21. Leela #2

The Viperess stayed silent.

“Tell me, Leela—” Rajesh pulled back, placing his hands on either side of Leela and bobbing down so he glanced up at her, the look that destroyed Leela on most occasions, “have you thought of me? Once? Twice…? Of our bodies writhing together once more?”

Leela held still. She wasn’t going to do anything until she heard from the Viperess. She couldn’t trust her.

Rajesh’s eyes shimmered with the same heat and want. “I have been denied by you all this time, and now all I want is you. I am giving you one chance, Leela. The Scorpion is gone. He promises not to bother us. My hands are yours to do with.”

Leela placed her palm on his chest to stop him. It was probably too late. He was already so close.

“Give in.” He moved closer, breath hot against her trembling lips. “Let me in. Let me forget all those moments I’ve been alone. All I’ve thought about was you and what my tongue, fingers, and body did to you. Let me have you arching your back for me and screaming my name.”

The sincerity in his tone was enough for Leela to know it was true.

This was beyond seducing now. Rajesh had spent those nights dreaming and wishing for her to come back.

And so had Leela. Whenever she touched herself, it was Rajesh’s hand and lips on her parts.

It was him twisting deeper and deeper inside her until all she could do was collapse.

He had merely been a thought. A phantom. And now here he was. In the flesh. Telling her it was just him without a Flame guiding his wishes.

And so was Leela.

“Make the first move, damiji,” Rajesh whispered, the water lapping at the bottom of her breasts. “Give in to me.”

Leela knew she couldn’t hold on any longer. Her impulses were too strong, her wounds of heartache still healing. And she needed him to tear them wide open.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing her body against his. She felt him. All of him against her, and suddenly it was all she needed.

“I’m alone too,” Leela whispered back.

That was all Rajesh needed to sweep her up in his arms and pull her against his chest. With one hand supporting her back and the other on the edge of the pool, he closed the distance and tasted her.

She twisted her fingers through his hair, the smooth ends curling around her arched fingers, and tugged hard enough to elicit a small moan. Their kisses were messy, lips bashing against one another. They hadn’t tasted the other in so long—and it was as if they had been dying of thirst.

Flames, it felt so good to have him pressed against her. His muscles. His lips. His touch.

Leela wanted him. Wanted to make him yearn.

She moved her hands from his hair over his broad shoulders and down his chest. She felt every part of him until she reached under the water, pausing as she felt his member harden against her fingers.

Oh fuck.

She pulled back and looked down.

She had forgotten what it was like to have him inside her and she remembered the feeling. All of it, hitting her spots that made her scream his name.

All the worry about the Viperess coming out diminished, and she knew she was alone with Rajesh.

It was just them.

Only them underneath the setting sun in the bathing chambers.

Only them, after years of loneliness, now spurred on by the tension that had been building and building over the past few days.

All these years, she had dreamed of his lips against hers and what he tasted like.

Oddly enough, he tasted like sweat and water, but it was a taste she could get lost in for hours.

At least, until all he tasted like was her.

She wrapped her hand around his shaft, and Rajesh bucked, leaning on her shoulder.

“Fuck,” he groaned, gritting his teeth with a hiss. “Go easy on me, damiji. It’s been a while with you. I don’t want to rush this if it could be our last time.”

“Then let’s make it count.”

Glee swirled in his eyes, and Leela knew her walls had crumbled. She was too far gone. Too deeply in love with the man she was meant to spend the rest of her life with, and also meant to kill.

She searched his gaze until her hand wrapped around him, fingertips molding with his quivering member.

A gentle groan was emitted from his lips as he pressed himself into her and the edge of the pool.

His shoulders tensed, fingers clenching to hold himself steady.

Leela felt his breath against her neck, and she tipped her head back to revel in the sensation.

“Fuck, Leela, I forgot how good you felt.” Rajesh moved up and cupped her chin, his thumb against her cheek sending trails of heat sparking down to her toes.

Flames. Her skin ignited, her chest aching and fingers tightening against his scalp to keep herself steady.

She wanted to taste him better, to taste all of him and trace his every curve and edge.

She wanted him bucking and yearning, pleading and begging, and for him to give her everything.

Because she was willing to give him everything, every piece of her, every dark impulse and desire.

