Most likely there were purses in a bedroom that would have cash, since cards were too risky.
It wouldn’t hurt to take a quick peek at least before she scurried off.
Instead of taking the servant’s stairs down, Lisa made her way down the hall to the first door she could find, discovering it was a large linen closet.
She huffed in disappointment, closed it, and moved to the next, opening it to reveal a bedroom.
Lisa flushed with excitement, left the door open a crack so she could hear if anyone was coming, and hurried in.
The bedroom was sparsely furnished, with a well made bed, a large TV on a dresser, a closet, and a bedside table, telling her that this was meant to be a guest bedroom.
Quickly she did a sweep of the room but there wasn’t anything in the dresser or bedside table, same with the closet, not that she was surprised, and she stepped back out into the hallway, closing the door behind her.
Hopefully I hit pay-dirt soon. Lisa wondered, knowing that every wasted moment meant that someone might come looking for her. She hurried down the hall to the next door and opened it a crack, letting out a squeal of pleasure at what she saw inside.
It was a study of some sort, and the pale moonlight revealed that the walls lined with shelves filled with books of all shapes and sizes.
A desk sat on one side of the room and two open doors lead to a small balcony overlooking the beach.
Thin white curtains billowed in the wind, and Lisa could hear the waves outside.
Best of all, in the wall behind the desk was a very sturdy looking safe.
She licked her lips with anticipation as she eyed up the solid looking metal safe door set in the bookshelf and then stepped into the room and closed the door behind her.
As she stepped towards the safe, Lisa realized that her safe cracking skills were…
pretty minimal. She had spent time with some folks who had experience with it, and she knew how to open one in theory, but never practice.
This safe also looked like it meant business, and given how loaded the Percy’s seemed to be, it made sense that they would buy the best safe money could by.
Standing by the desk, Lisa rubbed her chin and eyed the safe, considering her next move.
Cracking a safe took time and concentration, two things she didn’t have at the moment.
Lisa turned to the desk, knowing it was a long shot but perhaps there was something in there that could give her a clue to the combination.
By the light of the moon coming in through the window, Lisa did a quick survey of the top of the desk, but didn’t find anything of interest beyond a closed laptop, basic office supplies, and bills and invoices.
Then she opened the top drawer, revealing a hand gun sitting on a stack of papers.
She froze for a second seeing the gun, then relaxed, after all, what was it going to do, go off?
Still, something about that gun, just sitting there, for easy access, made her wary.
It at least confirmed her suspicion that Mr. Percy wasn’t who he seemed.
The gun and the safe told her that he was a man with a lot of secrets, and dangerous.
She closed the drawer with the gun and onto the next drawer.
What she saw inside almost had her gasp.
This drawer had a length of rope, and a black cloth that she could only assume was supposed to be a gag.
Her jaw clenched. Mr Percy definitely was not who he seemed.
Lisa was moving to the next drawer when she heard footsteps outside and froze.
Shit…
She stood perfectly still, listening as the footsteps grew closer, recognizing the sound of heels on the floor beyond. Perhaps it was Mrs. Percy coming upstairs for something?
Keep walking, keep walking… She willed whoever it was outside, hoping they would just keep going past the study.
The sound of heels grew louder, and closer.
Lisa’s heart was pounding and she felt a cold sweat running down her body.
Instinct told her to grab the gun just in case, but she shook her head and told herself to stay calm.
Grabbing the gun would only escalate things.
The heels stopped just outside the door to the study, and Lisa’s heart did a somersault in her chest. Instinct kicked in and she grabbed the gun from the top drawer and her eyes raced around the room, looking for anywhere to hide.
The balcony!
Hopefully there was no one outside that would see her, and she hurried across the room, gun in hand, and stepped out into the night as she heard the door opening.
Lisa pressed herself flat against the wall and held her breath, listening as someone stepped into the study and closed the door behind them.
Her hands gripped the gun for dear life, ready if someone stepped out onto the balcony and made a problem for her.
It’s fine, relax, it’s probably Mrs. Percy getting something.
Outside, the breeze was warm, and she had a fine view of the beach and ocean beyond. It was quiet outside beyond the sound of the waves, meaning there was no one around, for the moment. She turned her attention back to the study, hearing the heels as whoever it was paced the room.
Suddenly a thought popped into Lisa’s head, could Lucy know how to open the safe?
It was a risky venture, forcing Lucy to open the safe at gunpoint, but one that could pay off. After all, Lucy could open the safe, then Lisa could bind and gag her with the rope and cloth she found in the desk and hurry off. Once they found Lucy, Lisa would hopefully be long gone.
