Chapter 10

Korvex

I already adored the way her body squirmed from my tongue.

She had stated she was sore from our repeated coupling.

The cool touch would be comforting, I had thought.

I had placed myself there in hopes that I could help comfort her sore body.

Instead, she was making the same moaning noises she had before.

Her hips bucked against my face, pushing herself into my mouth. I had found a particular spot on her that caused her to writhe beneath me. I did enjoy when she writhed. Pushing against it repeatedly caused her to whimper. Her taste was intoxicating.

A beat pounded in my chest. She had said this was a heartbeat. I did not know I had a heart. Every time she even looked at me, it made the thing pulse inside.

Her back arched again as she pushed into me, her body clenching once more. I now knew this clenching was important to our interactions. So I did enjoy making it happen often for her.

With husky breaths she said, “You’re a menace, Korvex.”

I did not want to be a menace. I frowned at her.

That melodic laugh of hers burst out of her again as she assured me that she meant that playfully. Her chest was red, like her cheeks often got, and she was breathing hard. I didn’t think my tongue cooled and calmed her down like I had intended.

The stone of my body wasn’t so hard. It felt softer after she had touched me, after she let me touch her. The appendage between my legs she called a ‘cock’ was hardening again though. She said this happened when I am aroused and wanted pleasure.

My tail snaked out and pulled her toward me. I smiled as she playfully hit my chest. It was growing and hardening between my legs. It wanted more pleasure. One time was not enough. I wanted it often, over and over again.

“I want to respect your request for a break, but my new anatomy is refusing to cooperate.”

Her eyes flicked down at my size. She bit her lip, contemplating letting me take her again before she giggled and shook her head no.

I still wanted it, though. Doing my best to give her pleading eyes, I let out a small whine.

That musical laugh rolled over me. She pointed and said, “Okay, but promise to be gentle. I’m very tender!”

With delicate care, I pushed myself into her again. She still let out a gasp as I fully entered her. We slowly made our way to another crescendo, letting the seismic vibrations we learned I could control do most of the work.

We collapsed together, completely spent. For the first time in hundreds of years, I was lying in a bed as the sun rose. No longer was I trapped on the pedestal, watching life pass me by. I was experiencing it to the fullest.

Adela cradled me, her hand brushing my chest. Everywhere she touched me, it warmed. The stone feeling more like flesh than the granite I was made from. She had mumbled something about the soul spark magic when I asked. Evens he wasn’t certain.

All this time, all the years I had spent watching others live life, and here I was, finally living it myself. It was everything I had imagined and more. I wanted more of this. I wanted to spend more time with her.

Her fingers drew circles on my chest, idly drawing shapes. I pressed my claws into her shoulder, pulling her closer to me. This was where my soul told me it needed to be, where it said hers should be. Who were we to defy fate itself?
