Chapter 22
Warm muscular arms were wrapped around Bailey as his eyes started to open. Now he was looking into beautiful blue eyes and a smiling mouth he had to kiss. He loved waking up with Matt so much. He loved Matt, but he hadn't told him.
Bailey was going to do it right after Matt said it, but he didn't get a chance to. Last night Matt kissed him and then told him, "Don't say it back. Say it when you're ready. I don't want to push you."
Matt hadn't pushed him. Hearing those words from him was amazing. Every time he thought of that moment, Bailey got giddy. Matt deserved to hear that he was loved too, but Bailey wanted him to believe those words, to know they came from the heart.
So he didn't say it back and now it hurt to think that he didn't get the words out. He was a step behind and he needed to catch up, to share how he felt with Matt, to give himself to him heart and soul.
The resort had a pretty outdoor cafe with an ocean view, palm trees in pots and flowering vines climbing the trellises. They ate a breakfast of eggs with pancetta and avocado that Matt devoured. Being a good boyfriend, Bailey had to let him have some of his while he sipped his excellent coffee.
After that, they spend the day on the beach. They lounged on the sand when they weren't swimming as much and as far as they wanted. When they video-called with Joey, Bailey told him they were just lying around on the beach. He didn't approve.
"Lying around? Daddy, do something fun," Joey urged him.
"Being with Matt is all the fun I need," Bailey told him.
Leaning over his shoulder, Matt told Joey, "We don't know how to have fun without you, my guy. We're grown ups. You'll have to show us."
"I will," Joey promised. "Gwen and I are having fun. We know how."
After the call, Bailey did wonder, "Maybe we are being lazy. Do we need to do something more exciting?"
"Nah," Matt told him and pulled him down to lie in the sand. "I like being lazy with you. And there is that party on the pier tonight. We can make up for it, dance all night."
For dinner, Bailey was having poached salmon in a buttery, wine sauce and also plenty of wine. "I dance better after the right amount of wine," Bailey said to Matt who didn't exactly keep up with him.
He was having spicy grilled shrimp over sesame noodles and loving it. "You think I can make this?" he wondered.
"I don't see why not. You can do anything," Bailey told him.
Once Bailey had the right amount of wine for some unselfconscious dancing in public, they went to the pier where there was a party and a concert.
A band was playing and the air was filled with tropical rhythms. When people started dancing, Matt and Bailey joined in.
Matt moved beautifully and Bailey didn't know how he didn't drag him away from prying eyes to have him all to himself.
They danced as long as the band played then strolled over to their bungalow. Barely inside, Bailey cried out as Matt pushed him up against the wall, unzipped his fly, kneeled in front of him and sucked him off like he wanted to suck the soul out of his body.
"Had to do that, had to have you," Matt gasped afterward as he hugged Bailey's legs. "But I wish I got you naked first."
Bailey was rubbing Matt's head, the back of his neck then he pulled him up to his feet to kiss him and grope him.
Matt had been in too much hurry, but he was getting Bailey out of his clothes now.
Walking him backwards into the bathroom, he was stripping him as they went, running his hands all over him like he was savoring what he missed.
They kissed and Bailey got Matt out of his clothes while the tub filled up.
As Bailey climbed in right after Matt did, he shivered at the heat of the water then sighed with satisfaction.
It was a beautiful night. The moon was out and the view from the huge bathtub showed them the moonlit ocean and the stars in the sky.
Bailey had ordered champagne for them to sip while they shared the big tub. They sat on opposite ends and Bailey held his champagne glass in one hand, and with the other he rubbed his hands over Mat's feet and his muscular legs.
"Come over here," Matt told him.
Turning, Bailey moved to sit with his back against Matt's chest. Matt drank a sip of champagne then set his glass down.
"I need my hands free so I can do this," he said and now his hands were all over Bailey, caressing every part of him under and above the water.
"All that dancing with you made me crazy. "
He caressed and stroked Bailey until he almost had him coming again, but then he stopped. "I'll wait until we get into bed," he said.
"Why do you love teasing me?" Bailey asked.
"Because you look hot when you're all needy and desperate," Matt said with a grin.
He did make Bailey wait until they were in bed then he plowed him without mercy while he had him face down on the mattress. They both came with loud moans. "I told you you made me crazy," Matt growled in his ear then kissed the back of his neck.
"I can't even tell you how you make me feel," Bailey said as he turned over with a groan so he could gaze at him.
"You can tell me," Matt said with a cajoling smile.
Bailey ran his hand up Matt's beautifully muscled arm. Cupping his jaw, he told him, "I guess you're letting me say it now. I love you, Matt. I love you so much."
Matt blinked. "Damn. Damn. I was afraid of this. I feel like you just grabbed my heart in your fist."
"And I'm not letting go," Bailey told him and kissed him lovingly.
The next time they did it, they made love slowly, lovingly, taking their time. But when they came, it was still explosive, like a thunderstorm unleashing.
