Chapter 37 Kyzen
Kyzen
“No wonder our buddies didn’t want to stay for her power practice. The two of them are disgusting.”
I scoff at Riven’s taurnshit as we watch Creed and Thayla finish up their training.
Yeah, sure, they’re a little handsy today, but hell, I understand. I remember—intensely—how I felt invincible the day after we had sex for the first time.
Shit. I got to quit thinking about that.
“Green is a bad color on you, Riven,” I tease, laughing as he keeps staring at the two of them wrestling around on the ground.
“Obviously. I look best in burgundy. It pairs well with my tan skin and one eye. Actually, it looks good with the blue eye as well.”
“I believe Kyzen was using a mortal idiom. It’s a figure of speech suggesting jealousy doesn’t suit you.”
“Thank you for clarifying, Amick.”
“Anytime.”
I chuckle and Riven elbows me. “I’m not jealous. There’s nothing to be jealous of. You all seem to be so ready and excited for the little burden to hop on my dick, but you’re going to have your hearts broken when it happens. She will undoubtedly fall in love with me and leave the rest of you.”
“I’m positive if she hops on your penis, that isn’t going to feel pleasant. Are you sure you know what to do when the time comes?”
My body sways into Riven’s as I die of laughter, and he shoves me away, sneering at Amick like he caught a whiff of something awful.
It’s even more hilarious that Amick is dead-ass serious. There’s so much concern etched into his face, I know he’s seconds away from grilling Riven.
“Don’t you worry about my penis. Matter of fact, can you not call it that? It’s my dick.”
“I most certainly won’t be calling it that. I’ll call it by its proper term.”
Riven and I share a glance with one another, and I know the exact same thing pops into our minds. I go to cover his mouth with my hand, but he slaps it away.
“Say dick, Amick.”
“No.”
“Okay, then cock.”
You would’ve thought someone stuck theirs in his breakfast with the look he’s giving Riven. His silence is loud and clear.
“Now that we’re on the subject—”
“We’re not on any subject,” I cut in, but that doesn’t stop him.
“When you and Kyzen were doing vile things to our Binder in the shower, Kyzen asked you what she felt like and you hesitated for a good minute. Was that because Creed and I were standing there, or because you didn’t know what to say?”
Amick’s face gives nothing away and his gaze stays tracking every move Thayla makes. He ignores Riven like he never heard him speak.
“Well, I’ll be damn. Our o wise Guider doesn’t know how to dirty talk.”
“I don’t have to dirty talk to pleasure Thayla.”
“Sure, but she likes it. I mean, she wasn’t squeezing my dick or anything, but are you trying to tell me you didn’t realize the way she gripped you when Kyzen was telling her how good she was doing?”
“For fuck’s sake, Riven. This is not the time or place.”
“And why not? I’m trying to help my brother.”
“You’re not helping me. You’re mocking me.”
“I’m not. Ask Kyzen. He’ll tell you she likes it.”
Amick’s eyebrows draw down and I raise mine to encourage him to ask.
“Are you teasing me along with him?”
I soften my smile when I see he’s starting to get aggravated and worried we’re setting him up with a prank. We can’t have him getting all worked up right now with what we’re about to work on with Thayla.
“No, and technically, Riven isn’t teasing either. He’s approaching this in a piss-poor way. It’s not exactly dirty talk that she likes. It’s praise. You don’t have to use any descriptive words that you don’t want to.”
“She’s seemed wholly satisfied during our encounters so far, but would that enhance her experience?”
“Not if you say dick all weird.”
I choke down a chuckle and clear my throat.
“Riven has a point. If you’re not comfortable saying it, it’s going to come across as awkward and it could spoil the moment.
I’m not telling you to add these words to your vocabulary.
You do satisfy her with your very blunt and dominant way of handling her. ”
“He’s dominant?” Riven screeches and I shush his loud ass.
“From our joint encounter, I’d say yes. He had no issue leading the way and she did exactly as she was told.”
“Damn, so the mouthy little thing knows how to listen.”
“I feel like you’re getting inside knowledge you should have to learn on your own like we did.”
Riven gasps, laying his hand to his heart as he turns to Amick. “You’re not willing to guide me for when my first time comes?”
Amick’s shoulders slump and I should punch Riven. He knows Amick takes things so serious, and I can fucking promise, Thayla’s pleasure is a serious subject for him.
“Of course I will. You can’t be the only one of us who doesn’t fulfil her sexual needs. Your ability to perform was not what I had your shortcomings down as.” He tilts his head mindfully and I bite my lip to stop from laughing.
