Calver and Fankalo, fate-touched siblings from the slums, mean to bring down the Tera'thian empire that tore them apart.

Their revolution hinges on stolen clandestine technology and a Ghost army raised to topple the crown, but the conspiracy soon breaks apart.

New alliances are forced on them as friends and enemies trade places and family secrets come into the open.
