“But—”
Orion leans across the bed from his perch in the chair.
“Give me some of that sweetness,” he murmurs.
His long fingers slip inside me, curling upward.
His fingers come away shining in the low light.
He brings the web of slick to his lips first, tongue darting out for a taste, before he pushes the tops of his sweats down, pulls out his straining cock and wraps his hand around it.
The chair creaks as he sits back, powerful thighs spread wide, stoking himself with deliberate, torturous patience, making his forearm flex with need.
With each stroke, his gaze remains locked on mine, unwavering.
“You ready, pet?”
I nod frantically, peeking over my shoulder at Silas. I’m so ready it actually hurts. There’s a pinching inside me, deep and aching, like I need to be filled and nothing else will do.
Aurelio’s trembling fingers dig into the soft flesh of my thighs so tightly I think they might bruise.
Silas lifts and guides my hips while Aurelio releases my thigh and wraps his fingers around his thick, hard length, a pearl of cum already glistening at the tip.
He positions himself at my entrance before Silas slowly lowers me down.
I squeeze around Aurelio’s cock as I sink down, and his eyes roll back, sweat gathering at his temples.
“Holy shit. Mona. You feel so—I can’t believe this is real.
” Aurelio leans forward, capturing my mouth in a kiss so loving, it has me laying down vows.
His cock fills me to the hilt, and both his hands return to my thighs, digging in with a punishing claim, as if he needs to anchor himself.
Behind me, I feel the unmistakable brush of Silas’s arousal against the curve of my ass. I turn to find his eyes dark with hunger, lips parted, a bead of sweat trailing down his neck as he watches where Aurelio disappears inside me.
“Got room in that tight cunt?” he purrs.
I laugh, the sound melting into a moan as Aurelio rocks inside me, hands still tight and possessive on my hips. I whisper, “You ready to share me, mate?”
Aurelio’s eyes squeeze shut, muscles tensing beneath me. When they open again, they’re feral, desperate. “I’m so fucking ready,” he growls, the vibration rumbling through his chest into mine.
Silas presses his chest against my back, spreading my trembling thighs wider. Grayson takes hold of my knee, lifting one leg up and open while Silas positions himself at my entrance, the thick head of his cock pressing against my sensitive, already full pussy.
He presses in alongside Aurelio, stretching me impossibly wide. The burn makes me curl my toes as I gasp for breath.
