21. Clint

CHAPTER 21

Clint

S ometimes, I want to just fucking punch Landon. He’s grinning at me, ass naked, his punch-drunk expression giving away the orgasm that just rocked him. Fuck him.

I growl, moving forward. “Move.”

Landon laughs, getting up from the bed. “You good, man?”

“I watched both of you. Twice,” I snap. “Now you watch me.”

The idea of them watching me makes me… surprisingly aroused.

I’ve always been a private person. I don’t exactly let anyone close, even my closest friends. But I want them to watch. I want to share this moment with them. And, of course, with Nora.

I’m naked now, too, and I move over to the bed. Nora is still on her hands and knees, but this is not how I want her. I want to put on a fucking show, same as they did when I watched.

“Darlin’, move to the left a little,” I say.

Nora obliges, shuffling slightly. I lay down, stretching out so that my head is on her pillow and my legs hang off the end of her short bed.

“I want you on top,” I say to her.

Nora’s eyes widen. “Clint…”

I don’t let her respond. I put my hands on her waist and tug her up, until she’s straddling me. Slowly, she settles in. From this angle, I get the best view. Her beautiful breasts. Her tight stomach, that leads down to…

Nora sighs, moving herself up slightly. She presses her entrance against the head of my cock. Tipping her hips back, she slides down.

“Fuck,” she pants. “From this angle, you’re so big, Clint.”

In the corner, I hear Shane grunt. I look over, and I smirk. He has his cock in his hands, staring at us.

Good. Now you see what I had to deal with. Asshole.

“Take it slow, darlin’,” I murmur. “You’re doing so good.”

“Are you—” Nora pants as she takes another inch. “—using the horse voice on me?”

“Good girl, Nora,” I say smoothly.

She laughs, and the movement makes her slip another inch down. We both groan. She’s so fucking tight around me, it’s everything that I can do not to explode right now.

“Touch me,” she begs.

I do. My hands come up to cup her breasts. My fingers skate over her nipples. She throws her head back, and I know that she needs more.

“Landon,” I snap. “Touch her.

Landon obliges. He kneels on the bed right behind her.

“You can take him,” he says into her ear. His hands move, roaming her skin. His lips move over her neck, pressing a trail of kisses as his hands cup her breasts.

I grunt. She’s distracted now. It’s fucking working. Nora slides down further, until she’s fully seated. When her pelvis hits mine, we both hiss.

“You’re so fucking perfect, Nora,” I murmur to her.

She nods. Feebly.

“Darlin’, can you move?”

Nora tenses. Her strong legs tense, but they’re shaking. “I…”

“You got this,” Landon encourages her. He steps off the bed. I put my hands around her waist, ready to move her up and down. She tenses her legs again, and I flex, lifting her slightly.

“Oh, shit,” she whispers. “Do that again.”

I do. Between the two of us, we have a rhythm. I flex my arms, moving her up and down along my length. She works herself up and down on me, the moisture leaking from her and oozing down my body. She’s so fucking hot right now. Her head is thrown back, her chest exposed. Every time I slam her against me, her breasts jiggle.

Yeah. I fucking like that.

“I’m so fucking close, Nora,” I grunt. I can hear Shane and Landon in the room, assuming that they’re feeling the same way. But right now, I’m all about Nora. And she’s all about me. “Come again for me, Nora.”

“I… I can’t…”

I slide one of my hands down her front, pressing against her clit. I bounce her on my hips, thrusting up frantically, trying to find that spot that will send her over the edge.

I know the moment I hit it. The vice grip Nora has around my cock increases, squeezing me so hard that I almost feel like it hurts.

“Clint!” she shrieks.

That’s what does it for me. I groan, pumping myself into her. Nora gasps, and I feel her tighten again.

“Oh, fuck,” Shane moans from the corner of the room. “Fuck, man. I think you made her come again.”

That’s how it’s done, motherfuckers.

Later, Shane heads back to the Wild Spur to get the cameras. Landon is downstairs, fucking around in the kitchen or something. Judging by the smell, I think that he’s making bacon, which probably will be nice, eventually.

But Nora and I are still in the bed. I’m holding her. She’s wrapped around me, her fingers idly combing out my beard.

I’ve never felt so relaxed. Ever.

Nora moves her head to my chest. “You really thought I was going to leave?”

I tighten my arms around her. “Yeah.”

“Why?”

