Chapter 3

GISELLE AWOKE WITH A start, heaving in a great breath as she tried to get her bearings.

She was in a bed, in the arms of two aliens. Aliens from space who had abducted her from Earth. Aliens who had… used her for their pleasure in a way that sent uncomfortable butterflies to her stomach.

“Hello, little human,” Vrix said, a smile on his face as he held her in his arms.

“H-Hello,” she answered, not sure what else there was to do.

His skin was radiating with warmth, rigid and unyielding as it glistened with iridescent sparkles. The glowing yellow slits that covered his body blinked ever so slightly.

“Did you rest well? You’re not in pain, are you? I hope we were able to control ourselves enough.”

He watched her with ruby eyes, the vertical slits dilating as his chest rose and fell.

They called what had happened controlling themselves?

Giselle took stock of her parts, the scratches at her waist, the ache between her legs, but otherwise unharmed. She was alive. She was okay. She had survived.

“I’m fine.”

A grumbling laugh resonated from behind her.

Thase.

“I knew you were a wise choice,” came his hiss of a voice, one arm squeezing her around her middle. “Taking our cocks like a good little slut. I thought we would tear you apart, but you were ready for us, you naughty human. How many have you taken?”

She thanked whatever deity was listening that Anthony had been so obsessed with anal, probably the only thing that helped her through what had happened.

“Well?” Thase growled, tangling his fingers in her hair and yanking her head back.

“I-I don’t know. A few,” she whimpered, her neck straining as he pulled.

“A few,” Thase muttered before releasing her with a laugh. “More than a few, I think.”

Vrix laughed too, though his was filled with amicability as opposed to icy mockery.

“You did so good. I’m so proud of you. We’ll have a lot of fun together.”

Giselle swallowed hard, trying not to let the words lull her, or the warmth of his embrace. She steeled herself, asking her question before she chickened out.

“When will you take me back to Earth?”

Vrix glanced past her, probably at Thase, before focusing back on her

“We will not be returning to Earth, not unless something happens to you.”

Her heart started racing, a cold sweat beading on her brow.

“What do you mean? What’s going to happen to me?”

Vrix eyed Thase with a grin.

“Thase was too vigorous with our last pet. He got… carried away with the collar.”

She trembled in his arms as the two aliens chuckled lightly.

“Carried away?”

Before Vrix could answer, Thase muttered from behind her.

“Do not blame this all on me. The one before was your fault.”

Icy dread filled her, coiling around her limbs and burrowing into her stomach. She gulped again, her mouth suddenly dry.

“H-How many humans have been your… pet?”

Vrix pursed his mouth, narrowing his eyes like he was thinking carefully.

“Oh, I do not know. Four or five.”

“Four or five?”

Giselle tried to remain calm and focus, tried to understand. A million questions whizzed through her mind, none of them with answers she was particularly eager to hear.

Vrix smiled that toothy grin, leaning in close to her face.

“Do not worry, sweet one, I will not let that happen to you. We have learned how fragile human flesh and bones are and will not be making those mistakes again.”

Giselle grasped at Vrix, even though he was the one who had said the words, the one who had taken her, used her. She blinked her eyes rapidly, trying to clear her head, trying to comprehend what he was saying.

She wasn’t the first.

They had taken others.

They had killed them.

Purposeful or not, humans were dead because of Vrix and Thase.

Tears spilled down her cheeks, wetting Vrix’s chest as she clung to his shoulders.

“Please, just take me back to Earth. I-I don’t belong here, I—”

Thase fisted a knot of her hair, yanking her head back again before hissing in her ear.

“You belong with us. You belong to us. If you behave like a good little pet, then you will have nothing to worry about. Give us your tight little cunt and ass without complaint, and we will do our best to be gentle with you.”

Giselle whimpered, tears spilling down her cheeks as Vrix watched her with a smile.

“Please, I just want to go home,” she pleaded, before Thase jerked her again.

“You will not be returning to Earth, and if you say it one more time, I will collar you.”

She tried to stifle her sobs, terror streaming through her. She didn’t know what that meant, but Vrix had warned her about it. The collar had done something to the last human who wore it, a human who was now dead.

“I-I’m sorry,” she said, desperate to be rid of Thase, but not wanting to anger him further.

He eased up his grip on her hair, blessed relief washing over her aching neck.

“Of course you are. Where do you belong?” he asked.

“O-On your ship.”

“And who do you belong to?”

“You and Vrix.”

There was a moment of silence before a slap echoed through the room, pain radiating up her spine from where he had smacked her ass.

“Good girl,” he whispered before releasing her, trundling out of the bed. He glanced at Vrix. “I trust you can keep an eye on her.”

Vrix rolled his eyes.

“Of course I can.”

“Good,” Thase said, then exited through a door that whooshed open without another word.

Giselle was frozen in Vrix’s arms, the futility of her situation settling like a brick in her stomach.

He brushed his fingers through her hair, humming lightly.

It was strange to see him up close, the vicious spikes poking out of his head like he was some sort of demon.

The slitted pupils were eerie, as was the way he stared at her, like she was the most interesting thing in the universe.

His skin was warm to the touch, but hard, not soft like her own body.

“Where are we going?” she asked when she built up the courage to speak again.

“To Occaro X7! Did you forget already?”