“Kiss me,” she whispered.

“S—sorry?” he said, breathless.

“Kiss. Me. While you fuck me.”

Rajesh didn’t need to be told twice, he smashed his lips against hers, tugging at her bottom lip with his teeth.

Leela crashed into the edge of the pool, sliding against the marble until Rajesh steadied her with his hips. She wrapped her legs around him, pulling him closer, and he did too.

He tasted like salt from the sand, merged with the water and sweat from before, and he was all hers. Every inch of him was pressed against her, and she knew this was where she was meant to be—tucked against his chest and lost in the bliss of him.

He parted her lips wider and let his tongue flicker against hers. Spit merged with spit. Organs against organ. It was messy and complicated, but felt so right.

The kiss deepened, knocking the air from her lungs. He was suddenly all she cared about. All she wished to understand and uncover.

A raw heat blanketed in the passion of the kiss. A kiss she felt so ignited by. The type she’d only ever read about in books and heard about in tales of the Flames when they were together. It was the sort of kiss Leela knew she’d remember forever.

Their tongues tangled as Rajesh grasped her hips and hoisted her onto the edge of the pool, lips briefly leaving hers.

Leela’s head spun, her insides churning with uncontrollable hunger, fueled only by his touch. She grabbed his arms, feeling the heaving biceps as they lifted her.

Rajesh held her gaze as he grasped her hips, as if to hold her steady.

Her body responded in ways she was unsure of, but she let it. She let the primal urges rush through her as he lowered his face between her legs. His lips started at her knee, working their way up along her thigh, and paused at her nether region.

Leela tensed. Heat traveled along her skin with each of his breaths against her.

She tipped her head back as she reveled in his touch and soaked in the bliss swimming in her veins.

Her pulse quickened the harder he descended.

With each stroke of his tongue, she felt herself growing wetter and wetter, each moan a string of ecstasy.

Rajesh met her gaze again. “You can tell me to stop if you need to.”

Leela shook her head. It was too late to go back. The smell of him consumed her, urging her to find release. Her body needed him. Needed him to please her. To put out the flames writhing within her.

Rajesh put a hand on her hip and another against her thigh, spreading her legs wider so he could flick his tongue against her bud.

Leela’s back arched, her body giving in to the touch.

Her breath caught in her throat as Rajesh’s tongue continued to work with the sensation swelling between her legs.

Pleasure cast every thought and doubt from her mind as she focused on him.

His tongue moved in precise circles, his hand on her thigh gripping tighter as her body reacted to the pressure blossoming at his touch.

The urge to grab him and deepen the movement drew her eyes to his.

She raked her gaze over his frame, his broadened shoulders, his arms holding her steady, and the slight curling of locks in front of his face as he smiled.

She came undone in that moment.

“Easy, damiji.”

She would not lay down easily. She needed more.

Needed her release as she imagined the last few years and the current state of events between them vanishing.

A flicker of an image of a dagger being driven into his spine made her falter, and she wondered if this was still the right thing to do. It would be so easy to kill a vulnerable man while he was too busy pleasuring her.

Leela shivered, and she let out a shaky breath along with the thought of killing Rajesh. The shiver intensified as he moved his hand from her hip to her breast, his thumb stroking her aroused nipple. Leela writhed, tuning into the touch. The sensation. The need.

She felt him smile against her skin. Her fingers pulled at his curls, urging him deeper. She needed to focus instead of the looming issues of the Viperess.

“I guess I’ve found a way to make you ignite,” Rajesh said.

Leela looked at him between her thighs. “I guess you have.”

In one swift motion, Rajesh pulled her back into the water, crashing his lips against hers once more. His tongue found hers, pushing into her mouth and grazing at her teeth. She tasted what he had done to her, and she moaned louder.

“You’re a tease…” she said. Leela pressed closer to his body, feeling all of him. She snaked her hands down his chest, feeling every muscle of his tighten. She loved what she did to him—her fingertips a brush, and his skin her canvas she wished to paint with pleasure.

“You finally gave in,” Leela whispered.

“It was a war I was always going to lose, damiji.”

Her body melted against his, his words and breath too hot for her to handle. She wanted to give him everything. To be whatever he needed. To do whatever was needed to stay in this moment longer.

So she did.
