9. Lines Begin to Blur #2

All this time, I thought I just had to find her. That once I did, everything would fall into place. But now, standing here in the dream mansion, I realize how wrong I was.

Finding her was only the beginning.

Nichole steps closer, searching my face carefully. “But I know her, Damian. I know everything about her.” She lifts her hand, pressing it lightly against my chest. “I see what she sees. I know what she thinks. I feel what she feels.”

I inhale sharply, my pulse kicking up a notch.

“If you want her,” Nichole continues, her voice like a whisper against my skin, “I can help you win her over.”

My grip tightens into fists at my sides.

She’s right.

I can’t just walk up to Real Nichole and expect her to know me. She’ll see me as a stranger. If I want her—if I truly want her back- I need to be smart about this. Intentional.

This changes everything.

My plan has to be twofold now.

First, I need to figure out Antonio’s true motives.

Did he truly orchestrate all of this just to reconnect with his daughter?

Or is there something else—something far more dangerous—lurking beneath the surface?

Second, I need to make Nichole fall for me.

Without getting myself killed in the process.

Without tipping off the Berettis before I know how deep this goes.

Without rushing her into something she’s not ready to accept.

I turn back to her, my jaw set. “Then you’re going to tell me everything.”

Nichole smiles, slow and sweet. “I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

The weight of everything lingers between us—Antonio’s deception, the truth about Real Nichole, the battle waiting for us outside this dream. But here, in this place, none of it matters.

Nichole watches me carefully, her expression softer now, more open. She takes a step closer, her fingers brushing against my wrist. A grounding touch. A silent invitation.

“You don’t always have to be at war,” she murmurs. “Not here.”

I exhale, tension still coiled tight in my muscles, refusing to let go. “That’s easy for you to say.”

She tilts her head slightly, studying me. “Is it?”

I glance at her, something flickering in my chest. This world belongs to us. No outside threats. No Berettis watching my every move. No danger lurking in the shadows. Just her. Just us.

She steps forward until there’s barely any space left between us. “Let me help you forget. Just for tonight.”

I arch a brow. “And how exactly do you plan to do that?”

A slow smile curves her lips. “Trust me?”

Before I can respond, she lifts a black silk blindfold between us.

My smirk deepens. “And if I say no?”

Her fingers trail lightly over my collar, up to my jaw, her touch feather-light. “Then you’d miss out on what I have planned for you.”

I exhale sharply. “You’ve been planning this.”

“For a while now,” she admits, her voice playful yet laced with something darker.

I could fight it. Could insist on holding on to the weight pressing against my ribs. But for the first time in a long time, I don’t want to.

I give her a slow nod. “Alright.”

She steps behind me, her fingers threading through my hair briefly before slipping the blindfold over my eyes. The world fades into darkness, but her presence is sharp and undeniably real.

“Come with me,” she whispers.

She takes my hand, guiding me forward, careful and deliberate. The air shifts around us, the coolness of the mansion giving way to something warmer, richer. A subtle, intoxicating scent lingers in the space—roses, vanilla, something deeper.

The floor beneath me changes—from solid marble to something impossibly soft, something that bends underfoot.

I stop.

A slow silence stretches between us before she reaches up and unties the blindfold.

The moment my vision clears, my breath catches.

The room is bathed in candlelight, the soft flickering glow casting warm shadows against the walls. The floor beneath us is covered in a sea of rose petals, their plush softness cushioning every step.

At the center of the room, a solid massage table stands, its surface also layered in petals. Beside it, a small tray holds warmed massage oil and a neatly folded towel.

Soft, sultry music filled the space, setting the mood for what I knew would be an unforgettable experience. Nichole had gone all out, transforming this place into a sensual paradise.

I glance at her, something unreadable tightening in my chest. “How did you do this?”

She watches me, satisfied by my reaction. “You’re not the only one who can shape this world, Damian.”

I frown slightly. “I thought—”

“That only you could manifest things?” she finishes, tilting her head.

“At first, yes. But I’ve been here for a long time.

The mansion has adapted to me, just as much as it has to you.

” She steps closer, her fingers grazing my arm.

“That’s why you were able to see my fears in the nightmare room. The dream listens to me too.”

A slow, knowing smirk tugs at my lips. “So you planned this.”

Her gaze dips to my chest before lifting back to mine. “I wanted to give you something.”

