Let Your Indulgence Set Me Free
This one looks like Grandma.” Kuak held up a potato with a protrusion in the middle and two indents for eyes.
“I think it looks more like you.” Caoimhe glanced over at Cat, leaning on a hoe.
Kuak stuck her tongue out and tossed the potato in the basket.
Ila came running after to show her another special potato.
The novelty of being a different adult to acknowledge their potatoes would wear off eventually, but for now, Caoimhe let herself bathe in the acceptance.
Jenni had given her the all clear earlier that morning, but stressed that she needed to take precautions around Lusa.
“Everyone always tells me that.” Caoimhe pulled a borrowed shirt over her head. “I’ve handled myself pretty well so far.”
“That’s not what I mea…” Jenni tried to clarify, but Mackenzie interrupted.
“Also, you have no more eggs. Congratulations, you’re a boy!”
“Can you stop saying that?” She grabbed her meagre breasts to emphasise the point.
“Not if you do that every time I say it.” Mackenzie leered.
Caoimhe curled her lip.
Mackenzie ignored her disgust. “You should go say goodbye to your girlfriend. We’re heading to the vault in an hour and she’s coming with. She’s waiting for you at your MobilePod.”
This time, Caoimhe didn’t rankle at the word. If Cat was to be believed, Lusa wanted the same thing. Everyone else seemed to think they were. Doubt be damned, she would shoot her shot.
She found her on the wooden steps, raven hair flying freely in the breeze.
Lusa picked apart a stem of grass and threw it absently, as natural as the material she sat upon, sans weapons, guard down and blissfully unaware of how stunning she looked.
No wonder the girls at the Lake threw themselves at her.
Caoimhe reminded herself that she was hers.
For now. Certainty beyond that would need to be earned, from both of them.
“Mackenzie said my girlfriend was waiting for me here.” Caoimhe enjoyed the mix of surprise and uncertainty playing across her features. The high cheekbones and dark eyes from Sesi. The stature from Talia. Also, the temper.
“Is she?” Lusa stood, gathering her limbs slowly.
“Is she here to fight me, or…?” Deflecting with a joke to protect herself from disappointment – That’s what Cat had meant.
Not only did Lusa need time, she would always need time.
Every interaction would need to be eased into.
Caoimhe could be impulsive, but she wouldn’t get the answers she wanted without doing an emotional dance first. With Lusa, that’s just the way it would have to be.
Caoimhe pretended to look around. “I don’t see anyone else.” She slipped into Lusa’s space, the warmth of her in the morning chill. “Did you already kill her? Where’s the body?”
Lusa arms conformed to the shape of her waist like water. “Under the MobilePod. That’s why we were here all morning.”
Caoimhe could wait, but each step in the dance led them closer to the end. She stepped carefully through the rubble of Lusa’s defences. “If you killed her, then that means you have to take her place.”
“I haven’t dated anyone in a while, but I’m not sure that’s how it works.” A deflection, but not a jest. Caoimhe could almost see her through the cracks.
“It is.” Caoimhe craned her neck to kiss her jaw, silently cursing Mackenzie for not making her a little bit taller. “It’s a new rule. If you don’t accept, you have to walk away now.” Caoimhe really hoped she wouldn’t walk away.
Lusa carded her fingers through Caoimhe’s tangled mess of strawberry blonde.
She hadn’t had the chance to cut it yet and she thought it made her look too young and feminine.
Lusa kissed the top of her head. “I’m afraid I’m going to hurt you.
” The words fell so quietly the wind almost swallowed them.
“I’m more worried about your family than I am about you.” Caoimhe leaned back to look her in the eye. So much vulnerability behind an almost unnaturally dark brown. “Your aunt shot me in the neck, remember?”
“And you kidnapped Pinga.”
“You cost me my right arm, though,” Caoimhe turned her flawless hand this way and that, examining it. “I guess you made up for it.”
“You didn’t mention Piston.”
