Emmett assured him, “Lisa will be punished for that.” Channing snarled, “Maybe everyone else got hit in the head, because Lisa should die for that!” Emmett responded, “Katie isn’t a pack member, Channing.” Channing growled, “So?”
Emmett sighed, “Do you have a reason you could give me to give that order?” I told Channing, “He wants us to say she’s our mate.” Channing answered, “I know that.” Lisa ran back in boldly declaring, “Channing won’t hurt me.” Channing snarled, “Yes, I will!”
Lisa screamed, “Keaton, help me please!” Nope. Not a single chance in hell. Keith urged, “Let Channing go. By the way, Lisa do note Keaton is doing NOTHING to stop Channing. Not a single thing, which means he agrees with his wolf.” Channing chuffed in agreement.
Emmett ordered, “Lisa, get out of this room.” She left again. Emmett repeated, “Channing, let Keaton come back.” Channing huffed warning me, “I’ll kill Lisa if she steps in mate’s direction again.” I told him, “I’m right there with you.”
Channing gave me back control and everyone eased back.
Grandpa sighed, “You are merely delaying the inevitable people. That never works out well, I’m just saying.
” Dad asked, “Are you going to help?” Grandpa questioned, “Did you not see me helping? I was being so helpful. No one took my advice, per usual.”
Emmett announced, “Lisa will be taking a month out of school.” I snarled, “She should be expelled.” Emmett told me, “I’m the one holding her out, not the school.
” I told him, “Then hold her out all year!” Emmett replied, “I might. This shit is ridiculous. Lisa is claiming your girlfriend started it which I do not believe.”
Malachi said, “I got the feeds from the school. Katie goes into the bathroom alone, and they followed her.” Emmett rubbed his face, “God, I hate that girl. Where are we on a transfer, Malachi?” Malachi snorted, “No one wants Lisa, not even her old pack.”
I snorted, “Of course they don’t. She’s a freaking rogue magnet, who has lost her freaking mind!” Emmett nodded, “On that note, can we talk about how attached Channing is to your girlfriend? You’ve been losing control to him multiple times the last few days over Katie.”
I argued, “I let Channing have control, I didn’t lose it.” Grandpa snorted while Emmett stared at me then said, “Because….” My brother trailed off intentionally. I scoffed, “I had every right. Lisa keeps confronting me, and she’s been emotionally abusive.”
I pointed at the door, “She won’t leave me alone, and is accosting me about ENGAGEMENT RINGS!” Channing roared that part. Dad made a face. I took back over, “Now she’s done enough a restraining order was granted. Lisa physically ASSAULTED my girlfriend.”
Emmett pinched his nose saying, “If Katie was a member of this pack I would have more I could do here, Keaton. Give me something.” I snorted, “Lisa threatened someone and has a restraining order against her. There’s plenty you can do.”
Emmett pointedly looked at me, “I could do more with official information.” Everyone looked at me.
It was on the tip of my tongue to admit Odette was my mate.
Lisa slammed back into the office, “I’m filing a complaint because Keaton assaulted me.
I want his restitution to be that we have lunch together for the rest of the school year. ”
I shot back, “Over my dead body.” Channing linked, “Her dead body, Keaton. I will kill her and I told Lightning that.” Emmett scoffed, “No. Will you get out and stay out? Stop making this worse. Colton, get her out of this room.” My cousin would enjoy that way too much, which is smirk said.
Mom flashed in front of Lisa, “You know I’m in the Hood. I could have you killed easier than I take my next breath. I have HAD IT with you! Now, you’re running around talking about my son proposing to you. While telling the pack, it was about to happen.”
“Then you go and assault SOMEONE WHO THINKS THEY ARE HUMAN! Do you have a brain? You know how humans handle things, and yet you’re parading around acting as if you have a power you do not have.
“Stay away from my son and his girlfriend. I don’t know what you’ve done to my family, but I know it’s something. I’m fucking watching you, bitch. I have multiple people looking into this now, especially since Haley agree you had to do something. GET OUT!” Lisa’s eyes widened.
My ex looked at me, “Keaton, please.” I growled at her. Malachi groaned, “Lisa, just go.” My ex cried, “Everyone is so unfair here.” I snarled, “Then leave. If you don’t like it here and think there are places that will be fair? Go there. Leave us alone.”
Lisa frowned, “I belong here.” I snorted, “I hope your mate lives in Antarctica. Can you send her there for a month, Emmett?” Emmett smirked. Lisa ran to the door then paused, “You will come back to me, Keaton. She’s not worth this.”
