Jace
The buzz from the premier is like nothing I’ve ever seen before, and I’ve done so many of these it’s unbelievable.
The movie is number one in the box office and not only is the public raving about it and sharing more social media videos than any other movie in recent years, the critics and press can’t stop talking about it, either.
Pierre’s use of the camera angles, the brilliant cinematography, the storyline, and of course the chemistry between me and Lennox was a trifecta of perfection according to the press.
“There are ten press rooms, you’ll spend ten to fifteen minutes in each one and then move on to the next.
I’m trying to keep everyone on schedule, so I’ll tap on the door when you have a minute left.
The journalists will try and keep you in there, but kindly close out and try your best to keep on schedule.
” Sofia turns, facing us and pins a look at Lennox. “Especially you, Mr. Rome.”
He puts his palms in the air, like he feels personally attacked. I mean, I guess he was. But she’s right, he’ll be best friends with half the journalists by the end of the tour today and they’ll probably call him later to hang out.
I roll my eyes at how well liked he is, even though it’s kind of cute. Sort of.
That is, until we walk into the first room and the interviewer stands with a huge smile. Lennox runs up to him, their palms slap together and Lennox pulls him into a chest bump and some sort of cool bro hug.
“What are you doing here, mate?” he asks the reporter with perfectly cut brown hair and a smile for the camera, not behind the camera.
“I work for London Picturehouse now.” He holds out his arms, gesturing to the backdrop of our Iron Horizon poster cover and the London Picturehouse logo surrounding the two chairs that sit across from him.
“That’s bloody brilliant. Congrats, mate!” He turns, allowing me to step forward and introduces him to me as Frankie, then gives him another hug before he follows me to the chairs.
We sit down in the high directors seats that are set up and I can’t help but mutter when Frankie is turned around talking to the camera man.
“So, touchy feely,” I say, with unintended irritation.
He lets out a playful scoff as he smiles and looks my way.
“Oh, I’ll be doing that all day if I get to see this little jealous streak you have.”
“Lennox.” I grit out a warning.
“Gentleman, thank you for waiting. Shall we get started?” Frankie asks, pulling our attention toward him.
“Absolutely, mate. Let’s talk sex, drugs, and Rock N’ Roll, baby.”
It’s been well over two hours and we’ve been going in and out of different press rooms answering a majority of the same questions over and over again.
The standard ones that come with most movies.
How did you prepare?
How was it working with Pierre Martin?
Did you really play guitar?
But, of course every now and then you get a journalist that wants to get the scoop and has no concept of a filter when it comes to questions about the film. Especially one like Iron Horizon.
“How were the intimacy scenes for the both of you?” Adaline, from The Hollywood Pulse, asks and Lennox glances my way. Probably gauging how deeply he should answer but I also think making sure I’m comfortable.
I take the lead on this one because I’m not certain how honest Lennox’s answer wants to be versus what he should actually say.
“They were like any other scene in the grand scheme of things. We had an amazing intimacy coordinator, Wren Sasaki. Hi, Wren!” I look in the camera and wave as Lennox leans close to me and blows kisses to her through the camera.
“There was constant communication between all of us and what we're comfortable doing. It was just like coordinating one of the stage performance scenes or stunt scenes,” I reply, giving her a very politically correct answer so they can’t dig into anything more.
“Speaking of stunt scenes. How are you recovering from your stage accident, Lennox?” she asks, turning her attention on him.
“Brilliant. I’m healed up, better than ever. You’ll need more than a collapsing stage to stop me,” he answers, playfully.
“Well, it looks like you had a great nurse.” She glances over to me. “You seemed to be very worried about your co-star, Jace.”
My brows pinch naturally together because I know exactly where she’s going with this line of questioning.
“Of course I was. Who wouldn’t be witnessing an accident like that one.”
She hums, not liking my vague answer to her non-question. She looks down at her cards, flipping through them then stops and glances back up to us.
“There was some talk of private rendezvous and late night trailer meetings between the two of you. Of course, with some of the gossip columns that came out with some compromising pictures, it would lead us to assume there was something more going on. Is that true, Lennox?”
He glances down at her card she’s reading from, then back to her.
“Secret rendezvous? Did you make that information up? Because that’s nothing I’ve heard in the rumor mill. Looks like you’re just trying to start one here.” There’s more bite in his response and by the sharper cut in his jawline I can tell he’s clenching his teeth.
“So, what about sexual preferences? Jace?” She asks me first.
Lennox’s brows raise as he looks back at her with a shocked expression. “Does it matter?”
“I think the public deserves to know if there’s something real happening or if it’s just a baiting tactic to watch the movie.”
“We’re done here.” Lennox stands, glances in my direction, and tilts his chin toward the door.
