Chapter 6
CHAPTER SIX
Cliff
“My friend, Sally, is coming into town this weekend so I'm sorry to cancel our plans but I promise to make it up to you.” Nellie informed over a dinner of Chinese takeout. My stomach tanked, but I smiled, anyway. What could I do? Throw a fit? She deserved to spend time with her friends.
I should probably check in on mine too.
“Sally? She's the girl whose parents you're renting this cabin from, right?”
Nellie nodded, her hair falling in front of her eyes. Her beauty took my breath away every time. “Yes. She remembers you.”
I nodded. “They are nice people. Came up here every summer.”
“Yes. They're like family to me. After my mom ditched me for her boyfriend when my dad took off, I lived with Sally and her parents for a while.
Until we finished out high school and I secured a scholarship to college.
Sally and I roomed together all four years, getting our own apartment together near the end, and we've lived together ever since.
Coming here was one of the hardest decisions I ever made, but I needed to focus.
When her parents offered the place, I couldn't say no.”
“I'm sorry about your parents, Nellie.” I leaned closer and covered her hand with mine.
“Their loss. And I'm so glad you decided to come here. How long are you planning to stay?” My breathing hitched in my throat at the question, even though I tried to hide it.
But the thought of her leaving was unbearable.
Maybe I was wrong. Maybe love wasn't a good distraction.
“I didn't plan a specific amount of time. I have money set aside from the first book series I published and my deadline for this next series is looming. So I don't know, really.”
Her answer only left me with more questions. I glanced down at my plate, my appetite waning. I'd already lost so much in my life I didn't know if I'd survive losing more.
Nellie’s hand covered mine, and I looked up to find her smiling at me, a softness in her eyes I hadn't seen before. “Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere, anytime soon.”
The corner of my mouth turned up. “How did you know what I was thinking?”
Nellie shrugged. “Your eyes reflect what I’m feeling. I'm falling for you, Cliff. I don't want to be apart, either.”
A sigh of relief escaped my throat, and I jumped to my feet, rounding the table and pulling her into my arms. I hugged her close and inhaled her scent I loved so much.
“How is it possible? To feel so much for someone in such a short amount of time?”
Nellie looked up at me. “I don't know, but it happened.”
“It sure did.” We kissed and kissed, swaying in each other’s arms.
“I love you, Nellie,” I confessed.
“I love you too, Cliff. So much.”
That weekend, Nellie included me in her activities with Sally.
We decorated her cabin for fall, even adding a pumpkin on my porch.
Sally and I showed Nellie around, bringing her to the hot spots in town and eating our weight in Ruby’s apple cinnamon muffins.
And I gave them plenty of girl time, using the free time to catch up on grading papers and planning my lessons out for a couple of weeks.
On Sunday evening, I cooked a big dinner of beef roast with gravy, roasted potatoes, and asparagus. We feasted with a bottle of their favorite wine, and they shared girlhood stories that I loved learning about Nellie.
I never expected a woman to come into my life, but especially not this beautiful one with a magical soul. She brightened my days like the ray of sunshine she was and I looked forward every morning to seeing her face.
After saying our goodbyes, I took Nellie to bed and worshipped her body, two days too long without being inside her.
I kissed every inch of her soft skin, taking my time, and drawing out the pleasure for both of us.
I laid down beneath him and let her explore me with her mouth, loving the feel of her lips wrapped around my dick.
She didn't take her eyes off me as she sucked me hard, her tongue working its magic.
I held off my orgasm even though I loved coming down her throat and finally after a half hour of torturing each other, I pulled her on top of me and sat her on my dick, her pussy made for me.
Nellie sunk down, her wet walls wrapping around me.
The perfect fit. I gripped her hips and lifted her up and down as I met her thrust for thrust. The sound of skin slapping skin and the scent of sex filled the air, a heady, drunk sensation taking over all of my senses.
Nellie moaned and groaned, her pleasure heightening mine as we both chased our release.
As she came, her pussy gripped my cock, and I couldn't hold on for my longer.
Mid orgasm, I flipped her over into her belly, up onto her knees, and dove inside, my cum spilling down her legs and mixing with her own juices.
I kept pumping as my orgasm blasted through me, unable to stop, as she came over and over again.
We collapsed in each other’s arms, sweaty and depleted, yet sated. For now.
“I love you.” I whispered against the top of her head, kissing her softly.
“I love you too. You were the perfect gentleman this weekend.”
“How could I not be? You make me want to be a better person, Nellie. For you I'd do anything.”
“Aw, Cliff.”
“I know there will be some days I'm a cranky asshole. There will always be a little bit of grump in me especially on the hard days. But you're my ray of sunshine baby. You chase my grumps away.”
Nellie snugged in closer, wrapping her entire body around mine. “You make me feel safe and secure. Loved. And that's all I've ever wanted.”
“I'm going to make you my wife one day.”
Nellie squealed. “Ahh, don't make me excited to plan a wedding!” She teased.
I laughed. “You will be soon.” Then I kissed her again and made love to her once more. I could never get enough.
