Brandon and Amanda lingered in a long, quiet embrace.
She had shifted off him, releasing him from the helpless angle she'd locked him into, and propped herself against the headboard.
Parting her legs to welcome him closer, she draped her arms over his shoulders, letting him rest his head against her bare chest. Her slender fingers, having worked so relentlessly to claw into his skin minutes earlier, now stroked gently through his hair.
“Love me, do you?”
Brandon could have sworn he heard the curve of Amanda’s lips as she smiled. It was right there in the velvet warmth of her voice, in the teasing lilt she gave every word.
“I do.” He pressed a kiss to the curve of her arm. “I think… I mean, I know I love both of you.”
“Oh, really? Isa too? Here I thought you only blurted that out because I finally let you come.”
“No! That wasn't why.”
Amanda squeezed him tight in her embrace, letting him know she was only giving him shit, and a shared laugh broke between them.
“Either way, you said it to me first. I’m holding that over Isa forever.” Amanda reached over to snag her phone, its notification light winking in the dim room. “Speaking of which…” She unlocked the screen and was about to reply to Isabella’s latest barrage of texts when she hesitated.
Brandon turned his head to look up at her. Her icy blue eyes gleamed with that familiar, wicked spark, the mischievous smirk creeping back across her lips.
“What are you—”
“Actually, give me your phone. Come on. Unlock it for me.”
Brandon obeyed, handing it over. Amanda immediately pulled up the front-facing camera and tucked him back against her chest, nestling his head right where she wanted it.
She shifted just enough to expose one of her bare breasts right beside his cheek, claiming half the frame alongside him, then tilted the angle downward so only her lips made it into the shot. Snap.
She opened his messaging app and sent the photo straight to Isabella from his account.
The typing bubble flickered on and off a few times before Isa's reply finally popped up: I know it’s you, Amanda.
“Worth a shot.” Amanda pressed a kiss to the crown of his head and handed the phone back. “Now then. My final order of the day: set that photo as your lock screen. It’s going to be absolute perfection picturing how red your face gets every time you have to pull your phone out in public.”
“Isabella’s the one who’s gonna turn bright red when she sees it,” Brandon chuckled, already complying.
“That’s just the icing on the cake.”
He’d barely finished setting the wallpaper before Amanda was nipping at his earlobe and trailing kisses across his cheek. Her hands guided him down flat against the mattress, her legs wrapping around his waist.
The night was still long, and Brandon was going to savor every single second of it.