“Your mom told me.” Caoimhe let go and took a step back. “And she told me why. Your family may be a tich fucked up, but you take on troubles that aren’t yours.”
Lusa could only blink wetly.
“Cat’s grand, though,” Caoimhe said, “I like her.”
Lusa lowered her head. “Sorry. You don’t have to stay here. You can go back to Tyton.”
For a moment, neither of them moved. After all that, Caoimhe still hadn’t broken through Lusa’s stubborn belief that she wasn’t wanted. “I can’t help but notice you’re still here.”
Lusa raised her eyes. “Should I go? I was about to show you around your MobilePod.”
Exasperated, Caoimhe grabbed her collar, pulling herself up to catch her lip. “No, you idiot. You didn’t leave, so now you’re my girlfriend.”
“But my family…”
Caoimhe stopped her words with her tongue. “You’re not your family. You’re mine. For now.”
Propelled by years of overcompensating for her height, Caoimhe threw herself into Lusa and took her mouth. Without implants, Lusa could have easily stopped her, but she didn’t. Lusa let her.
Caoimhe broke away but remained standing on her highest tip toes. “Now show me the MobilePod. Specifically, the bedroom.”
Caoimhe remembered fumbling with the door.
The latch had trouble understanding her haste.
Somewhere in the kitchen, clothes had been removed.
She remembered how easily Lusa lifted her onto the countertop.
Like she weighed nothing. She remembered how she had ruined its surface when Lusa’s teeth broke her lip.
Decided that it didn’t matter, that surfaces could be cleaned.
She remembered how tongues fought for depth.
How fingernails bit. How hair was pulled.
How unbelievably soft the skin on her cheek felt against the inside of her thigh. Softer still, the press of her lips.
“The bedroom.” Caoimhe tried to refocus her eyes. “You were supposed to show me the bedroom.”
Lusa lifted her with a squeal and deposited her brusquely into the pile of down and furs that were now hers through some absurd series of events. Caoimhe pulled Lusa down, the slick of her still on her lips.
Caoimhe propped herself up on her elbows and arched an eyebrow. “Do I need to…”
Lusa quickly shook her head, breath coming in short bursts. “No. Not yet.” She shoved Caoimhe roughly back down and straddled her neck. “I just need to keep my mouth away from you for a few moments.”
Caoimhe happily accepted this compromise and sang her muffled praises between Lusa’s legs.
Lusa gripped the headboard so hard she thought it would crack. Caoimhe spasmed beneath her and Lusa quickly dismounted. “Oh… ” Lusa lost her words, panicking.
Caoimhe laughed, moving her jaw in circles to relieve the ache. “You have very strong thighs.”
Lusa backed into the headboard, eyes, worried pits of self-doubt.
Caoimhe bridged the distance, taking her mouth. “It was hot.” Lusa relaxed into her, reassured that although she may be too much, she wasn’t too much for Caoimhe.
Skin sticking with arousal, Caoimhe drew her finger across Lusa’s lips and then her throat. “I wish I could hear you gurgle again.”
“What? Gur…” Lusa gasped mid-sentence when Caoimhe’s fingers found her clit.
“You gurgled when I used my strap. It’s too bad I don’t have it anymore.” She backed off. Small circles sliding deftly around, teasing the possibility of more.
“But I…” Lusa’s breath hitched again. She grabbed Caoimhe’s wrist and gave her a reprimanding smirk. “I have it. It got packed with the camping gear.”
Caoimhe perked up, elated, before sitting back down. “I don’t have my subdermal magclamps anymore. I can’t use it.”
“Okay, this is going to sound weird,” Lusa started. “But Sparx found it when they brought everyone in. He printed you a harness when he found out you wouldn’t be able to use cyberware anymore.”
Caoimhe looked appalled. “Your fami…”
“I know,” Lusa interrupted. “He’s not actually a creep, he’s just very sex-positive.”
“Grand, but can we please stop going on about your uncle?”
“Yes.” Lusa seemed just as relieved as her to move on. She kissed Caoimhe again.
