9. Chapter Nine #3

That was patently ridiculous, given all Adam’s many imperfections, and yet…

Calder had said that they were made for one another.

He’d said that he had enough arms to always support Adam.

And he’d never, in all the weeks they’d known one another, acted like it was anything but true.

Adam’s clumsiness had never once been an issue.

Calder’s magnificent physique hadn’t made him judgmental about Adam or his baking.

To the contrary, he’d had nothing but praise to heap upon Adam and his cakes.

Adam doubted that he’d be able to eliminate all his feelings about this instantly, but maybe…

maybe he could try harder to work through it, could treat Calder as his own person and not bring any of his baggage with him when he dealt with this wonderful man who’d always treated him differently than anyone else ever had.

“Thank you,” Adam said, swallowing the constriction in his throat. “I’ll, uh, try to remember that. You might need to remind me sometimes.”

Calder just smiled at him. “I’ll remind you every day for the rest of our lives if it’ll help.”

And then he leaned in and kissed Adam. Adam kissed him back hungrily, glorying in the connection, the need that pulsed between them.

Calder had chosen him, despite his clumsiness, despite his prejudices, despite his belly and busy job and lack of people skills.

Calder didn’t just want him for this moment, he wanted to keep him, and Adam couldn’t imagine anything better than that.

He managed to kick Calder in several tentacles when he tried to wrap his legs around him, but Calder figured out what he was trying to do and lowered himself onto Adam, then flipped them in a move that was too fast for Adam to entirely process.

Adam was a big fan of Calder being settled on top of him, but now that Adam was on top, Calder could fully wrap all his arms and tentacles around Adam, enveloping him in the best hug ever.

Adam shivered and tried to burrow even closer to Calder, who was now a solid, warm weight beneath him. This was the best.

Also! It brought their hard cocks into solid alignment, which Adam should really have been paying more attention to, but the squid arms were still kind of new and amazing, alright?

Now it was all sorts of naked flesh against naked flesh, and that was incredible. Calder was hung, but Adam wasn’t going to feel inadequate because Calder had already explained how he found Adam deeply appealing, and the size of his erection certainly proclaimed just how aroused he was right now.

And then a tentacle squirmed between them and coiled around their cocks.

“Holy crap!” Adam yelped.

Calder went still, making Adam realize just how much movement there’d been, how the tentacles had been squeezing him rhythmically, how the hard body beneath him had been rocking up into him.

“I can—” Calder started.

Adam ground down on him as best he could and demanded, “Do that again! Right now!”

And Calder laughed, low and joyous, his tentacles resuming their motion, including the one that was wrapped around the two of them.

Adam had never been into tentacle porn, but from time to time a piece of fanfic had come his way, okay?

And all he could say was that every description he’d ever read had fallen short of capturing the pure bliss that was a tentacle jerking him and Calder off together.

Calder had no shortage of arms, so they could hold Adam, squeeze his ass, cup his face for a kiss, and jerk him off in the tightest, most all-encompassing grip he’d ever felt.

The coiled tentacles could easily grasp both of them completely, and the rhythmic tightening and releasing was so much better than a hand.

(There was zero doubt in Adam’s mind that this was going to ruin him for non-tentacle sex forever. But since he and Calder were going to bond and be together forevermore, that was just fine.)

Adam gasped into Calder’s mouth. “You are so amazing. Your tentacles are the best.”

Calder nipped at his lip. “Thank you, sweetheart. Being with you is extremely inspirational.”

“’M not going to last long,” Adam confessed.

He could already feel the heat coiling inside him, the pleasure building with every movement of that incredibly talented tentacle.

“I want you to come for me,” Calder told him. “I want you to come all over me and show me how much you like me and my tentacles.”

“Oh, I do,” Adam gasped out. “So much.”

He hadn’t been great at showing that at the beginning, but he was determined to make up for lost time.

Calder’s tentacle made some sort of extra twisting motion, and that was it. Adam cried out and writhed and spurted all over Calder, which made Calder do the same, his come joining the mess between them.

Calder’s arms continued to hold them together as Adam collapsed bonelessly on top of him. He let out a sated chuckle.

“What?” Calder asked.

“I feel like a squid.” Adam tried to wriggle his floppy body. “No bones! Does sex with a mythical shifter turn you into one?”

Calder laughed softly and pressed a kiss to the side of Adam’s head. “No.”

“You’re just that good, then?” Adam said, feeling supremely satisfied.

Calder snorted and kissed him again. “Yes, I guess I’m just that good.”

Adam sighed happily. “I’m so lucky.”

He could hear the smile in Calder’s voice. “No, that’s definitely me, sweetheart.”
