Chapter six

SIX

Max and Ellis moved more quickly and pulled on their briefs and shorts in a few seconds. Ellis tossed Greyson’s shorts at him, and they landed on his bare ass.

Greyson rolled onto his back and pulled on his shorts. Max kicked Greyson’s wet boxers into the pile of discarded shirts. Greyson lay on his back, looking at the sky. Max sat next to him and put a steadying hand on Greyson’s bare chest.

“False alarm?” Greyson asked, hopefully. He didn’t bother to look; he trusted Max and Ellis to take care of it.

“Unfortunately, not,” Max said quietly. “It’s a couple, they’re close.”

“I’m going to die,” Greyson lamented. Max looked down at him, amusement on his face.

“They’re almost here. You should roll over,” Max murmured. Greyson glanced down his body. His cock was rock hard, an obvious tent in his shorts. He looked at Max, who was sitting strategically, with one knee bent to conceal the front of his shorts.

Greyson rolled onto his front and shoved his hand into his waistband to adjust his dick into a less painful position. He could still feel where Max’s fingers had been inside him.

He heard footsteps crunching on the ground. Greyson looked up to see a young couple step onto the deck. They looked to be in their twenties, and both wore stylish athletic clothing.

“Afternoon!” The man said. The woman stepped onto the dock and looked over the deck at the water.

“How’s it going?” Max asked.

“Been swimming?” The man asked, looking at the pile of discarded clothes. Greyson could see his wet boxers peaking out of the pile of shirts, socks, and shoes.

“It’s not too bad if you wait until you’re hot enough,” Ellis commented. The woman sat down on the deck and swung her sandaled feet into the water. She pretended to shiver.

“Icy!” She said.

“Want to jump in?” The man teased.

“Sure, you go first,” she said. Greyson dropped his head to the deck and closed his eyes. He was afraid that if he made eye contact with Max or Ellis, he’d lose his mind. He wanted these people to move on. What if they didn’t? What if they decided to go swimming, and Ellis and Max left?

“I think I might be getting too much sun,” Ellis said.

He pivoted around to the pile of clothes and pulled out a shirt.

Greyson saw him glance at the couple to make sure they weren’t looking before he took Greyson’s boxers and stuffed them in the pocket of his shorts.

Greyson’s chest loosened a little knowing his boxers were out of sight.

“Throw my shirt over here?” Max asked. Max’s shirt flew over Greyson’s head, and then Greyson’s shirt landed on his back.

“Want to finish the hike?” Max asked. Greyson pushed himself to a seated position and hid his erection, which had barely softened. He pulled on his shirt.

“Might as well, the shade will be nice,” Ellis agreed. Greyson scooted himself to his shoes and socks and resigned himself to his fate. The fun was over; it was time to go home.

The man and the woman sat side by side on the deck. They were still teasing each other about who was going to jump in the water first. Ellis finished putting on his shoes and reached down to offer a hand to pull Greyson to his feet.

“Have a good walk!” Max called as they stepped off the deck and onto the path. The couple looked up from the water and waved. Greyson checked his pockets for his keys while internally cursing his bad luck.

Greyson followed Max and Ellis down the path.

Max had his t-shirt slung over his shoulder, and his back muscles flexed as they walked.

Both men’s skin had a pink hue from the sun.

He felt like a dumb sidekick walking behind them.

He planned to get on the path towards his car as soon as possible before the situation became even more awkward.

When they came to the fork in the path, Greyson veered off in the direction of his car. He got a few steps down the trail before he was hauled backward by the scruff of his t-shirt.

“My car’s this way…” Greyson protested. Max pushed him off the trail, and Greyson walked backwards into the woods.
