Chapter 66
KC
“No, we’re not.” Ajani is moving her hands quickly behind her back, sawing back and forth until the zip tie breaks. Her index finger shoots up to her mouth. “Shh, we only have a few minutes before they figure out how to get rid of me and come back.”
I look down at her hand, noticing her bracelet is open, and a sharp blade is affixed to the middle. “Holy shit.”
“Everything’s going to be okay, KC. I need you to focus on your breathing, okay?”
I nod at her. Praying to myself that we make it out of this situation alive. Brittney was right; I should’ve been more careful with my posts on TEASE.
“Right about now, that dumb fuck is realizing how big of a mistake he’s made. He didn’t just take one untouchable, he took two.” She looks at me with a smile. How can she be smiling right now? “And I don’t know how long we’ve been here, but I’m sure Beau and my father’s men are searching for us.”
“Untouchables? I don’t know what that means.”
“When we get out of here, I’ll explain.” Ajani walks over to where I’m sitting and cuts the plastic from between my wrists. “Keep your hands together and hold on to the zip tie. We need them to think that we’re still tied up.”
I place my hands behind the back of the chair, where they were before. “Where do you think we are?”
“I’d say an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. They wouldn't have been able to go untraced if they had holed up somewhere in the city. My father’s men would have found them already.”
“That makes sense. We had to have been drugged. I don’t know what happened. I don’t even remember leaving Darla’s.”
Ajani looks at me, her tone serious. “Stop blaming yourself. We’re in this now, and we are going to get out of it, together.”
“How are you so fucking calm right now? I feel like I’m about to go into cardiac arrest!”
Her face is plain, and she lifts a shoulder casually.
“I’ve always known this could happen. This is inevitable for me.
” She points to my chair. “In my life, because of who my father is, it was always a possibility, and this isn’t the first time I’ve been taken.
Father has been training me since I was a kid. ”
Loud voices start to echo from behind the closed door before it opens.
Two men walk in, one big and one smaller, no masks to hide their face.
I know what that means. They don’t plan on letting us out of here alive.
You can tell from their masculine builds that they work out.
The smaller guy is rolling in a tall, rusted barrel.
The big one is carrying a hand saw in one hand and a plastic tarp in the other.
Once they get inside, the big guy shuts the door.
The smaller guy opens the barrel and pulls out a jug of fluid.
“Fuck, you’re pretty.” The big guy walks over to Ajani, stroking her chin. “Carter’s daughter… Shall I make you cry while I fuck you raw?”
Ajani laughs. “I’m not scared of you, dipshit. Are you sure you can get it up without all the screaming and tears?”
The bigger man backhands her across the face, the crack echoing off the walls. He grabs the back of her head, shoving her nose into his crotch. “I’m already hard, baby.”
The other man is laying out the tarp and yelling at his friend. “Let’s just get this done. I don’t want to be here any longer than we have to. Lorenzo will come for the other one.” The man stares at me. He’s got thick eyebrows, dark hair, and black eyes. Pure evil.
“Well, we’ll fucking make time!” The man in front of Ajani starts to unfasten his belt. “Let’s fill your pretty mouth up with some Italian meat.”
“I’ll bite your fucking dick off.”
“If you do, I’ll slice your friend’s throat. Make you watch her bleed out. You’ll know it was all your fault.” His friend walks over beside me and pulls out a long blade.
Ajani stares at me for a moment before looking back at the psychopath in front of her. “Fine.”
“Film it.” He hands his phone over to his friend, who tucks the blade back in his waistband and grabs the cell phone to start filming.
The big guy pushes his pants down to the floor, freeing his hard dick. “Now, be a good girl, and suck daddy’s dick. I’ll even let you taste the filling.”
Ajani smiles up at him and slowly starts to lower her mouth to his dick. At the last second, her right hand whips across his upper thigh, slicing him, fast and clean.
“What the fuck? You bitch!” His thigh is pumping blood out fast. I bet she got him in the femoral artery; he won’t have long.
He falls back into the wall, and then his body slumps to the floor.
His friend runs toward Ajani. I trip him, and he falls hard to the floor.
Ajani runs over to him, kicking him multiple times in the stomach; there’s blood everywhere.
I look down at her boot and see a blade poking out of the tip, covered in blood.
She walks over to him and slices his throat with her bracelet blade.
Then, Ajani walks over to the big guy, whose pants are still down, and he’s mumbling incoherently.
She leans down and gets in his face. “I mean, it’s not a very impressive dick.” Then she cuts his shaft off at the base.
Holy fuck, there’s so much blood everywhere; it’s circling the drain.
I wipe my face, realizing it’s covered with the blood of our attackers. It sprayed all over me.
“What’s going on in there?” A man shouts before the door opens. Ajani runs up from behind him and latches her body onto his upper back, wrapping her legs around his waist. Her hands grab his chin, and in one swift motion, she snaps his neck.
Oh my god. I don’t think I’ll ever get the sounds or images of tonight out of my head.
The eyes and mouths of the dead men are wide open, and blood continues to coat the floor, swirling down the drain.
“Holy shit, Ajani! I feel like I just witnessed a scene from John Wick in real life!!!”
“Eh, I prefer the Ballerina movie.” She wipes her blade on her pants before snapping the bracelet back together. Ajani isn’t fazed at all by the fact that she just took the lives of three people. She just stomps her boot, retracting its blade.
“Do you hear anyone else?” She studies my face.
I shake my head. All I can hear is my pulse racing and my stomach gurgling. “I think I’m gonna be sick.”
“Don’t look at them.” Ajani grabs my hand and leads us out of the room.
I let her lead me, instead of asking her how many times she’s killed before, knowing that she may have just saved our lives as we know it.
Ajani and I quietly search the place. Once we know that no one else is here, Ajani goes back to the dead men, retrieving a phone off of one of them.
“Let’s get the fuck out of here.”
And then we run.
