Chapter 21 #2
“Oh shit. Oh shit. Here I cummmmmmm.” I sang as the feeling had my eyes rolling, body jerking and most of all, I was in complete ecstasy.
“You better not get rid of this baby.” He flipped me over, wrapped my legs around his back, leaned over to kiss me, and dug so deep I had to let out a scream.
“It’s you and me forever Kateri. Do you understand? No one else.” He put one hand around my throat as his pelvis was banging into mine.
“Cairo.”
“Do you understand what I said? It’s me and you..” The faster and harder he went, the more I told him to squeeze. Digging my nails in his arms, I needed him to know he had my full attention and that his words were heard.
“I’m not going anywhere. I love you Cairoooooo.
Yessssss.” He crashed his mouth on mine and I could feel him leaving his babies inside.
Tonight was the first time we ever had sex without using protection.
I guess he was serious about having kids with me.
After calming down, he moved on the side and we laid there in silence.
“Move in with me.” Lifting my head, I stared up at him to see if he were serious.
“In here?” I didn’t know if he thought I’d be some mistress he could fuck on whenever he wanted because that was not happening.
“You and I both know this ain’t my house.” I sat up and wrapped the sheet around me.
“Cairo, are you sure? I’ve never not lived with my mother and I don’t wanna be kicked out if we have an argument.” I explained without making it a long drawn out reason.
“I’d never kick the mother of my kids out or my wife.” I don’t know why his words made me cry.
“What you crying for? I know you’re not pregnant yet.” Popping him on the arm, I wiped my tears and rested my head on his chest.
“I have to tell you something Cairo and I don’t want you to get upset.”
“Hold that thought.” His phone rang and I’m not gonna lie, a little jealousy took over thinking it was another chick.
“Yo!” He answered. I was happy to know it wasn’t because whoever it was must’ve told him what he wanted to hear. Cairo hung up and said he had to leave for business. It was two in the morning but I understood his position and didn’t question it.
“I’m not sure when I’ll be home but here’s the key to my house. Make sure you’re there when I get home.”
“I don’t even know the address and what if they don’t let me in.” I spoke of the guards at the gate. When me and Sariah did that drive by, I noticed a lot of security around. She told me now that Raul had her staying with him, she saw even more and they were in places you would never think to look.
“I’m on the same street as Raul and trust me, they all know who you are.
” He got out the bed and told me to shower with him again.
When we finished, he had me go to his car and grab a black bag from the trunk.
It had paperwork he needed to go over before he went to wherever he was going.
I put a pair of his boxers and went to get it. Closing the trunk something felt off.
“You’re gonna die Bitch.” I heard someone say. Turning around to look but making sure not to move from in front of the house, there wasn’t anyone there.
“Who’s there?” I don’t know why I asked that question. Closing the trunk, I fell running toward the door.
“Ahhhhh shit.” I felt a pain in my leg and another one on my arm. Hurrying to get inside, I locked the door and ran upstairs to tell Cairo. I had to hurry up so he could catch whoever the person was.
“Yea, I’ll be there in a few. Kateri grabbing the bag for me while I get dressed.” I heard Cairo talking and saw he was on the phone when I entered the room.
“Babe… someone was…” I was outta breath from running up the steps.
“Hold on.” He turned and a fearful look on his face had me scared.
“Yo, send a doctor here ASAP.” He tossed the phone on the dresser and had me sit down.
“You’re gonna be fine.”
“Huh? Cairo someone is outside and…” Suddenly my vision was becoming blurry and Cairo was placing a belt on my leg.
“Nooo, don’t use the brand new belts.” Cairo started laughing at me.
“You’ve been shot and this is the only thing I can use as a tourniquet:” Shot? Was he serious? Why would someone shoot me? The pain started to increase and it felt like I was dying. Then again, I may be because I’ve never been shot or experienced any pain of this magnitude.
“Am I gonna die?” Cairo put the belt on my leg tight as hell and so was the one he started to put on my arm.
Not sure what was going on, I felt Cairo lifting me up and carrying me down the steps. Placing me on the couch, his phone was going off nonstop but he refused to answer. Hearing what sounded like a gun being cocked, I looked and saw Cairo with a huge one walking toward the door.
“Stay down.” He opened it and all I heard was shooting. Rolling over to hit the ground, my head bounced off the marble floor. I don’t even know why I moved when lying on the couch seemed to be working.
“Where is she?” I heard a male voice that sounded like Cairo but I couldn’t say.
“Kateri?” Not being able to move because I most likely knocked myself out, I laid there with my eyes open staring at the wall. Was I really going to die before telling Cairo the truth about me?