“I didn’t say I didn’t want the harness, yeah?”
Lusa stopped, taking a moment to register the change in gears before scrambling to the bedside table. “I hope you know how these work, because I don’t.”
Caoimhe winked salaciously. “I didn’t always have subdermal magclamps, yeah?”
Lusa couldn’t help but drool, watching her wriggle into the harness. “I don’t know how, but that is ridiculous and sexy at the same time.”
The toy made sad beeps as it searched for a host to connect to. “I’ve never used it without implants before. I hope it works.” Caoimhe muttered, fitting it into the O-ring.
“If it doesn’t, you’re going to have to learn how to fuck properly, I guess,” Lusa said.
“When did you get so backchatty?” Caoimhe grabbed Lusa by the hair, exposing her throat. She traced a line with the tip of her tongue from hollow to chin.
Lusa melted into the touch. The exhilaration of this woman nearly twice her size letting Caoimhe possess her! She knew Lusa would die if anyone else found out. She made a mental note to threaten Mackenzie more.
She slathered far too much lube on the toy, dripping on the furs. She had no idea how difficult they were to clean, but Lusa didn’t say anything.
Another kiss, deeper and hungrier while she notched the head of the toy against Lusa’s entrance. She drew circles, ringing just inside, matching the motion of her tongue until Lusa relaxed, circles growing larger.
“Stop teasing me or I’ll bite you,” Lusa said between Caoimhe’s teeth.
“You’ll bite me anyway.” She withdrew the toy, skimming the head between her labia.
“Are you going to stop me?” A challenge, but not without a note of worry. As much as it excited her to see Lusa lose control, Lusa needed reassurance.
“I swear.” Caoimhe ghosted her hand across Lusa’s throat.
“I won’t let you do anything I don’t want you to.
” She tightened her grip as she slid the toy inside.
Lusa’s eyes widening and feeling the rasp in her throat nearly undid her.
Without the hormone regulator, everything felt primal and unfiltered.
She didn’t need the dopamine or oxytocin synching. Grinding against the base of the toy in time to the bliss on her lover’s face as she buried the length of it inside her was enough to bring her to the quickest climax she’d ever had.
In her surprise, Caoimhe released Lusa’s throat.
Lusa sprang forward and sunk her teeth into Caoimhe’s neck, fingers clawing, legs clamped and cramping around her waist. The well of blood should have caused her to stop, but Lusa had sunk deep into her frenzy.
Caoimhe had understood Lusa’s violent streak, but hadn’t quite appreciated what it would do to her.
Part of her hadn’t grasped that Lusa was serious.
Caoimhe gripped her hair, yanking Lusa away. A blossoming pain followed the tearing of teeth. The wound throbbed hotly. In Lusa’s eyes, a wild savagery danced with terror at the monster she’d failed to control. Blood across kiss-swollen lips stoked a hunger Caoimhe had never felt.
“Turn around,” she ordered.
Caoimhe pulled out. A thousand emotions played across Lusa’s face; shame, regret, terror along with a growling hunger hiding just behind eyes dark, wide and glazed.
Lusa obeyed. Caoimhe guided her hips to the toy from behind, easing it in.
Lusa could do whatever she needed from here and it wouldn’t result in permanently disfiguring her.
Lusa rocked back onto the silicone cock, the head of it pressing sinfully against her front wall.
Low, undignified, nasal moans filled the room.
Lusa thrashed against the pillow. An exquisite symphony, but Caoimhe wanted to hear her gurgle again.
Finding the button to turn the toy to manual mode and it thrummed to life.
And Lusa did. So loudly, Caoimhe thought she might be choking, until she heard the pillow tear and a sudden flood ruined the furs. She pulled out quickly, cradling her while Lusa gasped like a fish out of water. “It’s okay. I have you.”
After the hyperventilating came the tears. After the tears came a quiet calm. A silent acceptance of flaws and faults, the ugliness of hunger and desire and Caoimhe held all of it in small arms wrapped around her lioness.
