16. On the Line #3
“Silas,” I tried to put as much strength and seriousness into my tone that I could manage.
“What happened with us, it was a one time thing. A trade. A deal. Well, the deal is done. It’s over, and I have–” I squinted my eyes shut, thinking it would make it easier to lie through my teeth. “No desire to see you. Ever again.”
“You’re an expert liar, Noah.”
I smashed my fist against the floor. “I am not lying to you!”
His sigh trickled into my ears. “And that defiance. I think it is one of your best qualities.”
I was beginning to think that Silas Thorne was impossible to hurt. Or escape from.
“What does it take for you to get the hint?” I growled.
He chuckled. “Trust me, you’ve given me plenty of hints. Don’t you recall? Let’s see…Kiss me already.”
I closed my eyes, my brain unwillingly returning to that moment. Silas repeated the phrases that had previously come out of my mouth in a smooth, sensual voice. “I need you, Silas.”
Pause.
“But my favorite,”
I flinched. Don’t say it.
“Faster, Silas, please,” he uttered smugly.
Silas’s breathing accelerated as I listened, and my heart dropped to my stomach. Was he doing what I thought he was? And if so, was this really the kind of effect I had on him?
“Just remembering you...unh...struggling for air...mmm...you poor thing...”
I was silent, afraid that if I interrupted, the karma would come back around to haunt me. Or maybe I just enjoyed the sounds of Silas’s quiet moans.
Most likely the latter.
Knowing he was sitting there, getting off to the thought of me, had me feeling a certain strength.
“It just–” he gasped softly, “gets me all worked up. I go into a...a... kind of frenzy.”
My cock was as hard as steel now. My hand twitched, and like the little demon on the shoulder, promised pleasure from touch. I clenched my fists tight against my body, knowing that I could turn off the phone at any minute if I wanted to.
But I didn’t want to.
“I can’t help myself. It’s too hard to resist.” I could picture Silas smiling, his head tilted forward, his hand low and...
“Stop. Just, stop,” I practically begged as my fingers crept inside my jeans, coming up with their own plans.
“Nnn...why?”
No answer.
“Am I... getting to you, Noah?”
Yes.
“No. You’re just embarrassing yourself.” I began with slow strokes, the tantalizing and steady movement of my hand causing me to press deeper into the wood behind for support. Now that I started, it was too late to stop.
“I think I make you hot,” Silas purred. “I think you wish I was there, doing exactly this, except to you. My hand stroking you. Or maybe, my mouth…”
I sucked in and did not release the breath. I continued to drag my hand over my erection, this time with a heightened pace. I could remember everything so clearly, and heat erupted from my touch at the image Silas so skillfully painted for me.
“I think you want to see me again. How could you not?” A quiet laugh. “I’m dying here. It’s not the same.”
I shuddered. “Yeah? Well, what was so good about it?”
“Seeing you. Feeling you and your reactions. It was incredible. Your quivering form. You were so tight.”
I tightened my hold on my cock and squeezed, my lips parting and relinquishing a moan. It was louder than I intended it to be. I silently cursed to myself, and the other end of the phone grew silent.
“Ohhh, you are terrible Noah,” Silas whispered, his voice heavy and his breathing erratic. “But...ah...I guess that’s what makes you so addicting.”
Silas was pleased; I was sure. His point was proven, that he had gotten to me, and could get to me if he tried hard enough. It was just so hard to pull away.
His hooks were sunk too deep.
“I have to go,” I quickly replied. This would get out of hand very soon if I didn’t leave.
“You don’t want to.”
“I never said I did.”
“Don’t,” Silas implored, letting out a little sigh. “Finish with me, little Raven.”
The pet name Silas called me nearly sent me spiraling.
My body was on fire. My hand stalled, and I inhaled sharply, desperate to calm myself before I came.
I couldn’t even fathom how he had gotten me this close, this quickly.
And the fact that he was using endearments on me already.
The prestigious Silas Thorne wanted me, a druggy with no future in sight.
I didn’t know if this terrified or excited me.
“I can’t. I have to go.” I repeated, knowing that if the message didn’t sink in this time, I would give in to him and stay on the line.
“If you must,” Silas released an unsatisfied groan. “Then do one thing for me.”
I fidgeted. “It depends.”
“Remember this. What you’re doing. How you feel. Because that, is never going to go away.”
I didn’t speak. What would I even say to that?
“And trust me, I’ll make sure of it.”
“And Noah–” There was a temporary stall. “When you hang up, don’t stop until you make yourself cum.”
He wasn’t even here, and my cheeks still burned at his request.
“Goodbye, Silas.”
“Not for long.”
I hung up the phone, pumping into my fist desperately until I broke, releasing into my hands. As I rested back against the door, I wondered in ecstasy if Silas knew that I obeyed his command willingly, without question.
