35. Chapter 30

Damion

“Son. You have to stop this. Accept this life and stop trying to change it. Evie put herself into it. So now she has only one choice: you can’t save her, so stop trying.

She needs to show her worth. Let her complete the tasks.

She has to or should I give you the gun to pull the trigger before it even starts.

” My father waves the gun around like it’s some dog treat.

“What kind of tasks? I ask.”

He shakes his head and leans back on his desk.

“That’s not your concern son. You need to grow our turf and stop letting others, man handle you.

Your a laughing stock to my fucking name.

” He flexes his fingers to show our gang's tattoo. “Let her show she can handle it and you have nothing to worry about. Don’t think I don’t know that you five haven’t been training her.

If you trained her right she will succeed as each of you have. Put her skills to the test.”

I look my father in the eyes. “She’ll kill you all.” I snap. “Don’t underestimate what’s mine.” I walk out, storming down the halls. It’s on and my girl will show everyone how very wrong they are about her.
