Chapter 70 Divorce Won
Over the next few days, Olivia actively shared anecdotes about her life with Kendall. Occasionally running into each other on the stairs, Olivia's face was glowing and rosy, completely unlike her previous frantic, weak demeanor.
James had been brutally beaten by Kendall that night and then by Olivia. The next day, his entire body was sore, and his face was swollen like a pig's head.
James, being concerned with his image, took sick leave from work, planning to rest at home for a few days.
Olivia had been abused by James the night before, and her body was covered in red marks, making her uncomfortable as well.
But seeing James in pain, Olivia suddenly felt that her own injuries weren't such a big deal. Seeing James lying in bed, Olivia didn't think twice and kicked him.

James had originally requested several days off, but after only two days at home, he couldn't stand it and returned to work. Olivia no longer proactively brought up the divorce. Instead, she focused on punishing James.
When James returned home from work, no warm, steaming meal awaited him. Instead, he found a cold, violent wife, who would immediately start beating him.
James worked during the day, and Olivia slept during the day. When James lay in bed trying to sleep at night, Olivia was full of energy. She would stand by the bed, stare at James, and then directly drag him off the bed.

Her physical agility had greatly improved, making her even more vigorous and flexible than before.
One time Kendall returned from outside and happened to run into James by the elevator. In just a few days, the dispirited, weary-eyed James looked at least ten years older than before!
This wasn't surprising. James's age was a factor. He wasn't a young man anymore. He was tormented by work during the day and had to deal with Olivia's sudden attacks at night. With poor eating and sleeping habits, it would be strange if he had any energy left.

Kendall ignored James completely and lightly ran up the stairs to her apartment.

"I know he can't stand me and wants a divorce to gain some peace, but he didn't offer to let me take Ivy as well, so I held back and didn't agree.
" Hearing Olivia's words, Kendall felt she was quite smart.
If Olivia had agreed without a second thought when James suggested divorce, or if she had immediately brought up taking Ivy with her, James would have noticed her eagerness and her weak spot.
Conversely, in this hellish life, the formerly desperate-to-divorce Olivia was now acting less eager about divorce.

As Kendall expected, James brought up divorce with Olivia every day afterward.

Olivia's heart pounded. She had finally waited for this day! But Olivia knew that the more excited she felt, the more she had to hide it. She pretended to hesitate, agonizing over the decision for a long time.
James, however, couldn't wait. He pulled out their marriage certificate and household registration booklet, ready to rush out the door immediately. He couldn't stand this life for another day!
Olivia held her daughter and followed suit.
When both parties agree, divorce proceedings are quick.

Olivia thanked Kendall again and returned the little bear hairpin to Kendall that same evening.
