40. "Don't touch her."
Liam stood behind the chair Aysel was tied to, smirking conceitedly. My fists balled up, my blood boiling as I noticed that her shirt was torn.
Fucking bastard.
"Did you touch her?" I growled furiously.
He smirked. "Touch her? Oh I did a lot more than touching her. And guess what? She enjoyed it."
I growled, getting ready to launch myself at him as he awakened the beast inside of me, but he pulled a gun out and held it at her head. My lips thinned as I was forced to ground myself right there.
"Don't move an inch, Aiden. That is if you want her to live." He warned.
"Let her go." I said through gritted teeth, but he only laughed.
"Oh she's mine now." He grinned, touching her hair.
Adrenaline and anger surged through my veins, especially when I saw Aysel grimacing and struggling to break free from the restraints of the ropes.
It felt like I had spiralled back into time. I felt just as powerless as I had felt that night.
Before I could react, two guys grabbed me from behind. I struggled to get out of their hold, but was overpowered, and before I knew it, I was tied up to a chair as well.
Liam gestured them to leave once they were done tying me up.
I strained and struggled against the restraints, but it was of no use.
My mind raced with thoughts of the terrible things he could do to Aysel, or might have done to her, filling me with rage and remorse.
He grinned menacingly as he touched her cheek, rubbing it as she sat grimacing and clearly holding back tears.
"Don't fucking touch her!" I bellowed, straining against the ropes as they bit into my skin but refused to splay.
He chuckled darkly. "Make me."
I sat hyperventilating in fury as he buried his face in her neck and pressed his filthy lips to her pure and innocent flesh.
"Liam, get the fuck away from her!" I yelled, my muscles straining as I used every ounce of strength in my body.
I could hear my heart pounding in my ears as I felt the same fear I had felt fifteen years ago.
He put his hands on her shoulders, smirking smugly at me while she struggled to break free the same way I did.
"Untie me, you coward!" I called out.
His face was relaxed as he derived amusement from both of our misery. "She's quite lovely, isn't she? Even you couldn't resist her. Did she tell you what I did to her?"
My eyes darkened as I struggled harder against the ropes.
He chuckled amusedly. "I dragged her pretty little body to an alley, tore off her clothes and k—"
"Shut up!!" I shouted as immeasurable rage consumed me, making me feel like I would burst apart.
He only laughed an ugly, sadistic sound. "Enough about this one. Do you remember the events of this living room?"
I glowered at him.
"Your poor dad, poor mom and that poor little girl. Do you remember the screams?" He mocked.
"That's enough!" Aysel spoke up for the first time since I had gotten there. I looked into her eyes, silently pleading with her to stay quiet, afraid he might hurt her more.
"Oh look. The murderer's daughter has decided to speak," he declared. "How come you care so much about her, Aiden? She carries the same dirty, treacherous blood in her veins, no?"
"Shut the fuck up!" I growled.
He snorted. "You know, this is getting kind of boring. Let's do something fun. How about I untie you for starters?"
"Will your cowardice allow you to do that?" I countered.
He snickered. "Aiden, you are not in a position to be speaking to me that way. Now listen up. I'm going to untie you, but if you act smart, a bullet will go through her skull."
I stayed quiet and alert, awaiting his next move. He called the guys who had tied me up and made them stand behind Aysel with guns in their hands, before untying me.
"Now, Aiden, do you want to save your pretty Doctor?" He asked. "You'll have to do as I say."
I stood up. "What do you want?"
He smirked. "Go down on your knees and beg us to let her go. You know, the way you begged us to let your family go."
I squeezed my eyes shut, my jaw clenching.
"Awww Aiden Knight's ego does not allow that?" He sneered.
I glared at him. "Let her go. Do whatever you want with me. Don't bring her into this."
"There's no fun in that," he dismissed the idea. "On your knees, now."
"Don't do it, Aiden." Aysel's firm voice came through.
My gaze softened as I met her eyes. I knew she was trying to remain strong but inside her self esteem had been shattered.
"Oh yeah? That's fine. He doesn't have to," he said casually. "Unless he wants to watch the three of us enjoy your pretty little body."
"What?" She gasped.
"You bastard!" I growled out, grabbing him by the throat.
"Let him go or we'll shoot the girl!" One of the guys behind Aysel spoke.
With a clenched jaw, I let him go.
"Give Aiden a little show." He instructed the guys.
My eyes widened as they sinisterly stepped closer to Aysel, running their filthy eyes over her innocent body before extending their dirty hands towards her.
"Stop!" I yelled.
"Don't touch her." I breathed out, dropping to my knees on the floor.
