Chapter 3
Michael
“Michael.”
I turned from my desk when I heard my name. Roman Drake, a chemistry teacher, was leaning on the jamb of my open door. He had an intense look on his face, but in the short time I’d come to know him, I realized that that was his whole vibe. Intense. Serious and focused.
“Hey, man, how’s it going?”
He nodded at me, his face impassive. “Are we still on for tonight?”
Shit! I forgot that I’d invited him round for dinner.
Roman had approached me on my second day working at this school and introduced himself.
He was friendly enough, although there was a part of me that thought his mannerisms were a bit forced and calculated.
But I was short on friends, living in a new town and starting a new job, so when he offered to take me out for dinner, I suggested he come around to ours instead. He seemed eager to take me up on that.
“Yeah, of course. Roast chicken and potatoes okay with you?”
“Sounds good.”
His hand came up to rub the back of his neck, and it suddenly occurred to me that maybe when he suggested dinner, he meant dinner. Did I just agree to go on a date? I wasn’t attracted to Roman… wasn’t attracted to anyone these days except a dark-haired brat who was wholly inappropriate for me.
“Uh…just so you know, my daughter Lucy will be home and having dinner with us. She’s a student here. I hope that’s okay?”
His nose flared, and he licked his lips. “That’s perfect,” he rasped.
And just as fast as he appeared, he was gone again without even a goodbye. Weird. I was having second thoughts about inviting him around, but it was too late now.
I rubbed my tired eyes, yawning widely. I’d been up late most nights packing away our things, trying to make our new house feel like a home.
I worried constantly about whether I was doing the right thing by taking my daughter away from her friends and family.
It was her senior year and so she’d be graduating without the kids she grew up with.
And then it was off to college afterwards.
It was a big upheaval for her. For both of us.
But what had me tossing and turning most nights—well, every night—was the aching hole in my heart whenever I thought of Dina.
I could still recall the scent of her pussy, the sound of her moans, and the feel of her body and lips beneath mine.
Visions of that brief moment in paradise imprinted itself on my sleeping and waking thoughts.
I missed her. I fucking yearned for her.
I'd tried to see her before Lucy and I left. Tried to tell myself that it was the guilt of leaving her abruptly that had me seeking her out. I just wanted to check that she was okay and that I hadn’t physically hurt her.
So I called around to her house under the guise of visiting her mom, Claire.
She’d borrowed my mower and was going to return it before Lucy and I left.
I needed to see Dina. If only to breathe in the same air as her, for possibly the last time.
But she wasn’t home. So I left Koby Plains without catching a glimpse of her.
I’d decided to leave it. It was for the best anyway. I resisted texting her or even looking up her social media. It fucking killed me to give her up, but I knew I had to.
Until this afternoon.
I was driving my daughter and me home from school, my mind already on the dinner ahead and what to prepare, when Lucy casually dropped that Dina had a date.
A murderous red haze fell on me like an executioner’s sword. My hands tightened on the steering wheel as I fought the strong urge to pull a U-turn and peel off towards the highway. Back to Koby Plains.
It was then that I knew I had been kidding myself.
I knew the chances of her meeting some schoolboy douchebag were high.
Dina wasn’t only gorgeous, but also kind and smart.
But she was far away from me; out of sight and out of mind.
I didn’t have to think about her dating if she was no longer a part of my life.
But at the mention of her upcoming date, and the reality of Dina out with some young punk-ass touching her, kissing her, and possibly more…it almost had me swerving again as jealousy simmered in my gut, ready to explode out of me. If I’d been alone, I would’ve punched my steering wheel in fury.
Did Dina really think she could forget about me that easily? By going out on a date with a boy? Absolutely not.
I side-eyed my daughter who was happily texting away with her best friend. The urge to snatch her phone out of her hand and read their text thread was strong. But, instead, I clenched my jaw and forced my concentration back on driving.
I’d deal with her later.
Michael: Luce mentioned you have a date.
I placed my phone down, but left the screen on. Like a fucking thirteen-year-old, I was waiting on tenterhooks for Dina’s response. I forced a smile at Roman, well aware that I was being rude at the dinner table by glaring at my phone.
“Andy Barker invited me to a Friday night drink thing with some of the other teachers. Do you attend?” I asked him, not really caring one way or the other.
Roman peeled his eyes away from across the table, his expression annoyed at my question.
I glanced at Lucy, who was busy cutting into her chicken, a small blush on her cheeks.
Shit. I wasn’t thinking when I invited Roman over for dinner.
Lucy was in his chemistry class, and I guess it would be awkward for the two of them to interact outside of the classroom.
“The science department has their own thing.”
“Oh. Do you attend that?”
“No.”
Well, then. For someone who'd seemed pretty eager to invite me out for dinner, he sure wasn’t entertaining company.
Just then, my phone buzzed, and I tried not to look too eager snatching it up. I heard the rattle of cutlery hitting the floor, and in my peripheral vision I saw Roman drop down to pick it up. But my focus was on the words in front of me. They swam in front of my eyes with a murderous rage.
Dina: That’s none of your business, Mr Thomas
My hand tightened on my phone before that anger gave way to amusement. Fucking brat.
Michael: We need to talk. I’m calling you later. You better pick up.