She hadn’t forgotten, just didn’t understand what he had meant by that.

“What is that?”

Vrix smiled at her, squeezing her tightly like she was his favorite toy.

“It is a very nice planet. You will enjoy it. We will be arriving in a few days, though we must stop to refuel first.”

“Why? Why are you taking me there?”

He blinked rapidly, as if he didn’t understand her queries.

“It is where we live now. Our home. Though, I suppose we can go elsewhere if you don’t like it. We’ve been trying to find a… pet… for some time now, but we have been unsuccessful.”

Unsuccessful.

Because they killed every human they abducted.

“Why do you want a human p-pet?”

What kind of sick experiments would they subject her to? Could it be worse than what they’d done to the other humans on their ship?

“Because it is enjoyable. We had intended on finding a new incubator, but…” Vrix trailed off.

A wave of nausea washed over Giselle, even though her stomach was grumbling with hunger.

“What do you mean by incubator?”

He narrowed his eyes.

“Well, the human womb is an ideal location for a clutch of Dalgur eggs. We deliver them through our sensory tentacles and inseminate them with our sperm. Artificial wombs work, of course, but a living one is much more pleasurable.”

She swallowed the bile bubbling in her throat, tried to focus on his warm arms around her body, his fingers brushing through her hair.

When she said nothing, he continued.

“You do not appear to have a womb, unlike other human females. Why is that?”

She answered, mumbling like she was in a trance.

“I had a hysterectomy. The pain… I have endometriosis and the pain was too much. I finally just decided to get the surgery, since I didn’t want to have children.”

“Hysterectomy?”

She focused back on his gleaming red eyes.

“Doctors removed my uterus and cervix.”

Vrix nodded.

“Ah, I understand now. I was confused when I examined you. You did not wish to hatch a brood?”

The words ignited the swells of nausea once more.

“No, I did not. I don’t like children and… well, I didn’t think my boyfriend liked them either. I mean, my ex-boyfriend.”

Thoughts of Anthony welled emotion in her chest, a knot choking her even as her new circumstances were much more dire. She could die, be irreparably harmed by these monsters, and she still cared about him. The one who had gotten her into this mess in the first place without even knowing.

Was he worried about her? Was she a missing person now? He probably didn’t even care, didn’t bother to call the police to tell them she was gone…

“Ex-boyfriend?” Vrix asked, his soft voice full of curiosity.

“My, uh, former romantic partner.”

He narrowed his eyes like he was trying to understand.

“Romantic partner?”

“Oh, um, you know, someone you have an emotional bond with. Intimacy, companionship and all that.”

All things she’d been missing with Anthony, now that she said them out loud.

Vrix nodded for a long while, as if gears were turning in his head.

“Dalgurs do not take romantic partners. We are encouraged to mix our seed and eggs so we can spread our broods across the galaxy, but we do not form intimate bonds. It is not our way.”

He paused, his voice catching for a second before he continued.

“Thase and I have hatched many clutches together…” He gripped her hip, a tentacle extending from his arm and slithering to her lower stomach. “I had hoped we could hatch one in you, but perhaps the pleasure you give us will do.”

Well, there it was, what Thase had mentioned before. They wanted her to hatch their weird little brood of eggs, but she was barren. God, she had been happy to get the hysterectomy, but now she was fucking ecstatic.

While the thought of being filled by Vrix and Thase was not as unappealing as it should have been, the image of little aliens bursting through her stomach like some horrific sci-fi movie made her want to throw up.

“You’ve… hatched clutches with Thase? I thought you were both male?”

“All Dalgurs are intersex. We create eggs and sperm and can reproduce with ourselves, though it is highly frowned upon. Genetic diversity is important.”

Giselle’s stomach rumbled again, and Vrix eyed her warily, his tentacle still brushing through the hair at her mound, dangerously close to her entrance.

“You are hungry?”

“Yes,” she nodded, clearing her throat. “And thirsty. And I need to go to the bathroom.”

Dried seed still coated her inner thighs and ass, an uncomfortable sensation.

He sat up, dragging her with him.

“This room is for you, sweet one.”

“My name is Giselle.”

“Oh, Giselle, yes, Giselle. A very pretty name for our pretty little pet.”

It was all too much, this alien horror movie that she couldn’t turn off. She gulped in a ragged breath, trying not to let fear overtake her.

Vrix must have noticed, because he wrapped his tentacles around her neck and she felt peace envelop her once more, numbing her mind and warming her limbs.

“Do not worry. Your anxiety scents the air, so sweet, so delicious. But we will take care of you.”

Take care of her. As if they’d done such a good job with the other humans.

He stepped out of the bed, heading for the chrome door Thase had exited through.

“Dalgurs do not need bathrooms in the sense that humans do, but I have created one for you.” He pointed at another silver door on the other side of the room. “We have learned a lot since our first pet. I will return with food and water.”

He made a move to leave, but she stopped him with a shout.

“Wait! What about my clothes? Can I have them back?”

She clutched the sheet to her chest, suddenly shy even after all that had occurred.

“You will not need them. We have configured the temperature conditions of the ship to your body.”

The room was a comfortable temperature, but that wasn’t the only reason she wanted her dress back. Before she could argue, Vrix nodded.

“I will be back soon.”

And then he was gone, and Giselle was alone in the room.
