Chapter 1 Sworn Enemy in High School
In high school I had a brief net romance. It was very sweet.
Every day I just looked forward to chatting with him after school.
Before a month passed we were discovered by my parents.
My parents and the homeroom teacher took turns persuading me.
A good guy and a cabbage are both easy to pick from.
Don't pick sesame seeds and lose the watermelon.
I took it in and honestly broke up with him.
I pretended to be sincere in regret and cried as I asked who had ratted me out.
I would definitely thank him properly and pull me back to the right path.
As expected it was Xie Yiran.
Our two families lived across the street from each other.
We were childhood sweethearts.
But we had a bad chemistry that made us argue whenever we were together.
I couldn't stand his careless playboy attitude.
He mocked my temper and called me a tiger mom.
After that I cursed him out even more.
Then I cut off all contact unilaterally.
We were both good students.
My parents hoped we would go to the same university for support.
After the college entrance exam scores came out I directly changed my major to a university in the south.
Now I was north of Xie Yiran and we were separated by ten thousand eight hundred miles.
It was good.
I had high hopes for university life.
But nearly a year passed and I only saw a few handsome guys.
I added everyone else and it was just rotten melons and split dates.
After a few sentences I planned to go out and spend the night.
At first I tried the net romance guy.
The soulmate I had talked to every night till midnight suddenly changed girlfriends several times in quick succession.
I thought it was a pearl soup.
But it was just fermented tofu and some rotten cabbage leaves.
It was really not as good as I thought.
Everyone said the best love only happens in youth.
But why did my youth have no suitors?
Only a never-ending pile of homework and my sharp-tongued sworn enemy.
I had at least been nominated as school flower.
Was this fair?
