Chapter 2 Izzy #2

This new look was a little too freaky though, so I tried changing myself back to how I’d been before.

As a half-nymph I could change my form, but it took a lot of concentration.

I was able to fill out my body — back to being chesty and not model-thin — and returned my hair to dirty-blond.

But I couldn’t control my ears and eyes for some reason.

Perhaps I didn’t have enough practice for smaller things like that.

I breathed out slowly and let the changes go again, returning to my elven form.

This was going to take a lot of getting used to.

“I can’t go out like this,” I whispered.

“Saldrea already knows,” Koar said from across the room.

“Yeah, but… still…” I traced my cheek and jawline, now much sharper, more defined.

“It will probably be best if you… don’t return to your classes,” Safir said stoic. “At least until you’ve learned to control your features, learned your powers.”

“How long will that take?” I asked.

“Could take months,” Safir said.

Oh, hell no. I couldn’t abandon everything here for months! Though… what I was abandoning was learning about this world and my powers, and I could do that elsewhere, perhaps it wouldn’t be so bad.

Still, what about my friends here? I didn’t have many, but I had Tala and Professor Rheoran and Zora… It would be nice to be able to connect with a woman every now and then. The sausage-fest currently surrounding me was nice at times — especially the sexy times — but not all the time.

“However,” Safir continued. “If you are as much your mother’s daughter as I suspect, then you may learn quite quickly, with a good tutor.”

I grimaced. “Yeah, but where are we going to find an elf to teach me?” Finding a nymph wasn’t a problem, but elves…?

“Not all elves are evil,” Safir said. At the same time Koar spoke over him,

“I may have some friends in the capital who could help.”

The two glared at each other.

The hatred and distrust between those two alphas was going to be a problem.

“As for your nymph side, your grandmother would be your best resource,” Safir said, turning back to me.

I spun from the mirror.

“Grandmother? I have a relative? A living relative? Why didn’t you say so sooner?”

“I was getting to it, but you asked about your parents first.”

I had.

“Your grandmother has been bankrolling this whole operation,” Safir added. “She’s… quite wealthy.”

A rich grandmother. Okay things were starting to look up.

“Well, I guess that’s one thing I have going for me,” I muttered.

“And you have friends, people who care about you and want to help you,” Myel added stepping over to slip his hand into mine, instantly soothing.

“Lots of friends,” Vyns added with a smile.

“New friends,” Koar added, once again getting down on one knee.

“I cannot apologize enough for all the horrible things I did to you. I feel… disgusted with what I did in Saldrea’s name.

I seek only to serve the crown and now that I know you are the true princess, I will serve you with everything I have and everything I am.

I know you will be a far better ruler than Saldrea could ever have been.

I dedicate myself to you: body, mind, and soul. ”

Wow.

“And I accept any and all punishment you wish to give me for my past transgressions,” he added.

Punishment?

An image flashed in my mind of me in a black leather catsuit with Koar naked, on his knees, bound and begging to serve me, pleasure me, please me, his towering erection… was not what I should be thinking about right now!

I breathed out slowly as that vision faded.

“He’s a good man,” Vyns whispered. “I trust him.”

He’d misunderstood my hesitation.

“Ah… yeah… well, we’ll see about all of that. No punishment yet, okay, so… get up.”

Koar did.

“I can think of a few fitting punishments,” Safir mumbled.

“Shut it, old man,” I scolded.

Safir nodded solemnly.

Still, despite the support the guys had shown me — all except Rook — I was completely overwhelmed.

And why hadn’t Rook said anything?

I asked him point blank, “What do you think about all this?”

He sighed heavily and shrugged, reluctantly meeting my gaze. “I’m just a sex demon,” he said with a half-hearted grin. “Not really sure why I’m here.”

Ouch.

Okay, so not friends then.

“Saldrea will soon know Izzy was staying in your room, if she doesn’t already. That makes you an accomplice. She’ll come for you,” Koar said.

“Great,” Rook muttered.

“You’re a part of this, one way or another, incubus,” Safir said, not sounding happy about it. Though, if I understood the old man — and that was still an uncertainty — he was more irritated that too many people knew his secret.

“What’s gotten into you?” I asked Rook directly. “I thought you were my friend?”

“We have sex and I help you out a little, if that makes us friends, then sure.” He shrugged and looked away.

I’d known since we first met, he wasn’t into relationships, but wow, I’d thought we were more to each other than that.

I guessed not.

And I didn’t know why that stung my soul so much. Rook wasn’t bound to me, and I’d never been the type to get attached… so why did I want him to be more attached?

Was that selfish of me?

Probably.

Fuck it. I had too much to worry about without him being a dick. If this is what he wanted, then fine.

I turned to Safir. “So… what’s the plan?”
