Chapter Nine #3
April slumped forward, her body limp from the shattering orgasm.
“How about we move this to my bedroom?” Damien whispered against her temple.
“You’ll have to give my legs a moment to recover,” April said with a ragged laugh.
“Nah. That won’t be necessary.”
He scooped one arm underneath her knees and cradled her back with the other. He carried her down a wide hallway, stopping before the very last door and opening it with a gentle kick.
April took a moment to register the four-poster bed in the center of the room just before Damien turned and lowered her onto it. He leaned over her and pressed a kiss between her breasts.
“I love this gown you’re wearing, but it has to go.”
He hooked his thumbs in the fabric that had bunched around her hips and pulled the gown down her legs, leaving her in her demi-bra, matching panties, garters and stockings.
Damien stood at the edge of the bed, staring down at her, his mouth agape.
“What’s wrong?” April asked.
“Not a damn thing.” He shook his head. He pointed to a seating area just to the right of the bureau. “Part of me wants to sit over there and just stare at you while I jerk off, but another part of me really wants to come inside of you.”
April’s sex clenched.
“Get naked and get in this bed,” she ordered.
Damien’s mouth curled up in a sexy grin. “Yes, ma’am.”
He made quick work of his button-down shirt and slacks, shucking them on the chairs that she would definitely not allow him to sit on for the rest of the night. She wanted him in the bed.
He stalked over to the bed, his erection jutting out in front of him. She tracked him as he went over to the nightstand and pulled out a sleeve of condoms. He ripped one of the foil packets open and rolled on the latex.
He was taking much too long to get ready, yet she loved the anticipation. It drove her wild with want. The panties she still wore were soaking wet with her moisture. She squeezed her legs together to relieve the pressure building between her thighs.
“Damien, please,” April pleaded.
“Don’t worry,” he said. “I can’t wait another minute.”
He climbed onto the bed and unhooked her demi-bra, tugging it away from her skin and flinging it off the bed. Then he hooked his thumbs at the sides of her panties and pulled them down her legs.
“The rest of it stays on,” he said.
April looked down, unbelievably turned on at the sight of her body clad only in the garter and stockings.
Damien lifted her legs and rested her calves on his shoulders.
“I hope you didn’t have any plans for tomorrow, because I plan to wear you out tonight.”
With that he slid inside her, plunging his thickness to the hilt.
April released a desperate moan at the sheer pleasure that stalked through her bloodstream.
She arched her back, thrusting against him as he continued to pound into her, his strokes long and sure, and so gloriously deep he touched her soul.
She felt another orgasm building deep within her belly. Her limbs shook with it, the muscles growing heavy. She threw her head back as Damien thrust his hips with increasing power.
How long had she dreamed of this? How many nights had she fallen asleep and imagined this very thing happening? Damien above her, his hard length buried inside of her, deliciously stretching her body.
She relished every second. She wanted it to be like this between them. Always.
Damien changed his angle, dropping one of her legs from his shoulder and stretching the other one higher.
Every inch of his hardness penetrated her.
He drove himself deep, over and over and over again, until April finally flew apart, her body shaking with the force of the orgasm that ripped through her.
After several more thrusts, Damien’s body stiffened and he found his release, his arms shaking as he dropped her leg and collapsed on the bed next to her. His chest heaved with the force of the deep breaths he had to take.
He rose from the bed and went into the bathroom, returning without the condom. Then he climbed in the bed and scooped her up against him, spooning her backside against his front.
April let out a pleasurable moan. She was still too worn-out to speak in actual words.
“I have one question for you,” he whispered against her ear.
“Hmm?” she murmured.
“Were you really done with your performance tonight, or did you want me so badly that you skipped out on them?”
She chuckled, turning around in his arms. “I’ll admit that I wanted you badly, but not enough to put a mark on my professional reputation. I take that kind of thing seriously, you know.”
“Yeah, I know,” he said. He trailed his fingers down her hair and along her jawline. “Although, from what I witnessed tonight, you could stand up in the middle of a performance and curse out everyone in the audience and they would still love you.”
April let out a laugh.
“I’m serious,” Damien said. “They worship you.”
“I’ve been pretty lucky. It’s been that way my entire career.”
“Do you know how amazing you are?” Damien said. He held the back of her head and stared into her eyes. “Look at all you’ve accomplished. And now you’re adding to that legacy with the work you’re doing at A Fresh Start. Is there anything you can’t do?”
“Not so fast,” April said. “My legacy isn’t complete just yet.”
“What else is there to do?”
“Boston,” she answered simply. Damien’s forehead creased with confusion.
“You’ve never been to Boston?”
“Oh, I’ve been many times. But I’ve never played with them. The Boston Pops has been my dream since the concert I watched on PBS when I was ten years old. That concert is the entire reason I wanted to play the cello. Just the chance to audition with them would be amazing.”
“That’s a great little story,” Damien said. “But whether or not you ever get to play with the Boston Pops is not going to determine your legacy. It’s already established. You’re awesome. Deal with it.”
Laughing, she wrapped her arms around his neck and rolled on top of him. Straddling his sides, she dipped her head for a kiss, and at the same time wrapped her hands around his thickening erection.
She whispered against his lips, “I’d rather deal with this.”