“Mr. Rome—” she calls as we’re heading toward the exit. He spins around, stopping her before she can continue.
“Oh, no need for formalities now, Miss Adaline.” His voice is drenched in annoyance of her name.
“You lost all our respect when you stopped asking questions about the film and focused on your personal agenda. Journalists like you have no space in our schedule and I don’t feel like wasting my breath. Good day.”
He shuts her down quickly, not allowing her to respond.
I’m not sure if it’s his confident energy or the silky depth to his voice when he told her off.
Maybe it’s the fact that he’s sticking up for me, and no one usually does, but his words light a fire in my groin, sparking an explosion of pure lust that runs through my body.
Protective Lennox is making my rational brain completely irrational.
Turning around, we walk through the door and Sofia greets us at the end of the hall.
“You have fifteen minutes before the next interview,” she says, glancing between her watch and clipboard. “I have a room set up for you guys with some refreshments and, of course, all your favorite snacks.”
“Oh, I knew I loved you,” Lennox says cheerfully, a complete one-eighty from the conversation he had with Adaline just seconds before.
“Here you are.” Sofia leads us to the room and opens the door. Lennox walks through first and I follow closely behind him. “I’ll knock when the next interview is ready.”
She closes the door and I wait until I hear the heels of her footsteps disappear down the hall.
Gripping the deadbolt, I twist the metal, locking the door and then turn around.
Lennox is busy running his hands through his hair, cursing under his breath. “She was such a bitch. Asking those questions just to get a rise out of us. She knew we wouldn’t answer. Why even attempt to ask?”
He’s spitting out random statements and questions but I remain silent as I walk up to him. I keep my eyes on his as I unbutton his shirt, trailing down until the fabric splays open and his phoenix tattoo is fully showing.
“What are you doing?” His body is frozen now, arms at his sides as his chest rises and falls with calculated breath.
“You telling off that reporter did things to me.” I stick out my tongue, trailing over the ink lines on his chest as I unzip his pants and push them down.
His back flops against the wall and I begin to kneel slowly in front of him.
“Oh, fuck. I swear to god if you do what I think you’re going to do I’ll tell every reporter off, no regrets.”
I take his already hard cock out from behind his boxer briefs and chuckle. “Every single one?” I ask, darting my tongue out over the tip.
His body jerks when I repeat the motion and he groans. “Anyone who fucks with you, Moose. I won’t fucking stand for it.” I drag my tongue up the underside of his shaft. His mouth falls open as his hand slides through the side of my hair.
“No?” I ask, playing coy.
“Never.” His breathy admission is my undoing. I open my lips, flatten my tongue, and take the head of his cock into my mouth. Pressing forward, I push until my nose is at the base and I bob there, massaging the tip with the tight pocket of my throat.
“Jesus Christ. Bloody hell,” he says, as the back of his head thuds against the wall. “Please don’t stop.”
Every time his moans grow louder I pull back, letting his cock jut between us, begging for more.
“Remember that time you denied me an orgasm?” I ask, licking the tip softly.
He whips a glare down at me. “Don’t you dare.” He looks at his watch, then at the door.
“Jace, this isn’t funny. We have hours of this left, you can’t let me walk around with a fucking boner for you.”
I shrug. “Who says you couldn’t?”
“Jace—” he replies quickly, thrusting his hips forward, begging for my mouth with his actions.
There’s a knock at the door and Sofia calls out for a minute.
“Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.” He glances down at me as my eyes peer up at him. My mouth is suctioned just around the thick pink crown and I can’t help but smile.
“Oh, you bloody bastard. You’re the fucking devil, you know that right?”
Wrapping my hands around his hips, I press my fingers in the globes of his ass and pull them toward me. His cock slides over my tongue, down my throat, and I repeat the movement, keeping the same tempo, using his body to fuck my face.
“Jace. Don’t stop. Don’t fucking stop,” he whisper-grunts out a stuttered breath as hot liquid pierces the back of my throat. He holds his face into his arm, muffling the moaning sounds of his orgasm with the fabric of his shirt.
I lick and suck every drop, swallowing it before I pop off the tip. His body shudders and my amused grin meets him face-to-face as I stand up.
“I’m going to pay you back for that, you know,” he says with no potency behind his words, just satiated lust and fulfilled desire.
“Are you sure about that?” I ask because he can barely hold himself up right now.
“Yeah, like next year, probably. When I recover from this blowjob.” I chuckle as I watch him get dressed.
Knock. Knock.
“Next interview is lined up. Let’s go fellas!” Sofia calls out through the thick door that gave us the privacy we needed and I’m making a mental note to request that we have a break room for every one of our press junkets.
