Chapter 1 #2
“Yo’ ass better be glad I’m scared of Ma too, ugly ass fucka. Get yo’ dumb ass down. I need to wash my nuts. I’m musty every-fuckin’-where. I need to baze my ass befo’ them twins an’ August get in them bathrooms an’ hog the fuck outta them,” Tiberius snarled.
“Liar!” Momma Thea hollered before she slapped the fuck out of somebody.
Inside the house, different tones shockingly held out, “Oooh, shit!”
“Gotdamn, who’s getting slapped?” King laughed as off-beat footsteps walked up the steps.
Opening my eyes, I grabbed the water bottle. Sluggishly, I said, “The idiots who lie to a woman who can tell when a motherfucka finna lie befo’ they open they mouf.”
“Stupid fucks.” Kingdon chuckled, short-lived. King and The Quad Ts howled in laughter.
“Gotdamn it, man. Nih, shit! You just fallin’ all over the fuckin’ place.
I’m tired of liftin’ yo’ buff ass up. King, stop all that damn laughin’ an’ get yo’ damn brother, nih.
I’m sicka partyin’ wit’ you motherfuckas.
Every birthday an’ holiday … one of y’all can barely use the fuckin’ legs that’s been on y’all body since they was created.
Man, I’m finna let Momma Thea fie my ass up.
Not finna keep on makin’ sho’ y’all asses ain’t tumblin’ here an’ everywhere.
When the fuck is August gon’ get from that damn table an’ help us wit’ y’all’s asses?
Kingdon, get the fuck up … stretched out like a hoe! ” Sylo fussed, causing me to laugh.
“Man, if I get up … yo’ strong back ass gon’ be pickin’ me the fuck up. I know you see this water bottle idlin’ by my mouf.” I chortled as King and Kingdon laughed hard as more tumbles sounded from the porch’s steps.
“Fuck this shit!” Sylo hollered, stumping off. “Lauren! Get us an Uber up outta this bitch! Not finna keep on pickin’ up King an’ Kingdon. My gotdamn arms hurt. Mylo an’ Kylo in the damn chairs noddin’ the fuck off like they on that dope!”
“Okay!” She giggled tipsily from the kitchen.
Her loving, happy, and confident giggles brought forth memories that I had no choice but to think about. She was a vibrant woman who suffered badly one day. That one ill act against her heart, soul, and mind set her on a path of destruction. I never judged her for fucking this nigga and that.
Simply, I made sure no nigga disrespected her.
I put a lot of niggas in the hospital behind who they thought Lauren was.
She had the community riding for her until she found peace with her only child being murdered by his father.
I wouldn’t know what to do with myself if someone hurt August Junior or Azaria to the point they didn’t recognize themselves or their purpose in life.
“I don’t know where yo’ mind went, but I need it far from that place,” Mona demanded sweetly, putting my dick into my drawls.
“A’ight. C’mere, sexy dick gobblin’ woman of mine,” I spoke before biting my bottom lip.
“As you wish,” she cooed, crawling into my lap.
Not smelling any alcohol or weed on her, I furrowed my eyebrows and asked, “You ain’t drunk or smoke nothin’?”
“Nope. Juice and water. I have to be sober for y’all.” She grinned, gliding her hand down my face as another series of slaps ran from the house.
“Look at you, being Mrs. Enforcer. It look good on you,” I praised, gripping her ass.
“Yes, it does,” she replied, pushing the water bottle closer to my lips. “Drink that. You had a lot of liquor.”
As I drank the cold, refreshing water, the house became quieter.
Yet, I heard heels clinking on the polished wood floors in the kitchen.
Once the clinking stopped, Mona looked in that direction.
My woman laughed as I drank the last of the water, ready to flush out the liquor.
I didn’t like the intoxicating feeling of lingering in me longer than four hours.
I became agitated. Then, I have to deal with King, Kingdon, and Kingsley hovering over me, asking one too many stupid ass questions.
What would you like to eat? Do you want more Gatorade? What do you want to do so you wouldn’t spaz out? How quiet does this room need to be, August?
Every time, I would shout for them to get the fuck out of my face and let me be.
After sighing deeply, Aleana said, “Min, I know damn well those aren’t two pairs of the same shoes on the same-sized feet, swaying as if toddlers are pushing their feet.”
Mona and I laughed as Min giggled. “Yep, and they are talking in their twin language. Just come on down, honey. You’ll have to punish him later for not being presentable for y’all’s night in our locked room.”
“They have a twin language?” Mona inquired as Aleana’s nails clinked faster than her heels.
“Hell, yes,” Min responded as I nodded.
“How can they have that if they didn’t grow up as twins?” Mona inquired, retrieving the empty water bottle as Aleana tsk’d.
“When Kingdon came to live wit’ us, their language took off like a rocket. They called it brother language. Once it hit the fan that they was twins, it became what it should’ve been,” I offered as Shannon, Kingsley, and Ryan stumbled out of the second back door.
“Oh, interesting,” Mona held out, sliding her eyes toward the laughing couples behind us.
“Whew, what a fucking time,” Shannon held out tipsily as Mona rested her head on my chest. “I hope another party isn’t happening later. I’m exhausted.”
“I love you, Auggie,” Mona cooed before kissing my chest.
“I love you,” I confessed deeply before kissing her forehead.
“Aww!” the fuckas held out sweetly.
“What the fuck?” Kingsley and Ryan said, oddly, as the house went pitch black.
“Thiagooooo! Turn the gotdamn power on, bitch!” Thames bellowed as we laughed hard. He was in the guest bathroom on the second floor. The bathroom window was open. Min never closed it. She preferred fresh air to travel throughout the room.
“You an’ Tiberius been in them fuckin’ bathrooms long enough! We ain’t at our houses! It’s a fleet of us that gotta baze! Fifteen minutes fo’ the guest, bitches! My rule! Get the fuck out, so my wife can baze these nuts nih!” Thiago barked as King, Kingdon, and my phones rang.
“Bless her heart for having an extra active husband,” Aleana said, causing us to laugh harder as I looked at the door Shannon, Kingsley, and Ryan walked out of. It was still pitch black.
“Talk to me.” The twins chuckled into their phones as I removed my from the holster.
“Tobias, I’m in no position to get Thiago’s ass, man. I’m on the ground, head in my wife’s lap. Just get his ass back. It doesn’t supposed to rain until Tuesday, so the hole will still be here.” King chortled as I didn’t bother to answer Thames call. I’ve repeated what King said.
“Min?” Mona called out, lifting from me.
“What’s up?” the sweetheart answered as I kissed my guh’s throat.
“Is it cool if I bathe August in y’all’s bathroom?” she inquired, raking her nails through my beard.
“Don’t ask no shit like that when you see me sprawled out like your cousin when she don’ pissed me off,” King interjected, causing me to smile and nod.
“Got it.” Mona grinned, looking at me while standing and grabbing my hand. “Get that ass up, so I can bathe you.”
“Say less.” I nodded, interlocking our fingers and standing.
Shooting her head toward the door, Mona shouted, “Thiago, turn the power on! I’m not in the mood to slip and slide all over this big ass house! If I fall and the first layer of skin comes off these sniper knees, I’m calling Momma Thea on you!”
“She got them snipe knees. Them suck the dick whole knees!” the twins sang drunkenly, making us howl in laughter.
From the right side of the porch, Mylo and Kylo groggily chuckled. “Y’all niggas stupid as shit.”