“Granted, there are three more of us, so she’ll be satisfied either way, but I don’t believe that’s going to help you enhance your emotional connection with her. I’ll set aside some time for us to discuss where you fear your inability to bring her to orgasm lies.”
“What the hell do you plan on doing? Draw me a picture?”
“If I must.”
I can’t hold it in any longer. My laugh breaks free and echoes clear across the meadow.
“Is he being serious with me right now?”
“Yes, yes, he is,” I gasp out between breaths.
“What’s so funny?” Thayla asks, strolling up to us with a bright smile.
My laugh rolls right into a groan when she lifts her shirt to wipe her face, revealing her body that I’d literally die to worship.
“Amick giving Riven a lesson and Riven not receiving it well.”
“Aww, it’s okay, my little psycho. I don’t receive all the lessons well either.”
“Don’t you worry, angel. You’ll never be able to forget this lesson when I teach it to you.”
She tilts her head to the side, but Creed cuts in with a grunt. “Are we staying out here and working on her power or going back to the house?”
“I planned on us going to the hot spring, but that’s completely up to Thayla.”
“The hot spring is good with me. I need something to drink first, though. That was a workout.”
I smirk at the twitch on Creed’s lip.
Smug asshole.
Same.
“You all go on over there. I’ll go to the house and grab some stuff, then meet you there,” Creed says, giving Thayla a hard smack on her ass before starshooting away.
“I’m going to punch him in his throat again when he gets back,” she says, rubbing her ass cheek as we start walking toward the tree line.
“Again?” Riven asks.
“Yeah. He took me by surprise one day and I reacted.”
“So violent and tempting.”
She rolls her eyes as we start walking, and Amick and I reach out at the same time for her hands.
“So are we reading our way through this or hands on?”
“Hands on. If you liked to read up on the Goddess of Seduction during any downtime, that’s fine, but I think what’s going to benefit you most is jumping in. Riven can help calm you with his power to start, but you’ll eventually have to do it on your own.”
She releases a deep breath as she nods. “Sounds good. I don’t know if I could read right now and focus anyway. I’m nervous and surprisingly excited.”
“Both of which is understandable, but you got this.” I squeeze her hand and she gives a sweet smile.
The rest of the walk to the hot spring is made in silence, with the exception of Riven’s humming that Thayla joins in on. They definitely aren’t singing the same song in their minds, but their tones always match.
I don’t know if she does it because it’s contagious or because it’s her way of bonding with him, but either way, when she does it, his beat always becomes more excited.
Kind of worrisome but in a good way. Like he may pounce on her at any second, and Amick and I would need to walk away.
We trek through the last line of trees and Thayla bursts out laughing at the sight of V sitting on top of Seismet’s head. She releases our hands as she makes her way over to them and she has to stretch her arm up completely to reach V.
“Good morning, boys.”
We turn as Verlet trots up to us and Riven meets him for a hug.
“Everyone’s here to support today, huh?”
“Of course. We weren’t going to miss her overcoming her fear.”
“You think she’ll get it today?” Amick asks.
“I strongly believe she’ll have a major breakthrough. You guide simply and directly. Don’t focus on the bad the Goddess of Seduction has committed. I wouldn’t even bring it up, or that’s what she’s going to lock onto. Solely focus on the power and abilities that can come from it.”
Amick nods appreciatively, then walks over to where Thayla’s plopped on the ground a few feet from where Seismet took his spot.
Verlet makes his way over with Riven and me, and not a second after we sit, Creed appears.
“What the hell is that?” Riven asks.
“The basket?”
“Yes, but why do you have it?”
“I don’t know, asshole, I figured everyone may want something and I couldn’t carry it all. I’ll make sure to send yours back home.”
“Hold your hormones. I didn’t know you had food in there.”
“This really isn’t the time for a picnic,” Amick adds.
“Why not? Thayla’s always happier when she’s fed.”
She lets out an agreeing grunt. “That’s one hundred percent accurate and I’m starving.”
Creed gives both Riven and Amick a told you so look as he sits and starts taking half our damn kitchen out of the basket. I’m not sure why either of them bitched, though. All four of us eat like each meal’s our last one.
Thayla chugs an entire cup of water, then moves directly to the coffee he also brought. At her satisfied ah, she rubs her hands together.
“Okay, so who wants to start telling me about the Goddess of Seduction?”
“I want you to get the Goddess of Seduction out of your mind and just think of the domain, Seduction. This power comes from her, but it is yours and you’ll wield it differently. So put it in your mind as my seduction.”
She cocks her head to the side for a moment, then nods. “Okay. My seduction.”
