Chapter 33
Chapter Thirty-Three
Simon
“Oh, you’re in trouble now,” I smirked as I went after her.
She ran into the living room, laughing as she glanced over her shoulder at me.
“You have to catch me first,” she said.
“That won’t be a problem.” I was inches away from grabbing her when she jumped over the couch.
“What the hell?” I went around one end of the couch, and she immediately ran the other way into the kitchen.
By the time I got there, she stood on the opposite side of the island. We stared across at each other.
“You done?” I asked.
“Are you?” Her brow raised.
“I haven’t even started.” I smiled.
I moved right, and she moved left. I went left, and she immediately went right.
“Seriously?” I asked.
“You’re the one chasing me.” She grinned.
“Because you ran!”
“Maybe I wanted to see if you could catch me, Mr. Montclair.” A bright smile crossed her beautiful face.
“I can and will catch you,” I said.
“You seem very confident for a man standing all the way over there,” she smirked.
“Come here, Bella.”
“No.” She held her stance.
“Bella, I’m giving you one chance to surrender.”
“Or what?” She laughed.
“You really want to find out?” I raised my brow.
“I’m not scared of you, Montclair.”
“You should be.”
“Oh, please.” She breathed out a laugh.
I pretended I was about ready to go right, and she immediately moved to the left at the same time I did.
“Oh shit,” she said and ran.
I caught her before she made it out of the kitchen, wrapping my arms around her waist from behind and lifting her off the floor.
“Simon, put me down!”
“Absolutely not.”
She kicked her legs, laughing so hard she could barely breathe. I carried her to the bedroom, tossed her on the bed, and hovered over her, pinning her arms above her head.
“Cheater.” She grinned.
“How the hell did I cheat?”
“You tricked me!”
“That’s not cheating, Bella. That’s called strategy.”
“That’s called cheating, Simon.”
Our eyes stayed locked on each other. “I told you I would catch you.” I leaned down and smashed my mouth against hers.
Our clothes came off in a flash. After exploring every inch of her beautiful body, I thrust inside her.
Several moans escaped us as we both took in the pleasure of each other.
I lowered my head and wrapped my lips around her hardened peaks while I moved in and out of her.
She orgasmed twice, and I flipped her over on her stomach and took her from behind.
She had me so hard, and I couldn’t get enough of her.
The intense buildup was there, and I couldn’t hold back any longer.
I halted and buried myself deep inside her, groaning at the pleasure this woman gave me.
I pulled out, removed the condom, and rolled onto my back.
Bella snuggled against me with her head on my chest, and one leg tangled with mine under the sheets. My finger softly stroked her arm, and we both lay there peacefully.
“I still can’t believe you called my father,” I said.
“You’re still thinking about that?” She laughed.
“Yes.”
“Why?” She lifted her head and looked at me.
“Because you called my father and invited him to go to the fall festival with you.”
“You say that like I invited him to join a cult,” she said.
“I’m not entirely sure there’s a difference,” I sighed.
“Oh, my God.” She lay her head on my chest. “It’s a fall festival, Simon.”
“I know what it is,” I said.
“Do you really?”
“Of course I do. I know what happens at them.”
“Really?” She lifted her head again. “Enlighten me.”
“Pumpkins, hay, apples, and probably some filthy farm animals running around.”
She burst out laughing.
“What?” My brows furrowed.
“That’s your entire understanding of a fall festival?”
“What else is there?”
“Cider, donuts, and corn mazes. There are hayrides, pumpkin patches, food, games, and probably some good music.” She smiled.
“That sounds exhausting.”
“It sounds fun.” She grinned.
“And you didn’t just decide that you and I were going,” I said. “You called my father and invited him.”
“And Mary. Don’t forget I invited Mary. And your father sounded excited.”
“Trust me. My father is not excited about fall festivals.”
“Yes, he is. I heard it in his voice,” she said.
“He was being polite, Bella. And then I got scolded by him because of you.”
“I thought it was cute.” She laughed.
“How long are we going to be there?” I asked.
“Simon.” She playfully smacked my chest.
“I’m asking a legitimate question, Bella.”
“I can’t believe you’re already planning your escape.” She shook her head.
“I’m a planner. You know that.”
“You’ll have fun. I promise.”
“Will there be alcohol there?” I asked.
“At ten in the morning?” Her brows furrowed.
“I’m trying to find something to look forward to,” I smirked. “You know what’s really weird?”
“What?”
“You calling my father.”
“We’re still talking about that? Does it bother you?”
“No,” I quickly answered.
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah.” My grip around her tightened.
“Because if I crossed a line,” she said.
“You didn’t. It just caught me off guard.”
“I thought it would be nice,” she said.
“For him?”
“For all of us. I thought it would be fun for the four of us to do something normal. You’re doing that thing again.” She held up her hand, and I wrapped my fingers around it.
“What thing?” I asked.
“Thinking too hard.”
“I don’t think too hard.”
“You absolutely do.” She smiled.
“Is this your way of ending the conversation?” I rolled her onto her back and hovered over her.
“Yes, actually, it is,” she said.
“Well, it’s not going to work.” Her arms wrapped around my neck. “Tomorrow morning. Ten o’clock.”
“I know. I heard you.” I stared into her beautiful eyes.
“You have to be ready, Simon. And don’t wear a suit.”
“I wasn’t planning to wear a suit to a pumpkin field.”
“Good. You need to be very casual. Maybe jeans and a sweater.”
“Would you like to dress me?” I smirked.
“I might have to.” She grinned.
“Well, good luck with that.”
She brought her hand up and ran her fingers through my hair.
“You’re going to have fun tomorrow.” She smiled.
“Debatable.” I kissed her forehead and rolled onto my back, pulling her against me.
