The End of Whit's Rope

Whitney Hart is a single mom already stretched thin by her rebellious ten-year-old, Jonas.

Her ex only steps in when he is unattached and hoping to get back together, which leaves Whit unsure she can manage summer vacation alone.

Colt, a fun-loving cowboy at Wells Ranch, is given the job of keeping Jonas busy with work around the place.

Jonas finds a mentor in him, while Colt finds a friendship that brings him a new kind of joy, and his concern for the boy slowly draws him closer to Whit.
