Chapter 30 #2

And deep in the corner, Blaise shook and swore to himself while he jerked himself off to the scene in front of him.

I smiled over at him, watching as his eyes closed in ecstasy and he spilled his seed inside his pants.

This was the most intimate moment I’d ever had, and I was glad Blaise was a part of it too…

even if it needed to be on his own terms.

As my body shuddered and Roman pulled away, I collapsed on top of Aiden’s chest, breathing heavily and feeling like stretched rubber.

In a good way, of course. With my head turned to the side, I watched the blue haze swirl around the four of us until it balled up into a tight unit…

and flew directly at my face. I gasped, opening my mouth just wide enough that the particles slipped inside.

Coughing like I could feel it tickle the back of my throat, I pushed myself up so that I was sitting across Aiden’s hips and looked around the room. “Did any of you see that?”

“See what?” Dorian asked, rubbing the side of his face against my shoulders.

“That blue foggy stuff. Like a—” I couldn’t finish my sentence since I was suddenly overwhelmed with a tremendous feeling of love.

Like a gut punch to the heart, my body could barely contain the intense emotion dancing over every cell.

There was love. There was possession. There was joy.

There was even a little anger, but anger that was also tinged with gratefulness.

“Katarina?” Roman asked with worry etched in his voice. He grabbed my arms and forced me to look at him. “What’s wrong.”

“Nothing,” I whimpered through my tears. Why was I crying? Just too many emotions all at once.

“Did I hurt you?” Dorian asked, jumping to my side so he could turn my face toward his.

“No,” I smiled, another tear slipping free.

“Kitty Cat?” Aiden was still stuck beneath me, so I rubbed my hands over his chest in comfort.

“I’m okay. Really,” I tried to reassure them. “Just…overwhelmed with happiness.”

The bedroom doors clicked close, and a rush of disappointment flitted through me. Blaise was gone.

“Katarina, what did you see?” Roman asked.

“I think…” I stopped, not quite knowing what to say. “I think I saw magic.” The three men all shared a look that had me worried, so I continued. “Apparently, I have some magic in my blood, and it seems to be manifesting when I’m with you all…like in a sexual way.”

Dorian huffed a laugh and kissed the side of my neck. “I’m good with that. Let’s keep manifesting this magic.”

“Yeah, I second that motion,” Aiden called out from below.

Roman had settled back on his knees and started watching me like a hawk, head twitching side to side as he studied me.

While that would have weirded me out a week ago, now I knew he was doing it out of concern and not because he was trying to figure out the best way to kill me. “You have more to tell us.”

I instantly knew what he was referring to and I hated how exact his vampire senses were. I guess there would be no secrets in this house. “Yes,” I said quietly.

With a smile, Roman bent forward, gently lifted my chin, and kissed me slowly. “Then it’s time we had a family meeting.”

My heart melted at the use of the word ‘family’, but I didn’t miss the sharpness to his tone that implied he may have some truths to discuss too.

Aiden disappeared from below me, and I yipped as I dropped to the mattress. Dorian growled at him while holding on to me, and Roman gave him a glare when he reappeared beside the bed.

“What?” he asked innocently. “Let’s get cleaned up and have this damn meeting. I will bring the mimosas.”

“It’s almost noon,” Roman said while he untangled himself from the blankets and slid off the bed, still fully naked and not having a care in the world that there were others in the room.

“It’s noon?” I asked, embarrassed and surprised we’d slept so late.

Dorian kissed me on the cheek and bounced to the floor. Holding his hand out to me, he said, “We all needed it, Kitty Cat. No one’s been sleeping much since they took you.”

At the reminder that we still had to deal with the Crescent Coven and their motives for using me in their schemes, the mood sobered a bit. That was until Aiden ran into the bathroom and came back holding a damp towel out to me. “I guess we could have cleaned you up,” he said with a small grin.

I laughed, taking the towel and holding it against my stomach.

“I can take care of that…if you all can give me a few minutes?” The truth of the matter is I didn’t want to be away from any of them for very long.

But my body was a bit worn out, and I wouldn’t mind having a little time to myself to get washed off and refreshed.

I mean, seriously, I really needed to shave… like everywhere.

Roman nodded, pick up his underwear and clothes, and sauntered out the door. Calling out over his shoulder, he said, “In the memorial garden in an hour.”

“Got it.”

“Yes, boss.”

I gazed up at the wolf and the fae, the two men who’d first captured my heart and opened a whole new world of opportunities for me. “Thanks,” I whispered, tears catching in my throat as the emotions ran rampant.

Aiden immediately bent forward and wrapped me in a hug. He still smelled like that magical forest of his, and I drowned in the comfort of his touch. “Please don’t cry,” he breathed. “I canno’ bear to watch you suffer,” his Scottish accent suddenly coming though very strong.

I squeezed him tight and then reached out toward Dorian so he would join the embrace. Once the wolf was in my arms, I sighed. “I love you.”

They each kissed my cheeks and returned the sentiment, holding me as close as they could.

“But I really do need a little time for self-care.”

“Of course,” Aiden said, pulling away first.

“I’ll escort you to the garden,” Dorian said quickly before adding, “If you like?”

“That sounds perfect.”

Aiden grumbled in agreement before giving me one last lingering kiss that had me flushed and ready to go again. But he grabbed his clothes and disappeared before I caved and asked him to stay. Probably for the better.

“Meet you here in forty-five?” Dorian asked.

I took a moment to stare at his incredible form, tattoos snaking down his neck and arms, hair hanging freely like a matted yet super sexy mess. His dick twitched when he saw me ogling and I giggled. “Do they always move on their own like that?”

He wiggled his hips back and forth, swinging his beast from side to side. “Yes.”

I held up a hand. “Okay, you need to stop, or I’m going to ask you to stay.”

“I don’t mind,” he said, dick slapping as it hit one hip, then the other.

“Stop!” I laughed.

He grabbed his length and looked down at it. “Not right now, mate. Our woman needs a little recovery time.”

“Oh my gosh.”

With a smile, Dorian helped me off the bed and gently nudged me toward my bathroom. “Go, get ready. I’ll be back soon.”

I reached up to grab his face and melted, as always, against his lips. Dorian and I fit together. I couldn’t explain it any better than that. We just worked.

Slapping his naked ass and turning on my heel, I sauntered into the bathroom while he watched. I heard a groan and a muted conversation as I closed the doors, assuming he was talking to his erection again.

That made me smile, and even as I started the shower and finally stepped under the hot water cascading down from the rain showerhead, I couldn’t keep the grin off my face.

We had some shit to deal with, sure. But if I had these wonderful men by my side to face it, then I was pretty damn sure we would come out of this okay.
