Chapter 26 The Consecutive Missions
After Kendall fainted, Helen, who was standing next to her, not only didn't show any signs of panic but even had a look of triumph on her face.
She walked around Kendall and even kicked her with her foot.
When she saw that Kendall was completely unconscious and didn't move, Helen said to herself with a hint of confusion, "Why did the medicine work so fast this time?"
But when she saw Kendall's fair and beautiful face under the hat, Helen's confusion was instantly replaced by greed. She turned around, locked the front door, and then came back and crouched next to Kendall, taking her phone, the camera hanging around her neck, and her backpack.
The same person who had struggled to carry a twenty-pound bag of cat food, now easily dragged Kendall, who weighed over ninety pounds, into the house.
Helen looked back at Kendall before taking out her phone and dialling a number. As soon as the call was connected, Helen spoke first. "Joe, did you get rid of that last batch of goods?"
"Not yet! It's not that fast!" Joe said in a very irritable tone.
"But we have to get them all out by tonight at the latest. It's not safe here anymore!"
"Come to my place. I just got another one," Helen said in a commanding tone, which was completely different from the loving and kind voice she had used with Kendall.
Joe was surprised. "Where did you get her from? You didn't get caught, did you!"
Helen laughed sinisterly. "You don't trust me? She walked right to my door. She's a young, naive college student who came here to take pictures. She's so pretty, even more beautiful than the ones you have. She'll definitely sell for a good price."
Joe was convinced. He and Helen had been partners for many years. It was the same whether they sold one pig or a group of pigs. Joe agreed. "Okay, I'll go check her out later."
In Kendall's mind, the system's voice rang out.

This wasn't the first time Helen had drugged someone. After she finished her call with Joe, she took out some ropes and expertly tied Kendall's hands and feet.
About an hour later, a van stopped in the alley behind Helen's house. A middle-aged man and a young man got out of the car. It was Joe and John, the two men who had just been on the phone.
Helen opened the back door, and the two men cautiously walked in. As soon as Joe entered, he complained, "It's not easy to transport this batch of goods. It's a little difficult for us to have to add someone at the last minute..."
Helen knew he was just pretending to complain to get more money, so she didn't fall for it. She just said, "You'll know when you see her."
Joe looked at her with disdain. He had sold at least eighty pigs over the years. No matter how pretty they were, they were all the same. The two men walked into the living room, not expecting that Helen had openly tied up the girl and placed her by the door.
As soon as they entered, they saw her!
Joe regained composure soon, but a hint of surprise still lingered in his eyes. John, who was not yet married, stared with wide eyes, looking at her with a greedy gaze.
The young woman on the floor was thin and dressed casually. Her skin seemed to glow against her black sweatshirt. Her wavy long hair was spread out on the floor like seaweed, revealing her fair and slender neck.
Even though her eyes were closed and her long eyelashes were down, you could still tell that her oval-shaped face had delicate and beautiful features. She looked young and beautiful, and she also had a certain noble air about her.
You could tell that she was a pampered rich young lady!
Joe looked Kendall up and down, as if he were examining a piece of merchandise, and then nodded in satisfaction. "She is indeed a high-quality product."
"Of course!" Helen said with a hint of pride.
After so many years of traveling, she had developed a sharp eye.
Not only was the girl a high-quality product, but the phone and camera she had taken from her were also expensive brands.
Not to mention, she had also secretly opened the girl's backpack and saw an iPad inside.
Just these few things alone would sell for a lot of money.
Joe told John to carry the girl to the room. Although no one usually came to Helen's house, a girl lying on the floor in broad daylight was still not a good idea.
John had been brought into the business by Joe and had always worked for him. He helped him carry things and drove for him when they transported the goods. When he heard what Joe said, John immediately squatted down and picked her up.
As soon as he touched the girl's soft and light body, a faint scent came from her. This young man, who still hadn't found a wife, felt a little excited.
"How great would it be if she was my wife," he said with a hint of lust in his eyes.
Hearing him, Joe laughed and swore. "Dream on! Do you think you're one of those barbarians living in the mountains?"
John carried the girl into the room and his fingers tightened slightly. "My life is worse than a barbarians."
Thinking that such a beautiful young girl in his arms was going to be sold to old men in the mountains who were in their forties and fifties and had probably never even touched a woman, John felt a sense of unfairness for the first time. He wished that he was the one living in the mountains.
After carrying Kendall into the room, John clearly wanted to do something to her, but the watchful Helen kicked him out.
She wouldn't let John ruin her perfect merchandise. The two men ate lunch at Helen's place and then went out again.
Later in the afternoon, as it got dark, the two men drove the van back and parked it in the alley. There were no surveillance cameras in the area, and no one else was around, so the two men carried Kendall directly into the car.
During this time, Helen gave Kendall another dose of the drug. Her drug was very effective. One dose could make a person sleep for eight hours.
After eight hours, Joe and John would have already found a buyer for her.
The small van quickly left Ruby Road, avoiding the busy roads and taking the deserted old mountain roads towards the more remote Blackwood Village.