I take a breath. “You know that I basically grew up with Shane, right? My dad worked as his dad’s trainer. Ran the reining and racing programs. ”

“You told me that, yeah.”

“The reason that we spent so much time with Shane and his family was… my mom left us,” I whisper.

Fuck. I don’t know that I’ve ever actually said it out loud. Somehow, the words feel… dusty. Like they’ve been waiting inside of me for too long. But once they’re gone, I feel a hell of a lot lighter.

Nora leans up, her chin on my chest. She doesn’t say anything. Instead, she waits.

“My mom left me and my dad. She said that she didn’t want to live the life we had, I guess. My dad told me after she left. That she wanted something fancier. Something different. Something that didn’t revolve around horses and ranching.”

“But she didn’t to begin with?”

I shake my head. “I don’t know,” I say hoarsely. Fuck. I don’t really want to cry right now. I wait a couple of minutes until the tears that claw at my throat feel like they’re not there anymore. “I know, though, that she went back on her word. She made my dad feel like she would be okay with that life, and then…”

“She lied,” Nora says simply.

“Yeah. She lied to him.” And to me.

“God, I’m so freaking sorry, Clint.”

Nora’s blue eyes are looking up at me, and I look to the side. “Yeah. Well.”

“So you thought that as soon as I knew about how you planned to buy my ranch, I’d leave.”

“I didn’t think you’d be happy about it,” I grumble.

Nora sighs. She presses a kiss to my chest before looking up at me again. “Just because I’m not happy about it doesn’t mean I’m going to leave, Clint. If I love someone, I’m in it to win it. I don’t walk out on people like that.”

I nod, looking down at her. “I can see that.”

“I was mad. I said some things that I shouldn’t have said.”

“Yeah?”

She wrinkles her nose. “Yeah. I think you probably got the wrong impression when I said something along the lines of ‘don’t ever look at me again.’ ”

“That did do it,” I admit.

Nora laughs. “Sorry. I really am, Clint. I don’t want to fuck things up like this again.”

I shuffle. “Neither do I.”

“So. How about we agree, no more lies?” she says.

“Never, Nora.”

“And you won’t try to steal my ranch from me?”

“Darlin’, you couldn’t convince me to buy this ranch if it was the last one available.”

She rolls her eyes. “Okay, well. That seems like a little bit of a dramatic statement.”

“If this was the last ranch on earth, I still wouldn’t buy it. If there was a zombie invasion, I’d make sure that the zombies could have the ranch over you selling it?—”

“Clint!” She slaps her hand across my chest. “That’s plenty!”

“What, you want me to buy the ranch now? Nora, you have to pick one…”

Laughing, she cuts me off, her lips brushing against mine in a kiss. When she pulls back, I tuck her hair behind her ear. “I know you said you were falling in love with the other guys, and they said it, too,” I murmur.

She tenses. “Clint, you don’t have to say anything you don’t mean…”

“I don’t, Nora. I never say anything I don’t mean,” I say seriously.

Nora’s blinking up at me. My heart is in my throat. I feel like I’m standing on a ledge right now, teetering on the side of a canyon. What I’m about to say could change everything. Inside of me, the part that’s been guarded for so long winces.

Don’t say it. Don’t give her any reason to hurt you. Don’t…

Fuck it. Fuck that voice. I’m not worried about Nora doing something that would hurt me. I’m worried about doing something that would hurt her.

My fingers go under her chin, and I pull up her chin. “Nora Foster, I love you.”

There. Same as telling her about my mom—once the words are out of me, I feel better. Lighter. I continue. “I’m not just falling in love with you; I’m fully fucking in love with you. I think I fell for you when you tried to fight off my biggest stallion all by yourself, to save that old-ass gelding?—”

“Gunter is a great horse,” Nora interrupts.

“To save Gunter,” I correct, “who is a great horse. When you sat and screamed in my face. When you came to our house to tell us off.”

“You seem to have a thing for me when I yell at you,” she comments.

I laugh softly. “Apparently, I do.” Looking down at her, my face straightens. “I’m serious, Nora. I love you.”

“Clint… I love you, too.”

I shut my eyes. “You don’t have to say it if you don’t mean it.”

“I know,” she says.

I open my eyes. Nora leans up, scooting slightly so that our faces are even. “I love all three of you. And I love you, Clint. Come hell or high water. Nothing’s going to change that.”

When she presses her lips to mine this time, it’s more than just a kiss. It’s a promise.

And I’ll be damned if I ever break it.
