LEELA #2
Rajesh chuckled, but scooped her up and walked her back to the bed.
He pressed her into the mattress, and she felt her body liquefy under his touch.
His fingers moved down, along her abdomen, ribcage, and navel, leaving a trail of thick heat, until he entered a finger inside her.
Each stroke sent a flame blazing through her, pulsing with desire and causing her head to spin too quickly for her to focus.
“Fuck, Leela, you’re already prepared,” he said.
Leela writhed with heat, letting the want consume her.
She didn’t want to talk. Just wanted him inside.
She finally had control of her body again, and she knew the way through the shimmering glass.
All this time, all she’d needed was Rajesh to keep her grounded.
His lips were all the assurance she needed to know he would always be her salvation.
Now, all she needed to do was hold the Viperess back and ensure the Flame wouldn’t destroy this moment with Rajesh.
Leela pulled his lips back to hers, swallowing his urgency and lust. She leaned into his touch as his fingers worked their way inside her and his thumb caressed her bud. Her hips arched, body succumbing to his ministrations. Her heart raced along with the threads of desire.
Leela moaned, her body responding to the ecstasy. She sank into the feeling of him, all of him as he entered. She didn’t care about anything. The Flames. Scouring the deserts. Where his hands were, just as long as they kept her steady.
Pleasure burst through her and became an inescapable moan. She grasped his arms and braced against his weight. She then threaded her fingers through his short strands of hair, tugging them to elicit a small groan that only thickened the heat driving through her.
“Steady, damiji,” Rajesh said, hot breath against her ear.
“I don’t want to be steady,” Leela said. “And I don’t want to talk either.”
Rajesh pulled back, a seductive twinkle in his eye. “There’s my girl.”
The words cut away any doubt inside Leela, and she thrusted her hips into his. She felt safe in his embrace, their heartbeats merging into one as he ground his hips against hers. He pumped faster and faster, steady then slow, then slammed right back into her.
The air was sucked from her lungs.
Each thrust was a statement. An urgency to say she was his and he was hers.
A possessive groan.
An electrifying hunger Leela couldn’t satisfy.
He tugged on her hair. She tugged on his back.
He thrust and she groaned. Each moan was given with an urgency, telling him to make her reach her peak.
His eyes burned with a lust only she could stroke.
It was his eyes that almost brought her over the edge.
He made her more desperate than she had imagined.
It was this desperation that Leela craved, making everything fall away as she claimed him as hers.
Their lips smashed against the other, messy and unhinged. Fingers struggled to hold steady. Bodies arched, desperate to please.
A desperation this wild could not be tamed, and Leela felt it as their fingers trailed one another, urging the other to melt.
She reached up to cusp the back of his head.
His lips were a breath from hers, warmth funneling between them.
She wanted to tell him she loved him. That she would push everything aside to be with him.
There were more things Leela wished to say but couldn’t.
Leela wanted to—Flames, she wanted to say what was on her mind, but how could she?
Oh, fucking Flames!
“Come on, Leela, show me the Viperess you really are,” Rajesh said. “Or do I need to scream your name?”
“You don’t have to scream my name, just scream.”
Rajesh chuckled seductively, spurring her on.
She caught his sloppy lips between her own.
Their fingers moved, bodies writhing without much knowledge of anything around them.
All their suppressed passions had boiled down to this, and it was all Leela needed.
Desire burned everything inside her. Every vessel.
Every vein. Making her hotter than the desert, and she didn’t care.
He kissed her, taking her in as if he couldn’t breathe without her—and she couldn’t without him.
She moaned. “Rajesh.”
Rajesh picked up his pace, hands moving to the mattress to hold himself steady.
Leela lifted her legs, forcing them higher so he could get deeper.
“Damiji,” he whispered. He muffled her whimpers with his mouth.
She was about to come undone.
Leela grabbed onto the back of the bed, trying to steady herself as she began to cum. Flames, she wanted to cum. Her toes curled. Lips quivered.
Their gazes locked onto one another, and she was sucked into his orbs as though they were a sandstorm, swirling and making her dizzy beyond comprehension. A deep hunger burned in his eyes.
She didn’t know how much longer she could hold on.
“Come for me, Leela,” he said.
Her moans filled the room. “Rajesh…. I… I… I think…”
Rajesh’s arms tensed, his muscles flexing. He slipped in and out of her several more times before he tilted his head back, moaned, and released on the bed beside her.