I noticed Roman was still under the table and had been for some time. “You okay?”
I winced when I heard a thump, but before I could apologize, a message came through.
Dina: Okay
My blood sang, and I stabbed my chicken, desperate to finish our meal.
After dinner, Roman and I sat in the living room making small talk while we drank coffee.
Well, I was making small talk. Roman sat silently with his jaw clenched and his fist closed.
Now and then he’d glance towards the door with an impatient expression.
Was he desperate to leave? I certainly wasn’t going to stop him.
This whole night had been awkward as fuck.
Admittedly, I hadn’t been the best host, especially since my mind was distracted by thoughts of Dina out with some fuck boy. What if she was texting him now? What if she was flirting and letting him know how much she was looking forward to their date?
Oh, hell no.
Just before I grabbed my phone to call her, it rang in my hand.
Dina.
“Sorry, I have to take this.”
Without waiting for a response, I walked briskly out of the room. I wouldn’t be surprised if Roman chose to sneak out. I didn’t care much if he did.
“Dina,” I breathed as I closed the door of our patio behind me.
Silence met me.
“Dina?” I gritted out again, desperate to hear her voice.
“I-I was waiting for you to call,” she whispered.
Satisfaction coursed through me and I closed my eyes to savor the sound of her words in my ear. “Did you miss me, baby?”
I heard her little gasp.
“No,” she puffed out. “You said you’d call me later. I didn’t want you to call while I was sleeping.” I heard her little indignant sniff down the line, and my mouth tipped up.
But then I was distracted by images of her sleeping. Did she sleep naked or with tiny shorts and a belly shirt? My jeans suddenly felt too tight.
“What are you doing to me, baby?” I groaned, allowing my head to rest on a wooden beam.
“I’m not doing anything. You rejected me, remember?”
“When you were too fucking young!” I ground out, trying to keep my voice down. I never once thought of her that way when she was sixteen. It never crossed my mind. Yet to think that just over two years later I would be tormented by explicit images of her made my head spin.
“That’s why I’m going on a date,” she continued. “With someone my own age.”
I rubbed the spot between my eyes. “Don’t fucking test me, Dina.”
“Why? I like testing you.”
“Dina.” She was driving me to the brink of insanity.
“Do you know the moment I first started crushing on you?” She breathlessly asked, suddenly sounding very bold.
“Dina…”
“You were helping my mom build a fence around our property. You took your shirt off and had these abs.” Her breath hitched. “You were my sexual awakening.”
“Dina…”
“I went up to my bedroom and thought about you all afternoon.”
“Baby, I…” Sweat trickled down my forehead. “I’m not gonna think of you like that, you were–”
“Too young, I know. But I’m not young anymore.” Her breathing was growing more choppy, and I swore I could hear the sounds of wet slurping.
“Dina,” suspicion laced my tone. “What are you doing?”
“Sticking my fingers up my cunt,” she moaned.
My heart leaped and without thinking, I unbuckled my jeans. The sound of the zip was loud as I released my throbbing cock into the cool night air. I started to stroke the long length. “Tell me,” I demanded.
“I’m so wet,” she groaned. “I’m trying to rub my clit, but it’s so slippery.”
“It would be more slippery if I were there,” I growled, my hand moving fast up and down my cock. Pre cum was already leaking and dripping on the floorboards.
“Yeah?” She panted.
“Because your cunt would also be coated with my spit.”
“Oh, fuck,” she moaned, her voice hitching in aching pleasure.
“Don’t come yet,” I ordered. “Tell me what you look like. Tell me where you are and what you’re doing.”
I knew I was risking a lot doing this out in the open, with my daughter and a guest just inside. They could interrupt me at any second now. Unfortunately, that thought did not slow me down.
“I-I’m lying on my bed. My legs are spread, and my fingers are in my panties.”
“Take them off. Spread those pretty legs. Fuck, I remember what it felt like to have my tongue between them. I fucking dream about you every night, baby.”
“I do too,” she gasped. “I think about your hard cock pressing on my thighs.”
I stroked myself harder and faster, using my leaking cum as lubricant.
“Put your phone by your cunt. Let me hear you come.”
The sounds of her wet pussy came through the phone. The rhythm was frantic; wild and desperate. I could tell she was close to coming from the fast sounds of her slick juices. Her sweet little moans echoed in the background, jerking my cock as it spurted more cum.
“That’s it, baby, come for me. Imagine those fingers are my cock and squirt those sweet juices out for me.”
She cried out before the sounds of her pussy faded as she gave way to a long and loud orgasm.
Ropes of cum shot out of my cock and onto the faded floorboards. I bit back my own shout of release as light exploded behind my eyes with the intensity of my pleasure.
I heard her panting come down the line, followed by a loud moan.
“What are you doing?”
“Licking my cum off my phone and pretending it’s your cock,” she mumbled.
My spent dick jerked. “Fuck! Dina...”
I heard a door slam behind me and my mind finally caught up to where I was. Fuck. Lucy. And Roman. I’d been gone for an awfully long time.
“I gotta go.”
“What? Michael–”
“I'm sorry, Dina.” I quickly hung up before I did something stupid.
Like drive back to Koby Plains tonight and fuck her.
