Chapter 15 Discovering The Grasslands
Qin Zhen gritted her teeth and fired her Lianyue Crossbow in rapid succession, loosing seven or eight Arrows within seconds.
The Frostice Scorpion-tail Rabbit dodged, but two Arrows still found their mark, and its body crashed to the ground.
There were still three small ones!
Qin Zhen dodged and fired at the same time.
But the little rabbits were so small that they were nearly impossible to hit.
She fired over a dozen Arrows and only managed to kill two of them.
The last one was incredibly agile.
By this point, Qin Zhen's HP had dropped to just 15.
Fortunately, she had kept a Life Potion on her at all times — otherwise, this might have truly been the end of her.
Qin Zhen downed the Life Potion in one gulp, restoring her HP to 115.

Qin Zhen switched her equipment back to the Starlight Staff, locked onto the little ice rabbit, and froze it in place.
She fired two more Arrows in quick succession, and the ice rabbit died instantly.
Qin Zhen dropped onto the ground and gasped for breath.
She had been far too careless today.
If she had used the Glacial Ring to restrain the Frostice Scorpion-tail Rabbit from the very start, she wouldn't have been put in such a desperate position.
The main issue was that she hadn't expected a Tier 1 Monster to appear today — after all, yesterday had only brought Common Monsters.

Tall, slender stalks of green bamboo stood straight and proud, vigorous and full of life, their emerald leaves rustling softly in the breeze.
Sunlight filtered down through the gaps in the canopy, casting dappled patterns of light and shadow across the ground.
Qin Zhen felt as though she had been walking for a very long time — long enough that she was starting to grow impatient.
But when she checked the time, only two hours had passed.
Could this bamboo grove really be endless?
Qin Zhen gritted her teeth and decided to press on a little further.
If it was still nothing but bamboo after another hour, she would turn back.
After about another half hour of walking, the bamboo grove finally came to an end.
Beyond the bamboo grove lay The Grasslands.
The vast, boundless green expanse was dotted with tiny wildflowers of every color, like an enormous patchwork green carpet shimmering brilliantly under the sunlight.
Qin Zhen hadn't expected that something so breathtaking would be hidden beyond the bamboo grove.
This place was truly beautiful!
She almost didn't want to leave — if only she could move her Shelter here!
Qin Zhen stepped onto The Grasslands and felt the gentle breeze wash over her, easing the tension that had built up over these past few days.
