Chapter 28 Dominating the Rankings and Rewards
When Qin Zhen woke up the next day, the sky was, without question, still dark.
She opened the Chat Channel and found everyone discussing the Leaderboard.
She clicked in and discovered that the Leaderboard had settled its rankings at midnight the night before.
Right — yesterday had been exactly the seventh day of the official game.
She was first on the Level Ranking.

And she was undeniably first on the Equipment Ranking as well. Aside from a few pieces that were still Green-grade Equipment, everything else had already been swapped out for Blue-grade Equipment.
She had actually swept all three rankings and taken first place on every single one!
What surprised Qin Zhen, however, was Qing Heyin. He ranked second on the Level Ranking and second on the Kill Ranking, with a monster kill count only a few short of hers.
But on the Equipment Ranking, he had only placed sixth.
Qin Zhen took a look — he only had two pieces of Blue-grade Equipment; everything else was Green-grade Equipment.
The corner of Qin Zhen's mouth twitched. Seriously? He'd killed that many monsters, and his gear was this rough?

That was way too much trouble. Qin Zhen decided to give up on it.
Whatever — she'd already exposed her ID when she sold the Spike Fences anyway.
In truth, being exposed wasn't a big deal. As long as she had no moral weaknesses, no one could hold her hostage.

A Red Copper Chest? Qin Zhen was a little surprised — this was the first time she'd ever seen a chest of a higher tier than the Black Iron Chest.

An Attack Power of 100, and the Durability was impressive too. Worthy of Purple-tier Gear, Qin Zhen thought.
But how did you use a Power Card?

Qin Zhen equipped the Starlight Staff (Purple). Her old green Starlight Staff still had a few dozen points of Durability left, so she didn't throw it away — she stored it in the warehouse along with the Power Cards, just in case.
She consumed ten Attribute Orbs: Attack +6, Defense +6, Speed +9, Intelligence +9.
Too bad none of it went into her Luck stat.
Seeing Qing Heyin's dismal equipment had made her truly appreciate the importance of the Luck stat.
No wonder you couldn't put points into Luck when leveling up.
She had nine Black Iron Chests remaining. Qin Zhen tucked them into her backpack without opening them.
Because monsters had appeared outside again.
Today's monsters were different from yesterday's — yet also similar in some ways.

Qin Zhen was just grateful that she had finished filling in the outer layer of Spike Fences last night — otherwise today might have been a real struggle.
