Volunteer-y Kisses (pt. 2) #3
I’d noticed that these two had gotten close over the last couple of weeks, but I wasn’t aware that they had gotten this close.
I felt an overwhelming sense of joy for Winter, because I knew how she felt about Autumn.
I felt like I was getting an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the beginning of a love story between those two.
It was adorable, but I also didn’t wanna come off as weird for staring, so I motioned for Kay to follow me.
Right as we made it halfway down the hall, the sound of a door slamming made us turn back around.
When we did, we saw Winter frantically walking away from the room before disappearing around the corner.
Kay and I shared a look of confusion. Not long after, Autumn exited the room as well.
We quickly ducked into my classroom again to avoid being seen.
“Damn, I wonder what happened,” she asked, and I shrugged, not really knowing what to make of the situation either.
“Every time I see them around, they both look so smitten with each other,” I admit. “You think maybe Winter got cold feet?”
“Like you?” She smirks. Now it was my turn to roll my eyes.
“Oh, look who’s talking,” I laugh. “It took you years to admit your feelings for me. Heck, we both took forever. Can you imagine how different things would’ve been had we just been honest with each other off jump?”
“Yeah, we would’ve been married by now,” she smiled, grabbing me by the waist and pulling me against her chest. Her hands traveled down to my ass as I smiled up at her. “Serenity would’ve always been mine then.”
“She’s always been yours,” I whisper, staring deep into her eyes. “You’re her Mama Kay, just like you’ve always been, and it’ll never change.”
“I know,” she nods. “But I also want you to know that once we get all of this settled with Sasha, I’m…no, wait, I need to ask this when we’re not ducked off in a room in the dark.”
My heart skipped a beat because I felt like I knew exactly what she wanted to ask me. The answer would be yes. It would always be yes, but I didn’t wanna rush her into saying what she wanted to say. I was going to let her tell me whenever she felt the time was right.
So, I stayed quiet and took her hand when she reached for me and followed her out of the classroom.
We said goodbye to people as we passed, and soon we were in her truck, making our way to the new restaurant.
We were sitting at a table in no time. After our drinks and food were ordered, silence settled around us for a moment before she finally spoke again.
“About what I wanted to ask earlier…” she starts, and I nod, encouraging her to continue.
“I, uh, I wanted to ask you if you’d be okay with me officially adopting Serenity as her second parent once all of this with Sasha is over.
I know you always say that I’m already her second mom, but I really want that to be official.
I mean, I know we don’t need a piece of paper to tell us that we’re a family, but I want that more than anything.
” She paused, taking in my expression, but I could barely control the tears as they fell.
She reached across the table to take my hand in hers, and I let her.
She smiled sweetly. “I really do want to marry you, love, and I can’t wait until the day comes when I can make that happen.
You think you and Sera are spoiled now, just wait until you have my last name. ”
“What? You don’t want mine?” I tease, using my free hand to wipe my tears. She chuckles as she gets up and slides into the booth beside me.
“We can be Morris-Collins but just know that once you attach that Collins to your name, you’re entitled to everything I own, and I’ll gladly give it to you,” she assured me with a satisfied grin. “I’ll give you whatever you want. Always.”
“Oh yeah?” I ask, and she nods. I lean closer to her, wearing a smirk of my own. “Well…” I place my left hand on her thigh, and that look of hunger flashes across her eyes. “What if I wanted something right now?”
“Talk to me, mama,” she licks her lips. “Tell me how I can make you happy.” I shiver as she gently cups my chin in her left hand. She pulls me closer until our lips are only an inch apart. “Hm? What you want, gorgeous.”
“I only want you,” I whisper right before she kisses me softly.
One kiss leads to another, and soon, she’s pulling away and placing a few bills on the table.
She quickly stands, taking my hand in hers and guiding me out of the restaurant.
My head was spinning from the desire that was building in the pit of my stomach, and I couldn’t tell you how I managed to make it back to the truck. She made my knees go weak.
By the time we made it back to my house, we’d barely made it through the door and locked it behind us before she was helping me out of my jeans and hoisting a leg over her shoulder.
All I could do was hold on to her head as she ate me out until I was creaming all over her tongue.
I was delirious, but I knew that I wouldn’t be satisfied until she had me every way she wanted.
The night was still young, and I had plenty of energy to go around.
And I planned on utilizing every bit of it.
