The Agent
I gasped as Mateo plunged into me. I hadn’t gotten a look at his dick before he flipped me over.
I just heard the zip of his pants and the crinkle of a wrapper.
But, the one that filled me was inches thicker and longer than what I was used to.
One thrust alone, and the head of his dick was already hitting my pelvis.
I wriggled underneath his hand, trying to lift my upper body up. “Mateo.”
He applied more pressure on the back of my neck, keeping me pinned down against the mattress. “Uh-uh,” he said, his deep voice sending pulses straight to my pussy. “You’re gonna shut the fuck up and take this dick.” He pulled back a few inches and thrust himself right back in. “You understand?”
The mix of pain and pleasure from his movement sent me into a trance. I nodded, willing to do anything he said so long as it meant he’d keep going.
“Good girl,” he said, giving me another harsh thrust. He let me adjust to his size and stride, gradually picking up the pace.
Balancing myself on my knees and chest, I did my best to keep up with him. I arched my back when he pulled back and shoved my hips backward when he came for me, meeting him halfway. Our skin collided against each other over and over, my ass cheeks clapping with every crash.
His dick tensed inside of me, and his fingers dug deeper into the sides of my neck. “Shit, Simone,” he groaned.
A smile tugged at my lips as I threw my ass back harder, faster. I didn’t want to be the only one seeing stars. I wanted to make him see a galaxy too.
The hand on the back of my neck slithered around to the front, cupping my throat in his fingers. Forcing my head back, he squeezed tight and picked up the pace.
“Fuck,” I whimpered as my airflow grew scarce and stars twirled around the edges of my vision. “Mateo!”
“Mhm, baby, this is what you like, isn’t it?” His hand slipped over my hip and slithered between my thighs.
I could barely speak when his fingers twirled around my clit. Pleasure sprung through my body like lightning, shocking every single nerve. My mouth hung open, incomprehensible moans slipping out of it as I gasped for air he wouldn’t let me have.
“That’s right, baby, cum for me,” he encouraged.
His voice pushed me over the edge, sending me straight into the sparkling ocean of euphoria.
He let me writhe on his dick, fucking and choking me through my orgasm. His thrusts slowed with my trembles, only coming to a stop when they did.
“Hm,” I mumbled as my lower half collapsed onto the cushions.
“Hold on now,” Mateo said. He flipped me onto my back and grabbed my ankles, hoisting both of them up over his shoulders. “Who said I was done with you?”
My eyes rolled to the back of my head as he plunged into me again. In this position, there wasn’t much I could do besides let him drag me up and down to the rhythm he set.
Mateo wasn’t one to hold back. At the higher angle, his thrusts gained more momentum, driving his dick harder and faster inside of me.
Though my pussy was sensitive from the last orgasm, I sure as hell didn’t mind. The lingering sparks intensified the pleasure. My eyes fluttered shut as I threw my head back, giving him complete control.
He leaned down towards me, bending my legs with him. His lips crashed onto mine, and he rolled his hips to purposefully rub himself against my clit.
My legs burned from the straining position, but I didn’t complain. The pleasure was better than any pain I was experiencing.
Our kisses broke as he dove deeper into me. He pressed his lips against my ear. “You got one more in there for me?” He asked.
I couldn’t find the words to respond. My head was still reeling from the last two orgasms, and here he was about to coax out another.
Incomprehensible moans were the only things I was able to get out of my mouth.
I gripped his biceps as he picked up speed, each thrust sending me deeper and deeper into the mattress.
I didn’t want him to stop. Not when he was fucking me like this.
“Fuck,” he grumbled, close to a climax his damn self. His dick pulsed inside of me, trying to restrain from exploding as my cum drenched him again.
He shifted his head and sank his teeth into my neck. His throat rumbled as he moaned into my skin. His hot cum shoved against the film of the condom, trying to break out to coat my walls.
My legs fell from his shoulders as he released his hold on them.
He lingered on top of me for a moment, his breaths heavy and uneven.
“Damn,” I muttered, struggling to catch my own breath. “You sure know how to wear a girl out.”
Mateo chuckled. “So, I’ve been told.” He rolled off and lay on his back beside me. Relaxing, he stretched out his legs and cupped his hands behind his head. The silver light of the moon coming through the windows spilled over his umber brown skin, illuminating every single scar.
I scooted closer, eyeing the longer ones scaling across his chest. Raising my hand, I asked, “May I?”
“Sure.”
Textures switched underneath my fingertips as I traced over his skin. Some of his scars were slightly protruding and smooth while others dented his skin, creating tiny crevices. Then there were the rare, untouched patches, softer than a flower’s petal.
“What happened?” I asked.
“For which one? They’ve all got a story.”
My fingers trailed up his chin to his cheek. “This one,” I said, brushing my thumb over the one slashing through his eye.
“Punishment.”
“For…”
“Defiance.”
“A story is not one word, you know?”
“I don’t like talking about that one.”
I frowned. “I’m sorry. Whatever you did, I’m sure it wasn’t bad enough to deserve the pain that left this behind.”
He stared at me, something new flickering in his dark eyes. He moved his hands from behind his head and started to sit up. “I should go,” he said.