The heels had stopped and Lisa continued to stand against the outside wall, listening, debating on if her plan was a good one. It would completely destroy her “slip away into the night” strategy, but then again, there was no way she was ever just disappearing unnoticed.
She decided to risk peeking into the study, see what Lucy was up to in there. If anything, maybe she could learn something else of value. Lisa leaned out slightly and peeked through one of the open doors, hoping that the thin, billowing curtains would hide her.
The inside of the study was still well light by moonlight, but instead of revealing Lucy, Lisa was surprised to see Domina, her red skimpy dress vibrant in the cool moonlight.
The dark skinned woman was leaning over the desk, looking through one of the drawers.
At first Lisa wondered what Domina could want in the study, but maybe Mr. Percy just sent her to retrieve something?
Then there were voices out in the hallway.
Lisa held her breath, hoping that it wasn’t more coming to join Domina, but then she watched as the other woman bolted up, her impressive cleavage heaving up and down with each rapid breath as she listened.
Lisa perked up at the sight, not because Domina’s cleavage was incredibly pleasant to look at (it was) but because of how on edge the other woman was.
She didn’t want to be found out either.
Part of Lisa wanted to see what Domina was up to and why she was sneaking off behind her boss’ back, but she also knew she couldn’t pass up this opportunity, and hefted the gun.
Domina’s eyes were still on the study door as Lisa bolted from her hiding spot and marched out into the study, bearing down on Domina with the gun leveled at the black woman’s head.
“Don’t move.” Lisa hissed, holding the gun steady and stopping on the other side of the desk.
“What the…” Domina stammered, her mind not catching up to this latest development.
“Don’t move and keep your mouth shut.” Lisa sneered, keeping the gun aimed. She was an old hand at this, being no stranger to holding people at gun point.
To her surprise, Domina cracked a smile and chuckled.
“Oh this is great.” Domina rolled her eyes.
“I think so, now turn around and open that safe.” Lisa gestured with the gun to the safe.
“Precious, just fucking precious.” Domina sighed.
“I said –” Lisa began, but then Domina snapped into action. It was too fast for Lisa to react, but Domina grabbed her wrist and twisted. Before Lisa could blink she had dropped the gun into Domina’s waiting palm.
Lisa cried out as Domina then proceeded to twist her arm behind her back, but before she could utter another cry, Domina’s free hand clamped over her mouth.
“Ummmph!” Lisa grunted, and tried to twist out of the other woman’s grip, but it was like Domina’s hands were magnetized in place.
“Mmmmph mmm!” Lisa moaned, trying to power out of Domina’s hold.
“Grrrmm!” She cursed. Even though Randy had her do work outs, her strength had decreased during her captivity, after all, Randy only wanted her to look strong, not be strong.
“Shhh, shhh, shhh, just be a good girl.” Domina whispered in her ear.
“Urrmmmm!” Lisa grunted, trying to elbow the other woman, who anticipated the move and shifted to avoid the blow.
“I think it came from here.” A voice from the hallway said.
“Urr rmmm!” Lisa moaned
Lisa felt Domina stiffen behind her, and then footsteps approached directly outside the door. Domina moved instantly, and was pushing Lisa towards the balcony as the other woman continued to struggle and pull.
“Mmmmm mmmph!” Lisa cried, trying to use her free hand to pull Domina’s hand away from her mouth, but Domina didn’t seem fazed at all by the resistance.
In a moment, they were outside on the balcony and Domina had pulled Lisa against the wall, back to the hiding place she had originally been in.
“Hmmmm mmmm!” Lisa grunted, still trying to pull free from Domina’s grasp.
“Hush, this will be over soon.” Domina whispered in her ear.
Lisa ceased her struggling, not sure what her next course of action was. Even if whoever had heard her could help, odds are they would just get Randy involved, which would bring Lisa back to where she was, his prisoner.
Still with her hand over Lisa’s mouth, Domina peeked through the curtain and into the study, and Lisa followed her gaze. Lucy and Mr. Percy stood in the door way to the study, looking in.
“I guess it’s nothing.” Mr. Percy frowned, turning his head.
“Wait, what’s this doing out?” Lucy said and stepped into the room.
“Hfff…” Lisa breathed into Domina’s hand, seeing that the blond woman was referring to the gun, now sitting on the desk. Domina tightened her grip on Lisa’s mouth.
“Shh…” Domina whispered.
