Chapter 13

PAISLEY

I was half in a daze as we left the falls and headed back into town. The insides of my thighs were sticky with cum, but I had no regrets. I meant what I said when I told them I felt beautiful. I'd never felt so attractive to one man, much less three.

It would take a while to get my head around having fucked three men. I'd come more times than I ever had before. Each of these guys was different, but I was drawn to them like a moth to flame.

My only worry? I might find myself burnt.

"You okay?" Morgan sat in the back of the truck beside me, his hand curled around mine.

I looked over at him, wanting to be completely honest with him and with myself. I owed all of us that much.

"Mostly," I said slowly. "There's just one—" I stared past him as we stopped in front of the hotel. "Shit."

He frowned, before following my gaze. "Let me guess." He looked unimpressed.

"Yeah," I said on a long exhale. "I don't know how he found me here."

"You don't have to talk to him if you don't want to," Morgan said.

"I think I do," I said reluctantly. "I need to clear the air." If I didn't, I'd have this hanging over me for the rest of my life. Better to put it to rest right now.

"We'll be with you." He squeezed my hand before letting me go so I could climb out of the truck.

"What are you doing here?" I stepped around the back of the truck to the other side.

Kevin's eyes narrowed as he took me and other the three men in. "Okay, now I get it. This is the reason you walked out on me. I didn't pick you for a slut. My bad." He rolled his eyes and smirked.

"Your bad?" Ryan took a step toward him, his voice low, his expression almost mild in spite of the hint of anger. "You cheated on her and you're calling her names?"

Kevin scoffed. "Whoever you are, this is none of your business."

Ryan grabbed him by the front of his shirt, hauled him up until his feet dangled off the ground. "Paisley is my business. She is none of your business. She doesn't want to have anything to do with your cheating ass."

I had to give Kevin credit for not wetting himself.

"Paisley, how long has this thing going on with this meathead?" He almost sounded bored. That was bold, considering his toes were a centimetre off the ground.

"How long were you cheating on me with Alena?" I asked, trying not to rise to the bait. "I saw the video of you at Morgan's concert."

Kevin shifted his gaze to Morgan. "Did you take it?" He snarled. "I'll fucking sue you."

"I can't work out if you're dumb or brave," Ryan said, getting right up into Kevin's face. "Give me one good reason we shouldn't take you up to the falls and throw you off."

"Because murder is illegal," Kevin sneered.

Blaise matched his sneer. "Only if we get caught."

Morgan moved to press Kevin down and pry Ryan from him. "I didn't take the video. Who took it is irrelevant. The point is, you were cheating and you got caught. Paisley, on the other hand, was not cheating."

Kevin crossed his arms and over to me. "Are you trying to say you haven't fucked any of these assholes?"

I hesitated for a moment before deciding honesty was the best way to go.

"I've fucked all of them, but not before today. Because unlike you, I don't fuck other people unless I'm single. How many other women have you cheated with?"

"That's not—" Kevin started.

Ryan closed in on him again. "Answer the woman's question, or we might follow through with Blaise's suggestion. Trust me, we know places to hide your body where no one will ever find it."

That shouldn't have been as hot as it was, but I'd never felt so protected before. We had a long way to go to get to know each other, but I knew these three would always have my back. No matter what happened.

"Just Alena," Kevin muttered. After giving Ryan a sidelong look, he added, "And Giselle. Tiana. Vanessa."

I was sure there was more, but that was enough.

"You're an asshole, Kevin," I told him. "I should have been done with you a long time ago."

"No offence, Paisley, but what did you see in this worm?" Blaise asked.

I regarded Kevin, then shook my head. "I have no idea. But now I've met you three, I know what a real man looks like."

Kevin squinted. "Three?"

"Yes, three," I said evenly. "Each one of them is twice the man you'll ever be. I'll leave you to figure out the calculations on how much better than you they are. Since that will hurt your brain, let me help you out a little bit. Lots."

"Fucking slut," Kevin said under his breath as he started to turn away.

Ryan grabbed him before he got far, taking a handful of his shirt before planting his fist in Kevin's face.

I winced at the crack of breaking bone and the spray of blood as Ryan broke Kevin's nose.

Ryan shoved him hard, so he fell back on his ass, his hand clutching his nose. "I suggest you get the fuck out of town before worse happens to you."

Kevin scrambled to his feet and bolted for his car.

"I don't think he'll be giving you any more trouble," Morgan mused.

I laughed softly. "I don't think so either. Thank you guys."

Ryan draped an arm over my shoulders. "Anything for our woman. Now, let's get your things and get you moved into my place."

"If that's what you want?" Morgan asked softly. "We can take it slowly if you like."

He ignored the sound of protest Blaise made, and cocked his head at me questioningly. Ryan gave me the same look. As far as they were concerned, this was my choice to make.

I thought for a moment. We were moving very quickly, but everything felt right. This town, these guys. This new life. Belonging to them.

The mountain men's runaway bride.

"There's nothing I want more," I said. "Let's do it."

"You bet we will." Blaise took my hand and the three of them led me to my hotel room.