“Wait,” I said, the thought slipping out before I could catch it.
He paused, his brow raising as he looked over his shoulder.
“Will you stay?” I asked. My voice sounded so small. I could only imagine how needy and pathetic I looked, naked and begging for company. The image alone made me regret saying anything. I averted my eyes, preparing for the blow of rejection.
A thick silence fell over the room, swatting away some of the euphoric clouds floating through the air. The sheet crinkled under his weight as he shifted on the edge of the bed.
“Sure,” he finally answered. He lay back down, one arm slithering around me while the other went back behind his head. “But, I’ll need to leave before the sun comes up.”
I couldn’t stop the smile from forming as he pulled me against his chest. “Why? Are you a vampire or something?”
“Or something.” His fingertips traced up and down my spine, his touch lighter than a feather. The gentleness was both surprising and comforting. I wasn’t sure I deserved it after the night we’ve had.
“Mateo,” I whispered.
“Hm?”
“I want you to know I had nothing to do with the ambush earlier. I was just as blindsided as you.”
“Oh,” he said. “Then, I guess I owe you an apology for shooting up your couch, huh?”
“You owe me a new couch.” I tilted my head back to look him in the eye. “But, I was wondering, since you clearly wanted my head on a silver platter, why didn’t you take it? Why did you surrender, instead?”
He stared at me for a moment, his face stoic but some of the shade raised in his eyes. The tiniest bit of emotion shined through it for a second as he debated sharing the answer - then, it snapped back shut. “You should get some rest.”
I almost frowned. Although I wasn’t necessarily surprised, I was disappointed at how quickly he closed himself off again. Maybe one day he’d be willing to show me who he was on the inside. “Will you… Will you be back?”
“Of course.” He kissed the top of my head. “I’ll always come back for you.”
Smiling, I closed my eyes. His heart beat steadily in my ears, the sound reminiscent of a lullaby.
I slowly drifted off, comfortable and safe in his embrace.
He was gone when I woke up. Although I was expecting that, my chest still stung at the sight of the empty space where his body once was.
Color on my nightstand caught my groggy gaze as I lifted myself up and stretched.
After rubbing the crust and blur out of my eyes, I noticed a water bottle, a plate covered with aluminum foil and a bottle of ibuprofen sitting there.
Perched against the water bottle was a note that read: Be back soon.
Smiling, I undid the foil on the plate. There wasn’t much in my fridge, so I was curious what he managed to whip up.
A small pile of pancakes, a few slabs of bacon, and a mound of mixed fruit lay beneath the silver covering. Some steam still hovered over the food, a sign he hadn’t left too long ago.
Warmth burned in the pit of my stomach as I stared down at the tiny but thoughtful breakfast. For someone who supposedly wanted to kill me, he sure was going through an awful lot to keep me alive.
“Door open,” the automated voice on my security system called from downstairs.
My brows came together at the sound. Did Mateo come back already?
“Simone!” Gabriel’s voice echoed through the house. “Si - where the fuck did your couch go? Simone!”
Sighing, I rolled my eyes and hopped out of bed. I grabbed the sweatshirt hanging on my vanity dresser and pulled it over my body. “Get out!” I yelled.
At the sound of my voice, his footsteps barreled up the steps.
I closed and locked my room door before he could reach it.
“Come on, Simone,” he pleaded from the other side. “I know you’re mad, but I need you to listen to me for five seconds.”
“Why?”
“Your murderer somehow escaped federal custody.”
“You know what, good for him. The fuck does that have to do with me?”
“He left two bodies on the side of the highway. You don’t think he’s coming for you next?”
I reluctantly opened the door, revealing my best friend’s face, pale with worry. “Wait, what? Two agents are dead?”
He nodded. “Knife through the throat on one and a bullet to the head on the other. Found their car abandoned a few miles down from the bodies in the parking lot of some dive bar - and it took us some time to do that. The asshole disarmed the GPS.”
My brows rose with every word. “He…he killed them?”
“Hell, yeah he killed them. He’s a fucking hitman! What else did you expect?”
“I…I mean last night, he didn’t seem…”
“Last night was a ruse, Simone. Like the date he sabotaged and the game he played with you in Vegas. He’s trying to take you out when you least expect it. The element of surprise is part of this sick game he thinks you two are playing. Don’t tell me you can’t see that.”
Unfortunately, I did. Last night, Mateo had the perfect opportunity to kill me and he didn’t take it. I may not understand why just yet, but I could see Gabriel’s theory being part of it.
“Look, you need to pack a bag,” Gabriel continued. “You’re not safe here.”
“Well, where am I supposed to go?”
“Logan is making arrangements for a hotel room for tonight, but tomorrow we’ll probably move you to a more secure location.”
“Why does this sound like you’re putting me in witness protection? I can take care of myself!”
“No offense, Simone, but after last night, none of us are too sure about that.”
My chest stung as if he’d punched me. I crossed my arms to ease the blow. “Fine,” I muttered. I was too tired and sore to argue with him right now.
Besides, I doubted moving me would do any good. No matter how far I went, Mateo was going to find me.
And the fucked up part of me hoped he’d do it soon.
