Chapter 16 Onto the Boxing Ring
Men and women were different. In stamina and strength I couldn't match him.
But I was fast. That was my advantage. A lot of coaches had praised me for it.
And I didn't want to beat him. I only wanted to hit him.
Xiao Yuan hadn't even changed into training pants. He was wearing casual jeans, and it looked to me like he was looking down on me.
This was a good chance.
He and I got onto the Boxing Ring.
At first it was only probing, back and forth.
Xiao Yuan even had the leisure to correct me while throwing punches.
He didn't speak. He guided with movement.
I followed his motion. The next time I punched, I lifted my eyes to him, suddenly smiled, and called out very sweetly, "Brother Yuan."
Xiao Yuan froze. I kicked him straight in the groin.
He was caught off guard. The sharp pain made him double over, elbow hitting the floor.
By the rules, you weren't supposed to attack at that moment.
But I wasn't in a match with him.
I punched him in the face.
Xiao Yuan turned his face away. I pressed the advantage, kicked him in the chest, sat on his waist and abdomen, and started beating him.
Xiao Yuan raised his gloves to block.
I had trained boxing for five years. At the start it was because of Xiao Yuan. Later I liked it myself. It was a sport that let me release.
Once a Concert started, it ran two hours at least. For stamina and lung capacity, I had to run on the treadmill while singing for two hours every day.
I had plenty of strength and plenty of methods.
I also had plenty of rage and hate.
Every punch landed on flesh. My head went hot. I used almost every bit of strength I had in this life.
At first Xiao Yuan still tried to struggle up. But under my fierce punches that carried hate, I couldn't tell if he had given up or run out of strength. By the end he was completely pinned under me and beaten.
I could only hear my own heavy breathing. I vented it in punch after punch.
A drop of sweat fell on Xiao Yuan's face and slid a clear track through the messy blood.
I had beaten a nosebleed out of him.
Sweat soaked my hair. My hands went soft. My breathing was heavy. I looked down from above at Xiao Yuan under me.
He had finally lost that usual ease. His eyes were closed. His face was full of blood, bruised and swollen.
When he saw I had stopped, he opened his eyes and said hoarsely, "Get off."
I pulled off the gloves, wiped the sweat off my jaw, and was about to get up when I noticed something wrong.
Something was pressing against me.
A boom went off. A rush of heat shot from my neck up my face and ears. For a moment I couldn't tell if it was anger or shame. I got up through clenched teeth, smashed the gloves onto his face, and cursed, "Xiao Yuan, are you a fucking pervert?"
He could get hard when he was in this much pain.
How had that kick just now not wrecked him.
Xiao Yuan held the gloves I had thrown, covered his face with his wrist, and let out an "mm."
Fuck!
A wicked fire almost swept my reason. I kicked him hard. "Psycho."
Xiao Yuan let out another "mm."
I wiped my face. You couldn't talk to a psycho. I turned and walked.
At the door, Xiao Yuan's low, hoarse laugh came through.
My vision went black. Five damn years, and I had liked a lunatic.