I exhale, my hands already itching to pull her against me. “And what’s that?”

She smiles, reaching for the first button of my shirt. “A chance to let go.”

She moves with practiced ease, guiding me onto the table until I’m lying face-down against the soft petals. The warmth of the room seeps into my skin, but nothing compares to the first press of her hands.

She starts at my shoulders, slow, deliberate, unraveling every knot of tension she finds.

I groan, my head tilting slightly. “Where did you learn to do this?”

“Experience.” Her voice is teasing, but there’s a deeper satisfaction in it. “You carry too much stress.”

Her fingers move lower, tracing the defined ridges of my back, gliding over every tight muscle and coaxing it into relaxation. The oil warms beneath her touch, smoothing the path of her hands as she works her way down, lingering, pressing, exploring.

Every stroke sends heat licking through my veins, coiling in my stomach, pooling lower.

She leans in, her breath a whisper against my ear. “You’re always carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders, Damian.” A soft kiss lands at the base of my neck. “Tonight, let me take care of you.”

I exhale sharply, my grip tightening against the edge of the table.

Her touch is expert, intoxicating. The tension in my body shifts—no longer from stress, but from something far more primal.

I smirk, my voice rough with amusement. “Am I supposed to pretend this isn’t turning me on?”

She laughs softly, the sound dark and sultry. “You don’t have to pretend.”

Her hands trail lower, dipping into dangerous territory, testing, teasing, promising.

I curse under my breath, shifting against the table. “This better have a happy ending.”

She hums, her fingers grazing down my spine before shifting lower, her touch bold and deliberate.

"Lie down, Damian," Nichole's sultry voice purred, breaking the spellbinding atmosphere. Her blonde hair fell in soft waves down her back, and her brown eyes sparkled with mischief.

She wore a sheer black robe that hinted at the curves beneath, and her full lips curved into a seductive smile. I couldn't help but notice the intricate tattoo on her shoulder, a mysterious woman's face surrounded by flowers and butterflies, a testament to her unique beauty.

I did as she asked, my tall frame settling onto the massage table, the soft petals caressing my skin. The warmth of the room enveloped me, but it was nothing compared to the heat that flared within me as Nichole's hands made contact with my shoulders.

Her touch was like a brand, searing me with pleasure.

"Relax, my love," she whispered, her breath hot against my ear. "I got you."

Her fingers, skilled and confident, began their dance across my shoulders, kneading and soothing the tense muscles. I groaned, closing my eyes as she worked her magic.

Nichole had never given a professional massage, but her touch was instinctively perfect, finding every knot and tension point with ease. Her hands were strong yet gentle, and I could feel the stress melting away under her skilled fingers.

She moved slowly, deliberately, down my back, her palms gliding over my skin, leaving a trail of warmth in their wake.

I felt every inch of her touch, every press and stroke, as if my body had become hyper-sensitive to her.

Her nails, neatly trimmed, grazed my skin lightly, sending shivers down my spine.

"You hold so much tension here," she murmured, her voice low and throaty. "Let it all go."

I did as she said, surrendering to the sensations. Her hands moved lower, massaging my lower back, her thumbs pressing into the tight muscles along my spine.

I felt her lean over me, her breasts brushing against my back, and I bit back a moan. The sensation of her body against mine was electric, a constant reminder of the passion that simmered between us.

"You're so strong," she whispered, her breath hot against my skin. "But even the strongest need to unwind."

Her hands traveled further down, reaching the curve of my buttocks. I tensed, expecting her to avoid this area, but instead, she cupped my cheeks, her fingers dipping into the crease where my thighs met my body. I gasped, my dick stirring at the unexpected touch.

"Shh," she soothed, her voice a gentle command. "Just relax and enjoy."

Her fingers traced circles on my skin, her touch feather-light and teasing. I felt my cheeks flush, my body responding to her every caress. She kneaded my flesh, her thumbs pressing firmly, and I couldn't help but arch my back, pushing my ass into her hands.

"That's it," she encouraged, her voice husky. "Let me pleasure you."

Her touch became bolder, more purposeful. She squeezed and kneaded my cheeks, her fingers dipping lower, dangerously close to my most sensitive areas.

I was rock hard now, my dick throbbing with need. I could feel the pre-cum leaking from the tip, a testament to the arousal Nichole had stirred within me.
