While Collin rubbed Whitney’s feet, Whitney in turn stroked Sawdust. Sawdust purred and purred and purred, closing his eyes and lifting his chin.

He loved their family cuddle time on the couch, when all of them were relaxed and quiet and content.

He didn’t even mind when Copernicus or Galileo hopped up onto the couch to get pets, too.

He’d been with Whitney for years, before she’d even met Collin, and he knew he would always be Whitney’s favorite.

No need to hog all of her affection. His brothers deserved their fair share, and there was plenty of love to go around. The more the merrier!