I disagreed, “She’s worth everything. I will never come back to you.” Lisa snorted, “We’ll see.” Colton growled, “Get to stepping, Lisa. You’re not going back in there while I’m standing here.” Lisa finally left.
Mom slammed the door shut scoffing, “Unbelievable.” Mom seemed to forget we were all here and took out her phone. Aunt Haley had charmed her phone so we couldn’t hear who she called until she said, “Don’t you hi me in that I’m having a great night and just had sex tone.”
So, it was Uncle Heath. Mom continued, “Because I live in the Shroud where that GOD AWFUL BITCH DOESN’T LIVE! Someone NEEDS to kill her or I will.” Mom paused then said, “No, I’ve been talked out of killing her one too many times.”
“My patience for this is rapidly ending. That girl has done something to my family. Keaton’s back to normal but everyone else is testing MY DAMN PATIENCE ABOUT HER!

Mom snorted then said, “Yeah, well I bet her dying would fix it. Pshhhh, you calm down. I’m perfectly fine, it’s everyone else that isn’t!” Mom paused then snarked, “Wrong. Haley agreed Keaton being back to normal wasn’t a problem.”
“Haley didn’t even sort of say that Lishriekra didn’t do something to my son.
She just said it wasn’t a charm or a spell which left options.
That Haley is looking into WITH me. Which means she thinks I’m right.

I flashed and put my arms around her. “Mom, I’m ok.” Mom hugged me back saying, “Now you are. I don’t know what Lisa did, but it’s something.” Emmett said, “Mom.” Mom snorted, “I mean you too. Why do you care if Lisa has somewhere to go? Hmm? Banish her!”
Emmett started to say something. Mom snorted, “Oh, I know you have excuses and you won’t do it. Frank and I are the ones with level heads about Lisa. No one wanted her around Keaton, but you refuse to just kick her out.”
Dad tried, “Sweetheart she has…” Mom cut him off, “Family. Whatever. She looks nothing like them, and Lisa’s siblings don’t even like her. They’ve tried to bond with her, and Lisa used them until it stopped suiting her.”
“That girl cheated on our son with the young man her sister confided to Lisa that she believed was her mate. Lisa is evil and vindictive. They’d be better off if she was kicked out of here. Her siblings would probably throw a party when her dark cloud of doom was gone.”
“I’m putting you all on notice. I’m looking into that girl. I know Lisa has done something to you all, and I WILL find what it is. Keaton’s actions and your actions prove she did. When the day comes that I figure it out, you either stand with me; or I will handle it on my own. Excuse me.”
Mom stormed out. Colton’s eyes were wide with shock. Dad headed out after mom, but she flashed away. Dad growled and shifted into Bolt. Grandpa said, “We don’t shift inside, son.” Bolt huffed at my grandpa then took off after my mom.
I linked dad, “Mom will go to Aunt Haley or be popped away.” Dad replied, “I know.” I winced apologizing, “I’m sorry.” Dad told me, “It’s not your fault, Keaton. You have nothing to be sorry for.” I didn’t know what to say back.
Emmett and Malachi were staring at me. I asked, “What?” Emmett pleaded, “Say the words I want you to, little brother. Come on. Please.” Channing linked, “Lightning told me that they won’t bring her here and explain about Supernatural’s.”
I asked, “Will he like Odette though? Can we have our mate and our family? Or will we lose everyone because we pick our mate?” Channing huffed. I opened my mouth to answer the unspoken question when the pack link went crazy, “ROGUES!”
I jumped up with my brothers and ran out the front door. I shifted the second I hit the door. Channing ran to the border to find Lisa on the ground screaming. Channing snorted, “She deserves the bite on the arm she has.” I engaged the two rogues left. Several tried to run away, but Emmett had them.
I shifted back. Lisa yelled, “Keaton, please help me. I’m hurt.” I asked, “Do I look like a doctor?” I linked the pack doctor, “We have an injured woman at the border where the rogue attack was.” Justin and Isla showed up but neither made a move towards Lisa.
Kreed, Carry and Kincade’s oldest son and likely to be our Male Lead Warrior when he challenged his dad for it, bent down to pick her up. I wondered why I hadn’t seen him and Annie around like I usually did. Lisa slapped him then screamed, “I don’t want you, I want Keaton.”
Annoyance flashed through Kreed. I studied him closely. What was wrong with him? Finally, Kreed said, “I, Kreed Farmer, Warrior of Yellow Hills, reject you Lisa Kipner as my mate.” My eyes widened. Channing snorted, “You’re joking.”