Panting, he fell against Leela, chest pressed against hers.
Leela wrapped her arms around him and twirled the strands of his hair against the nape of his neck. She felt his muscles contract, and she tensed. She tried to hold onto this moment for just a little longer, not wanting it to end.
Rajesh sighed and locked her in his gaze of hazed desire. Her insides writhed, slowly burrowing down every sense of self-doubt.
She bit her lip, realizing she was about to say some very important words. Words she wasn’t meant to say, not after the last time when he trampled on her heart. She wished she’d never thought of them and swallowed them back into the pits of her mind. But she was caught in the moment.
Leela shuffled from under Rajesh and sat up. She pulled her knees to her chest and glanced out the window, unable to look at him.
Rajesh leaned up to grasp and rest his chin on her shoulder. “Everything okay?”
Leela bit her lip harder. She couldn’t admit it. She couldn’t say she loved him. Not again. Not for him to then turn on her and break her heart again.
When she turned to speak to him, he wasn’t there.
A thud echoed off the walls.
“Rajesh!” she cried out, scrambling to the edge of the bed. She peered over and gasped. “Rajesh!”
Rajesh writhed on his back. Fingers digging into his skull. He tore at his scalp, teeth glistening in the sun rays.
Leela watched, helpless, as he bucked and coiled in on himself. His shadows flipped and flickered, like an open flame struggling to stay alive.
“What’s happening?” she questioned. “What can I do?”
Rajesh screamed. His mouth opened, wide enough to almost rip the skin of his cheeks.
Leela flinched and covered her ears. Something was wrong. Something was terribly wrong, and she wasn’t sure if this was because of their previous endeavors or if he was creating a monster. No. This had to be the sandstorm.
“Rajesh?” Leela asked when his screams finally ended. She peered over the edge, half expecting him to be gone or for a monster to stand in his place.
Rajesh lay there, sweat dampening the carpet and strands of hair matted against his face. His breathing was rapid. Chest heaving and fingers shaking.
“Rajesh…” Leela said, tone drowned in sympathy as she jumped from the bed and landed at his side. Hesitantly, she steadied her hand over his shoulder.
He flinched. “Don’t.”
Leela recoiled as though she had been slapped. She sat up as Rajesh rolled over and grabbed his shirt. He pulled his pants back on and stood by the window, a hand on his hip and fingers embedded in his hair. He continued to take deep breaths, each one shuddering through him.
Leela didn’t know whether to approach him or let him be. What happened? What monster had he birthed?
“Rajesh,” Leela said, almost demanding him to look at her or at least speak. “What happened? Did I—”
“No,” Rajesh said, shutting his eyes. He wiped his hands down his face, fingers still shaking.
The look haunted Leela. She watched as he stood there and gazed at his hands as if he were afraid of them. Tears sat in the depths of his eyes and sweat continued to slide down his face and back.
Slowly, Leela uncoiled herself from the floor. She draped her shirt back on and wandered over. She raised a hand over his shoulder to see if he would shrink away again. He looked like a wounded animal about to collapse and break under her touch.
Leela bit her lip. She didn’t know what to say or do as the air shimmered between them. All the vulnerable edges of their past had come collapsing down on the bed only moments ago, but this… this was different. Something was terribly wrong.
“Rajesh,” Leela said, licking her lips. “Please.”
Rajesh shook his head. “I… I… I can’t do this.”
Leela frowned. What did he mean by that?
He finally turned and met her gaze. She drowned all over again, this time by an emotional weight she couldn’t comprehend. Oh yes, something was terribly wrong.
“What happened?” she asked, cautious so as not to spook him. “What did you create?”
A tear slid down his face. He shut his eyes and bit his lip, a crease burrowing between his brows. When he pulled himself together, he looked out the window and let out a hiss between his teeth.
Leela broke. The man whose every version she had come to love was breaking—no, collapsing—before her.
“What happened?” she urged.
“I didn’t mean to,” Rajesh said. “I didn’t know I could… But I did. I created it.”
“Created what?”
“I knew about the other emotions. About anger. Fury. Lust and anxiety. But not love.” He locked his gaze with hers. “Never love.”
“I don’t understand,” Leela said, dropping her hand. What did he mean ‘love’? Before their voyage, he had been adamant on never being able to love her because it might lead to heartbreak. He had never mentioned a monster born of love.
