Chapter 98 Firmly Latch Onto Kendall

Kendall returned to her tent and cleaned up the items that Liam had messed up. The two rabbits she caught for dinner were tied by the legs and placed outside the tent.

After Kendall went into her tent, Henry also went back to his. Without exception, his belongings were also completely messed up by Liam. The most obvious item was the bag of flatbread with most of it missing.

Henry picked up the flatbread and set it aside, sweeping his other belongings to one side, planning to tidy up later.

Lying on his back in the tent, Henry sighed comfortably. He had walked for half a day in the forest today, and his legs were incredibly sore. He felt like they didn't belong to him anymore!

Henry instinctively reached for his pants pocket with his left hand but suddenly realized mid-motion that the program team had collected everyone's phones on the yacht earlier... He felt a bit unaccustomed to not touching his phone for an entire day.

As Henry was lying there daydreaming, a voice suddenly came from outside the tent. "Henry? Are you resting?"

"No," Henry answered instinctively. He immediately got up and opened the tent. Henry found Daniel and a few other guests standing outside, their expressions indicating they had something they wanted to say but were hesitant.

Henry was only close to Kendall and wasn't familiar with the other guests, all of whom were big stars in the entertainment industry. A little socially awkward, Henry asked, "What is it?"

"About the flatbread Liam took from you earlier... we all ate some," Daniel, the one in the lead, said awkwardly.

Sophia beside him also spoke, "We came to apologize to you. We were truly too hungry today and couldn't control ourselves."

Their words made Henry feel a little embarrassed. "No, it's fine. You don't need to pay me back. My grandma made that flatbread for me, it didn't cost anything."

"Mhm, thank you," Daniel nodded, then asked, "Is it convenient for you to tell us about what happened after you entered the forest?"

Since the program team still hadn't arrived, and the day was quickly coming to an end, Daniel's group decided they couldn't just sit and wait anymore and planned to go into the forest as well.

However, none of them had ever been into this kind of wild forest before, so they felt uncertain and came to ask for information.

Henry nodded. "I can."

What Daniel's group most wanted to know was how to find water and food. When they heard from Henry that the creek was nearly an hour's walk away, they realized it was already too late to go look for water today.

Sophia couldn't help but lick her lips. "I'm so thirsty..."

They had just been offered his water and refused, so Henry wasn't foolish enough to bring it up again, but he did point them toward a solution, "You can check the map. The program team placed some supply bags nearby. You can go look for them, the supply bags might have water."

Daniel's group asked a few other questions after hearing this, and then they left. Henry watched them walk toward the other side of the tents, presumably to look at the map. Henry was exhausted and didn't pay much attention. Everything he knew, he had already told them.

After Daniel's group left, Henry zipped up his tent and continued to 'play dead' and rest inside.

user @InterestedPasserby: "Actor Daniel's group is pretty good. They came straight to apologize to Henry."

user @CalmMind: "Mhm, that attitude of admitting their mistake is acceptable."

user @BrattyBabe: "Henry is also very kind. He didn't get angry, unlike Kendall... In comparison, Kendall seems a bit too calculating."

user @PrincessRuRu: "Huh? Are you sick? Do you have to tear one person down to praise another?"

user @ColdAsIce: "Liam was wrong in the first place, and Kendall has the right to be angry, especially since they already had bad blood before."

user @DiligentStudent: "Right, imagine if someone I hated entered my room, I'd be angry too!"

Kendall also rested in her tent for a while.

She goes to the martial arts studio daily and has a high amount of physical activity, so her body is already adapted to this intensity of exercise.

Therefore, the trip into the forest today was relatively easy for Kendall, and she didn't experience the full-body soreness that Henry was feeling.

Kendall came out of the tent holding the two rabbits with one hand and in her other hand, she held a survival knife.

Henry's tent was right next to Kendall's. As soon as he heard the sound of the zipper opening next door, Henry immediately poked his head out of his tent and asked, "Sister Kendall, are you planning to go to the beach to kill the rabbits?"

Henry called her 'Sister Kendall' very naturally, not because he felt Kendall was older than him, but because the survival and hunting abilities Kendall displayed in the forest today were so powerful!

Henry had secretly decided in his heart that he must firmly latch onto Kendall's 'golden thigh' until the program team arrived!

He was Kendall's number one little brother!

Kendall nodded. Henry immediately said, "Wait for me! I'm coming too!"

Standing outside the tent, Kendall didn't see the figures of the other guests and didn't pay much attention.

Five minutes later, the two appeared on the beach.

Kendall raised her knife and swiftly brought it down. Henry only glanced at the scene before turning his head away.

He couldn't help with the butchering, so Henry came to try his luck collecting some seafood. Kendall called out to him, telling him to also pick up any bottles or cans he saw. Although this was a deserted island, there was still some household trash washed up on the beach by the waves.

Henry gave an 'OK' sign and looked down, searching intently.
